Do - Day trip to Le Nordik Spa in Chelsea Que and walk visit that little town. Do - The Central Experimental Farm and the Arboretum. Great walking trails and views of the City.
The war memorial is beautiful but it's so small. Compared to the ones I've seen especially the one in Rome , Ottawa really didn't go all out to commarate the fallen. For a nations capital I would expect grandeur and way more of a tribute but all you get is this tiny little thing.

Why would any visit to Ottawa want to come to a city in the middle of no where? Drugs all over the place , street vagabond, Bank street just like a third world area with pot shops and second grade stores… nothing interesting in the byward market…..old museums that shows nothing you can’t see anywhere else. Parliament building construction for the next 10 years…the city transit is a shamble of shame, streets are full of pot holes cracks making for bumpy rides ……nothing worth seeing or coming here for …..unless you like to spend a lot of money for very little…..Ottawa has a lot of issues to address before inviting people to visit…..old history and nothing new. Don’t waste your time or money here….better places to visit in Canada…….like Moose Jaw 😅
