I hope to see “Eden” again in The Chosen. She is an amazing actress. Probably won’t happen as Peter’s wife doesn’t appear in Scripture again to my recollection. She added a lot to the story!
She definitely brought spunk! I hope she gets future roles
Dallas Jenkins hinted at bringing her back for sure in the future-this won’t be the last we see of her thankfully 😉

The Midrash-like nature of this show's storytelling means that there is a chance we might see her in future episodes... I certainly hope so! :)
She doesn't 'appear' in Scripture anywhere.
@@usuariopromedio4760 yes it is written in Luke 4 that Peter had a mother-in-law. My point of her (Peter’s unnamed wife) not being in scripture at ALL was in response to the statement “Peter’s wife doesn’t appear in scripture AGAIN...”
I am an indian...watched this series last week...eventhough I am an christian by birth.this series have taught me many things and changed my views in many aspects..and moreover jesus is too friendly that I could even imagine...and eagerly waiting for the next season..and it will be added in my prayer list from today...soon next season must be out with same cast and crew that can create same impact on each one of us...thank u lord for everything

@@xaviereng5754 nominal Christian born into a Christian family. we do have to write our "religion" in our birth certificates or any other document so whenever someone asks, we say we're Christians but we all know being born again is a lot different

God loves you. 🥰 You, oh you. How blessed you are by our LoVING and Generous GOD, who created the HEAVENS and the Earth. Yet HE adores you the most ❤️. He even loves us so much HE suffer the pain we deserved & set us free of sin and conquered DEATH. He who watches over you and called you by name. You are HIS! He says to (you) “CHILD Come to me” so we come with open arms He has and love. -TURN TO THE LORD~ God died on cross for us to be free of sin. You probably heard that a lot.. but the message has a (deeper meaning) hell was created for devil and demons but we fell into sin of our sinful nature and if we die in sin we go to hell as a punishment. Now God isn’t being unfair, it’s a punishment for our DEEDS not God, plus how can He be unfair and unloving if HE Chose to give us another chance and gave us the best gift of ETERNAL LIFE. Notice how I said ~Chose~ not because He had to but because HE CHOSE TO. He didn’t choose to save devil or demons but for you. HE LOVES US THAT MUCH! He is our GOD and Jesus is coming soon!!!☦️✝️😊

@@alanaalbarado2357 I had a Total Revision of my knee surgery 12.1.20 and was in physical therapy until 6.23.21 so I wasn't able to participate in the Sermon on the Mount.
No wonder there are long credits with so many names, invaluable people behind the scenes, making the whole production happen. Much respect.
A director with a good sense of humor is definitely plus. The one-eye approach is priceless. :) Thank you, Justen, this was insightful and delightful at the same time.

In awe of this series! Being a Christian has never been so fun and strongly connected to my faith as before. Thank you Mr. Dallas Jenkins and the other producers, the wonderful cast, and all of the talented people that makes this show such a gift and joy to humankind especially in our challenging times of this pandemic.
Lara Silva as Eden has given what I feel are two Oscar performances! The first was her admonishing Simon when his faith failed. The second when she turned to show Simon her face when he was to follow Jesus. There is no one in Hollywood that is as good.
And every actor chosen for their part in this wonder-filled series perfectly caste. Thank you for the richness of heart. I have purchased the DVDs and will continue to watch over and over again until Season 3 is released. Hundreds of millions are waiting! I think the first episode of Season 3 will be such an explosion of viewers are love might melt the airwaves!

I'm a uni student from Hong Kong, and during our student group's orientation camps, one of the songs we dance to is actually that exact song they danced to in this video!!!
That tune was readapted and released as "狂歡" (which roughly translates to "revelry"?) in a 1998 album by George Lam (林子祥), a famous Cantopop veteran.
It's so surreal to watch people from across the world dancing to the same tune and experiencing the same fun! This is the only show I've binged and will ever binge ❤

Well said Nicole. Sometimes we forget that Jesus was a human being like us and this is what makes this show unique. Even how it portrays the relationship he had with his disciples and even the relationship the disciples had with themselves. That's how human beings are but sometimes we forget that. Watching this show has given me a different perspective when reading the Bible. God bless you

Thanks for showing us the crew members and their responsibilities. One striking thing -- besides they are very professional in their work -- they are happy in it, and their relationships of mutual respect evident. Dallas, I laughed aloud at the "getting to their level" in 'humility' with eye patch! Another proof of the camaraderie and interaction among crew, staff, actors and Director that go into creating this marvelous The Chosen!

I LOVE behind the scenes, so interesting. I was an extra in The Matrix Reloaded so I know that a lot of work you don't see goes into the production. I always watch things over and look for details.

I see many great friendships as a result of producing this show.
I honestly think that God would want lightness and humanity being shown. Too much staunch piety can become negative and lead to tensions and hurtful things. Bringing joy and humor to Jesus, and the disciples is a beautiful thing. It makes us more able to find a deeper connection with the Narrative.

Justin you were great in your scene. I lost count on the number of times I have watched this series. I think it is upwards of Fifty Plus though. Telling everyone about it, sharing on every platform, Paying it forward every month, and giving DVD’s out to folks when I have them. Would be great to have it on a thumb drive. It’s smaller in size and you can carry more of them to give out. Just an idea.
