I* would suggest both draining AND filling the boiler solution from the port that you used to drain the Aqua Hot. All that is needed is a 1/2" male pipe to 1/2" tubing adapter screwed into the valve on the end of the "drain hose". After draining all the propylene glycol, connect your manual pump to the adapter via some 1/2" clear tubing, open the valve and pump the solution into the Aqua Hot. This minimizes air being trapped in the system. Just keep adding glycol until the reservoir is about half full, then run the system and top off as necessary. I might also suggest that instead of the manual pump that a RotoPump brand drill pump be used instead. The adapter, tubing, and nifty drill powered pump can all be acquired with one trip to Lowe's. (BTW: The drill pump comes with tubing and fittings and costs about the same as a decent manual pump.)

There are other videos that don't describe diluting the Camco boiler fluid. So glad you made that clear. Good job

I just did this flush tonight. Followed your instructions but got to a point where the fluid would not go in anymore. Only got about 2 gallons in. I went to the Aquahot site and read where there is a purge valve on the top of the unit (like a valve stem on a tire). When I took the cap off and pushed down on the valve the air started coming out and the fluid started to go in. I did this until it was coming out all fluid and no air. Was a lot faster. I ran out of time tonight to test the heat but will tomorrow. Thank you for the info on what and where to buy the product!!

I am so happy to have stumbled across your channel! We are new owners to a 2017 Entegra Aspire and planning on going full-time in September. It is nice to have someone with the same coach that can help us navigate some of the issues we will have along the way. Your videos are very well done and we hope to see you on the road! Thanks for a great job!

Hi there! We bought a coach last year that has this system. This video gives me the knowledge and confidence to drain and replace the fluid. Thanks for the video!

You can fill it back up with the pump you have using the drain hose. It's full when it enters the reservoir. Close valve and pour remaining into reservoir and done.

Thanks for the great video! My coach is only a year old with a 450 Aquahot so I don’t need to change out the antifreeze yet but it’s great to see how easy it will be when I do have to service the antifreeze.

Thank you for the video! We have owned 3 Diesel 450 AquaHot systems and never had any trouble on the first two systems which used Pink Camco fluid. Our two Pink Camco Aqua Hot systems stayed for years with clear pink fluid and no troubles. However currently...We have run into the “sludge coke colored” fluid on our new system that was factory installed with Century Fluid Green/Yellow color. We believe the troubles are all coming from the Century Transfer Fluid and we are planning to change over our system like you did to Pink Camco Fluid and hopefully it will be before troubles set in with the pumps etc. Thank you for taking the time to share this video!

was yours just 6 gallons of diluted boiler antifreeze?.... or was it 6 gallons of full strength plus 6 gallons of water?

We just had our system serviced. We did run our heat where we were staying. We looked at the reservoir before we left and there was no fluid in there. We have always been able to see pink fluid at the cold line before. We checked again when we got home and still no fluid there. We could see fluid in the tubing and the color of that fluid is brownish yellow. We had the work done at Tiffin shop at red bay Alabama. Is this a problem that we need to fix? Thanks for the video! We can do it ourselves next time.

My system fluid is brown and thus I need to do a full flush with water first. Any recommendations on how to quickly flush the water in and the antifreeze out in each zone before then draining and putting boiler back in? I am talking about sequence and if there are any better ways to get the system to take the water in. Otherwise it looks like from your video I will have to put the 16 gallons of distilled water in, put the cover back on and close the whole system up, then turn on furnace and zones and then turn it all off and drain it out and repeat a few times until mostly clear is coming out. I also worry about the water getting up way too hot to be able to drain again quickly.... thoughts?

First of all I must say I love your videos. I would however make a suggestion that instead of adding fluid from the top when doing a full fluid change. That you create an adapter to the drain line and gravity feed from the bottom up. That will force the air out naturally and will make the job go much faster. Other than that it was a well-done video

How can there be too low fluid if the over flow tank shows full . I'm learning about my Aqua hot . I dont use it very much just like 10 min for dishes and showers in the evening .

Did you change out the filter on the diesel burner side?
