- Hello everybody! Wave It's Didi here.
With all that has happened, I need some time to think. Somewhere that's not of this world.
Terra Incognita. In this part, I explore Terra Orientalis.
This is the second of four parts I'll explore around Terra Incognita. These parts will not include story-related events.
I'm going to start a playthrough of Dragon Quest Builders, a favourite of mine. It blends an RPG (like Dragon Quest) and Minecraft.
This playthrough should not be used as a guide or walkthrough. I'm just having fun and messing around with adding voices for the characters. I enjoyed voicing all the characters I encountered throughout the chapter.

I recorded this back in July 2024. I enjoy making these silly playthroughs. I am using my current Vtuber model in this video as of its release.

Finally you got some iron. With the Colossal Closet you are so much more free to explore the cardinal islands.
I am the same as you. I cannot go into a sandbox game and just start playing around. I need a goal to strive to. This is why I stopped playing Minecraft after 15 minutes. When I did my LP I wanted to show off Terra Incognita, but the only goals I could set for myself is to do the same as what I did in the chapters, and that is to build a town, castle and monster fort.
4:05 I think you walked by buried treasure here. I saw a big arrow pointing at a tree. And maybe you walked even past two treasures here, because there was a similar tree next to it. In total there are 3 seeds of life buried under a tree, 1 can be obtained from a structure, and 2 are in an alcove in the mountains.
22:14 And this is why I don't bring party members in Terra Incognita. The only one I bring is Kitty, because she is a mount and you don't have any problems of leaving her behind.
39:00 I know. Somehow Terra Incognita favors monsters showing up over villagers. That is why I ended up favoring the human NPCs. That way they wouldn't run of, when a new monster would arrive. I hope your seed is more forgiving.
43:32 This is something I found out too late for my LP, but can you make a Breadbasket on the Brick BBQ in the PC version? Because on the Switch and PS4 that recipe is exclusive to a Cookfire in Terra Incognita. I upgraded all my cookfires to Brick BBQs, assuming that I would only get more recipes. I never considered that I could lose one.
47:40 The Falcon Blade is really cool. I might be wrong, but the Ring of Criticality is unlocked by Tantegel chapter challenges. And without that ring, the Falcon Blade is pretty quickly outclassed, by other swords and the Battle Axe.
59:10 Anything of value around there, would be a metal slime. But you might have had to do the quest in that hut once and have the Island reset, before it shows up.
1:08:36 Interesting. It is interesting to see that the island hasn't spawned in yet. Thanks for showing this. But is that a bedrock of coal that you are walking on or is it story locked?
1:13:42 The Holyhock Seed is the only way to get Holyhock flowers in your base. They are nowhere else to be found, that you can dig them up with a shovel. This is your only source. Unless you grow, harvest and turn them in seeds again.
1:20:54 I'm wondering is an infinite supply of "Blank Tickets" also something you can get with pixels? Because if so, that is also one you do want to get. In the Switch and PS4 version Terra Occidentalis (chapter 4) is the best spot for farming blank tickets. You only get a total of 10 before you need to reset the island again and again. Which is actually one of the worst parts of grinding for Fortress Blocks. It is such a hassle. Considering you need level 3 tickets for the better materials, you need at least 3 blank tickets, 1 copper, 1 silver and 1 gold before you can make one such ticket.
Fun fact: You can build a fortification on Terra Gladiatoria. The reason why you want to do that, is to put a herbalist cauldron over there. This way you can craft healing items during battle. The only way to lose a tussle is when your HP drops to 0. For the rest it doesn't matter what the monsters do. They can come to the middle, destroy your entire structure, but as long as you don't die you don't lose. However, at one point the battles aren't difficult anymore.
Your structure won't disappear either when you leave. Similar to Terra Incognita, you cannot reset Terra Gladiatoria either.
