I’ve got a TLX, and I can say that after having it for a month, the button transmission is something you get use to. It’s actually easier to use once you get use to going from a shifter stick to buttons. They are easy to distinguish because of their shape and all. Regarding the touch pad, yes, it can be a little frustrating at times, however it’s decent and is fully functional at all speeds. Most touch screens lock out some features when in motion. Something to keep in mind. If you can think about those two points, I think it’s an amazing product. Picking up my RDX, same trim as you treated tomorrow. Returning my 3rd TLX for my RDX. The last 3 cars I’ve had all had the button transmission, and it’s better. Less clutter in the cabin and easier to use without looking at it.
Thanks for your comments! I'm still impressed with the SH AWD. I just bought a 2024 Golf R and it has the RS3 torque vectoring AWD and unlike the Acura, mine is not seamless. Most times I can feel the power shift around. Great SUV. Enjoy
I own a 2021 Rdx Aspec and I love it. My only complaints are that the 21 model does not have a digital speed readout, that was added in 22. Fuel mileage is not the greatest but the engine is very powerful. I agree with the ventilated seats, could be better. I don't understand why people complain about the gear shift, no issues and simple to use. The touch pad for the infotainment system doesn't bother me, once set up, I barely even use it. Sound system is awesome, seats are very comfortable. Quiet highway driving. Good handling. I would take this over a BMW or Audi any day for reliability. And finally, it's not on the same platform as the CRV, it is a totally different platform.
I'm with you on this one: while it's a nice SUV and it would be a top choice of mine if I was looking to buy an SUV in this segment, it's just not my type of vehicle. I'd happily save thousands and either get the Integra (if I cared enough to have the Acura badge and didn't care about losing the upper cargo space from the fastback) or save even more money and get a Civic hatch which delivers 9/10 of the cargo space and practicality in a more compact and sporty package.
The RDX, including this one, has always been based off the Civic/CR-V platform. In this case it's based off the 10th gen Civic/5th gen CR-V. Essentially the formula is, use the CR-V as the base, add the Accord's optional motor and make it look and feel like an Acura.
Yes, this gen RDX has its own platform which makes this more unique, the only thing this RDX shares with the CRV is probably size. While the new CRV is great and comfortable this RDX drives like a sports car, not really comparable.
Interesting! I remember messing around with the settings but I don't remember seeing that as an option...I wonder if I missed it. It was clear but agreed it was black and white.
Not sure on what's you mean by the numbers being off because I provided screenshots from Acura's official website. Unless you didn't realize it was in Canadian. Unless you meant something else. And I agree on the EV but I reviewed one and I could see someone who likes the size, zippiness and luxury of an RDX but wants to try electric liking it.

Bought same vehicle with red interior a couple months ago……fantastic choice
Congratulations! I bet that looks nice.

Well said:)
Are you able to do a review on any Genesis products (G70, GV70?)
Thank you in advance
I can try. Unfortunately, the dealer in this city won't loan me a car but may Hyundai Canada might. I'm interested myself about them!

Wrong. RDX is no longer built on a CRV platform.

@@chrisbrook1234 The previous generation RDX's did share the same platform. But the 3rd gen Acura RDX was designed with it's own platform.

why do they advertise the HUD is full color. its Black/White.

You numbers are off, loaded x3 way more money, and why compare to an electric suv?
