you're the first person to ACTUALLY explain it to me, i could never find out why my headset mic wont pick up on playstation thank you so much brodie for da help!!
You forgot to mention that you need to be a scientist, electrician, plumber, landscaper, pc tech, doctor, nurse, president of the United States, etc... 😳😂😂
Don't forget, once you start streaming you need to be a shrink, a social dynamo, emotionally intelligent to the point of over sensitivity so you don't express an opinion that upsets minorities or anyone else 🤣
I've watched a few videos on how to start streaming, but this was the first that broke it down so I could fully understand what to do. Appreciate it man !
I’m starting to stream for first time on first of January and I can’t even put into words how helpful this one was. Thanks so much and I’ll definitely come back for tips for streaming if you do vids like that. I know exactly where to start now.
So my company is allowing us to take time off to stream for Extra Life in a few weeks and I was freaking out because I didn't know anything about what I would need to do. This video really helped, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Hey man, good job on this video, you basically covered everything that I needed to know. I was mostly confused about how the Elgato worked but you covered it perfectly. Thanks!!
I’ve watched over 40 videos & yours been the most helpful & actually helped me with my problems! Your step by steps are really great! You get a sub 🏆🏆💯
This is a great video, but the problem with this is if you want to continue to play on 120FPS you have to deal with delayed audio. If you input 1080p120, and output only 1080p60 you are going to be missing 60FPS of audio that will over time delay the audio you're outputting to your stream, or recording. That was the major issue I had to deal with.
So here’s what I’m working with: - PS5 - 2 monitors - elgato HD-S - 1 mic - debating on OBS or a software called Filmora x I just want to record gameplay and upload onto TH-cam. Can you break it down “Simple Stupid” for me please? Thanks
Things you need. 1. ps5 2. monitor/tv 3. elgato hd60 +s 4. camera 5. good pc/ strong connection 6. two mic: party chat and livestream audio 7. good headset 8. 2x hdmi cable 9. 2x aux/3.5mm cable 10. two female to one male aux splitter 11. obs studio software 12. lighting
I don't game and I know nothing of online streaming lol. But I want to get this setup as a surprise for my honey! You have given so much detail thank you so much!!😊
Found Elgato HD60 very efficient to livestream my gaming session. My video hosting service (StreamingVideoProvider) suggested Elgato HD60 and AVerMedia Live Gamer ULTRA GC553 and found both of them very efficient.
About the two microphones, i’m currently using Arctis 9 and it comes with the dongle. If your headphone comes with a dongle, you dont need another microphone because you can still connect your wireless headphone to the dongle and that will act as your microphone instead. I’ve tried this
if you use the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro - it comes with its own base station and a 3.5mm audio out - which you can connect to the HD60S+ 3.5mm jack - so it will record all audio, and you get to use a great wireless headset :)
I appreciate the video, I set all my equipment up the other day but spent 30 mins trying to figure out how to capture the game audio on the recording and hav headphones on never thought of getting a headphone spliter I’m sure I have one lying around
Man, thank you for exciting lol, and for making the best and most detailed streamer setup, I’ve been looking everywhere, now I’m just happy I bumped into your page. I’ll make sure to subscribe. Thanks again.
Great video! Thanks for explaining everything. The only question I have is using two mics. One for the group chat and one for your stream. Since you are recording your voice to stream on both, do you not hear your voice twice? Or an echo of your voice?
@@ruval918 so, the reason you use two mics is so you could have a conversation in your twitch chat without bothering the players. And you can go in your chat settings and mute your gameplay mic for the stream chat. I bought an astro a40 with mixamp. You can go into the control panel and mute the mic for stream ( only gameplay can hear you ) and use my razer raisen for the stream.
@@belgianbrawler8558 i just got me some artic7 thinking it was going to help my problem. But all just put in the extra cash and get some a40. Thank for the help again
Now how much storage should I have for the recordings if I were just getting gameplay? And btw love how you memetioned everything and have a setup video! Me and my friend were struggling with his setup yesterday trying to figure everything out lol
This diddnt work because you need 2 hdmi ports in the playstation one to go into the el gato and one to go into the monitor which the playstation only has 1 hdmi port
If I don't use the TV and just stream into the laptop, is the game delayed on the laptop? In fact, when I'm traveling and I don't have access to a TV, can I play games on my laptop with Elgato like a TV? non-delay is such an essential factor for me.
Thanks for the video it's been extremely helpful... I purchased a few items you recommended. And I can't wait for them to arrive... question: Philips Fidelio x3, are you able to use those headphones with the the mic set up and talk the voice chat in game?
@@techbymidas thanks man! i'm having difficulty with the audio. everything seems right. but when i connect my USB camera (its a webcam with a built-in mic), i lost the games audio on the stream and only myself can be heard. so i guess it has to do something with the settings on Obs.
Thank you for this.I am getting into streaming and was having a hard time determining if I really needed a Gaming PC, Ill probably get one in the future but im okay with my ps5, just put of curiosity would this be ideal for streaming games like Warzone ? im new to phrases like FPS and resolutions
Quick question bro if my capture card has a mic plug in, do i still connect the mic to the pc or plug it to the capture card ? thanks a lot for everything !! big thumbs up for your work
Hey there! Thinking about getting into streaming soon so jut a quick question. I have a wired headset with a detachable mic. Am I able to use the headset mic for party/game chat and just get one additional USB mic for talking to my audience? Thanks in advance :)
I’m having some problems streaming from an PS5, there’s some serious lag and how do you make videos of your streaming gameplay to put on Twitch? Is the Elgato what I need?
hey gang, question! i've been having doubts, and can't seem to find this anywhere but .. what about the wired connection? as in do you guys use like a switch hub to connect both your pc and ps5 to the switch, or do you bridge the connection with only one ethernet cable? how do you guys do it?

Does the capture card only records 1080p60 and 4k30 and not 4k60 on ps5 ?
