Anyone, Any religion can practice Buddhism, It is not the religion, It is a way of live! You can still be a Muslim or a Christian or a Hindu and yes, you can practice buddhism, Buddhism will never persuade you to become one but rather than you decide yourself and have a judgement of yourself.

If you meditate whether in Turkish Dervish Mosque or Myanmar or Hindu temples, there can be tranquility and peaceful mind. The problem is Myanmar Thanga Maha Nayaka (Monks government by elder monks) has not condemned or comment anything on 969 radical Buddhist monks and gangs' attacks on moderate peaceful Muslims of Myanmar. Young boys from Muslim school were hacked and burned alive in Meikhtila by monks and Buddhist mob. Myanmar Buddhists are peaceful only in the temple.

Myanmar is a beautiful Buddhist majority country! Many foreigners go there to study Buddhism. I have been there and it is an amazing country.
I lived here for two years and did this right before leaving for the New Year in April. It was difficult but amazing. Highly recommend!
