I just got a 2024 RDX A-Spec Advance. It's a blast to drive. I test drove an MDX and it just felt too large and ominous for general commuting and navigating tight parking lots etc. I almost let the touchpad deter me but I am getting familiar with it and it's becoming more second nature. I love how sporty it is. Seats are super comfy and it's quieter than my former 2020 Subaru Outback Limited.
Thanks for the comment & detailed feedback! Congrats on the new ride, what color combo did you get? Yeah the RDX is definitely a sporty, fun to drive SUV!
Love Acura and my current 2023 TLX, but after the latest sales report they need to standardize touchscreens as soon as yesterday, make Type S with more performance, and have hybrid options across the lineup to stay relevant.
@@Drive_Culture Metallic Grey and Advanced Package (the last of it's kind) with SH-AWD! Aside from a few complaints, it's been a joy to drive. I want to upgrade to the next generation TLX Type S, but I'm hoping the RLX makes a comeback for some more interior space.
Thanks a lot for the comment & feedback! Noted! I’ll focus more on the interior dash than myself moving forward. Hope you subbed to come back for more!
Great review! I just purchased a 24 A-Spec Advance in Majestic Black about a month ago. Really enjoying it so far. Definitely has some nice features and enjoyable to drive. True Touchpad is easy to get used to, but I primarily use voice commands for navigation and choosing a playlist, so no big deal imo.
Wow! Thanks for the comment & feedback! Congrats on the new ride, what interior color did you get? Yeah I agree with your points too. Let us know if there are different trims or vehicles you’d like to see on the channel!
Thanks for the comment! Going for the Advance package, RDX would gain 360 surround view camera, head up display, adaptive suspension & more. It’s the next step up, but you would lose some of the sporty design unless you went for the A-Spec with Advance (top trim)!
Great review. I currently have a TLX and am contemplating an RDX for my next car. It feels like it has the sportiness of the TLX in an SUV form. I wish they would bring a hybrid to the line, but Acura went all in on EV. I also wish it had the digital dash that came to the TLX this year. But that's a really minor quibble.
Wow! Thanks for the comment & detailed feedback! Yeah the RDX is definitely like a TLX in SUV form! Which package do you have and what color is your TLX?
Hi i just got my 2024 RDX A-Spec this week and when i hit into the road i can feel a pull when the car hit 20miles and another pull on 35miles is that normal? The feeling of the pull is like i'm driving under manual mode and shifting to another gear...any comment?
Thanks for the comment & question! Congrats on the new ride, what color did you get? As for what you’re experiencing, it’s kind of hard to say. What drive mode are you in? Is the transmission in D or S? Obviously, if it feels really weird or strange, I’d suggest going back to the dealer.
@@Drive_Culture thanks, is a White with inside Red , is been doing on Confort, Normal and Sport mode and is under D mode. Yes i already call the dealer ship to book an appointment, i just hope is normal.
Wow! Thanks for the comment & feedback! Can’t say timing on MDX just yet, but we’ll try to get the current & refreshed models on the channel soon. Any particular trims you’d like to see?
The 2025 MDX Type S. Go a little more into the tech, go into the screen settings and give us a look. I do appreciate your work and time. Keep on pushing bro!
I always liked the RDX, but it would be nice to see a new gen with touchscreen, a type S AND hybrid versions.. Acura had a great hybrid set up in the RLX and old MDX and stopped selling them just as hybrid sales picked up. Toyota/Lexus can't keep their hybrids on the lots ... why is honda/acura not keeping up?

I'm so in love with this vehicle. And this trim package too.
Thanks for the comment & feedback! Do you own one yourself? If so, what color combo did you get? If not, let us know if you pull the trigger!

I’ve had mine about a month and just learned the center console slides forward. Thank you!
Thanks for the comment & feedback! Congrats on the new ride! What color combo did you go with?
@@Drive_Culture white spec with black interior. Loving it so far
Good video. I would rather the camera focus on the IP then on you for half the video.

@@Drive_Culture It has the Ebony Interior, like the one in the video.
Can you share what you get if you step up to “advance”? Would that be the next step up?

No Type S version is just criminal.
Thanks for the comment and feedback! Ha, yes it would be sweet!

I love the RDX, I don't care for the red stitching
Thanks for the comment & feedback! What color should the stitching be? It’s an off-white color on the Orchid interior!

I didn't know the armrest moves until I saw you do that...😄
Thanks for the comment! Ha, glad that I could be of help!
Omg me either and I stuggle to each it ahha
When will the 2025 RDX be announced?
Thanks for the comment! As this channel is not affiliated with Honda or Acura, I cannot say. Are you looking to buy one when it’s released?
@@Drive_Culture Yes, Im looking forward to upgrading my 2019 Accord.
Needs a type S version
Thanks for the comment! A Type S version would be great! Is that what you would buy?
I would. Since they don't offer a v6, I went with a preowned BMW X3 M40i.
Thanks!
Wow! Thank you very much for the support! 🙌🏾
The RDX is Acura's compact SUV...not mid-size...that would be the MDX.
Thanks for the comment & feedback! Yes, if I misspoke, you’re correct!
what if they keep the K24 engine, and make it hybrid (even mhev it's ok
)
Thanks for the comment & feedback! Yeah that would definitely make for an interesting powertrain. What do you currently drive?
21 TLX
Correction. Small SUV. The Honda CRV is even bigger.
Crap fuel economy, brutal infotainment system and no hybrid. ⛽️ 👎🏼
Thanks for the comment & feedback!
Good review the s type 3.0 liter V6 engine has a peculiar problem that this vehicle variant doesn't need
Thanks a lot for that comment & feedback!
