9:55 How do you manage to record the gameplay this way, in full screen ? Because on my screen, I can see that the screen is split in two. I'd like to be able to do what you do, because I want to make quality VR videos on Microsoft Flight Simulator with the Pimax Crystal Light. Thanks bro
We use Davinci Resolve to edit our videos. Since Flight Simulator 2020 doesn't support single lens screen recording (as far as we know), I use Davinci Resolve to then transform the video capture of both lenses and crop it until all I can see is 1 of the lenses. In contrast, DCS World supports single lens recording wherein a full-screen image is produced and it is easy to record.
No specific BIOS settings at all. Out of curiosity, have you followed the steps for your 7800X3D in order to maximize performance? Steps such as "balanced" on your PC's power options, and verifying that "amd3dvcacheSvc" is actively running on your task manager. I know that may not sound like much but I noticed a significant change once I established those parameters in order to take advantage of that X3D cache.
On Pimax Play, under Device: Room Lighting Frequency - Auto. Refresh Rate - 120Hz. Games Tab: Render Quality - Custom (0.80), No FFR, No Smart Smoothing On PimaxXR-Open XR: PimaxXR selected as active OpenXR Runtime Prefer framerate over latency Hope this helps
@@thatflightsimchannel thanks. Was just confused if only to use the pymax play app or use the external apps aswell after they included the new features in the play settings
@@thatflightsimchannel On PimaxXR-Open XR: PimaxXR selected as active OpenXR Runtime .. Where is this please? Is this in the ctrl-f2 settings? I have a new Pimax Crystal Light, and I am confused about the settings. When I make changes in the ctrl-f2 window they are not making changes to the MSFS experience. I think this is the key step I am not doing. But I dont know where to do it!!
@@billbaggins1688 I suggest restarting your headset after you've made changes and potentially, restarting the simulator as well. Otherwise, the changes I've made are all through the PimaxPlay software and then Device Settings
