Artichoke Spinach Dip Apleebee's Style

- If you are a lover of the Applebee's restaurant, especially you go there to enjoy the Spinach Artichoke dip, you will be able to learn the recipe in this video. You can prepare it as many times as you wish and bring it to parties or family gatherings where everyone will be delighted.

🥬 2 big handfuls of spinach
🥬 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
🥬 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
🧄 2 cups of whole milk
🧄 3 finely chopped fresh garlic
🧄 8 ounces of cream cheese
🍅 1/2 cup of Romano cheese
🍅 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
🍅 1 cup of mozzarella cheese
🧀 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
🧀 1 teaspoon salt
🧀 2 cups of medium-sized artichokes
Procedure:
1. Put water to boil and add the spinach, cook about 5-7 minutes or until they are soft and dark green. Let cool and drain to the side.
2. In a sauce pan add the butter and let it melt, add the flour and cook this mixture called roux for 2 minutes. Add ½ cup of milk and stir to create the béchamel cream. Once the milk has been incorporated, repeat the process until the milk has run out. (It takes about 5 minutes to do this process)
3. Add the fresh garlic, the cream cheese and melt the cream cheese while stirring. Add the Romano cheese and Parmesan cheese (preferably if you grate them at home) then the mozzarella cheese. When the mozzarella cheese has melted, add salt and black pepper to taste.
4. Drain the artichokes and cut into medium pieces. Place in a large bowl. Drain the spinach and cut into medium pieces too. Add them to the bowl with the artichokes.
5. Stir artichokes, spinach and béchamel sauce. Place in the container where you will serve, add Romano cheese, parmesan and mozzarella on top and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 350 ° F. Enjoy with family and friends.

Spinach and artichoke dip is my absolute favorite entree ever. Ty so much! I just watched this and I think I'm going to make this for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I make a variety of dips and I make my own chips as well. Best chips ever are simple as can be...simply use a pizza cutter to cut small tortillas in triangles and deep fry in oil. (I prefer peanut oil myself.) It literally takes 5 minutes or under for the entire process and they're far tastier in homemade dips than store bought chips. You can also make them as soft or crispy as you choose, they crisp up in seconds.

I grow my own artichokes here in ny, this year I'm growing 4 veritys with a total of about 50 plants, I love artichoke dip and I'm always looking for new recipes .
Some years I make so much dip that I will freeze most of it in portions, this way I can have some during the cold brutal winters months we have here in ny and as I'm eating the dip and crunching on a tortilla chip I can just think of the nice warm summer months in the garden picking artichokes.
I love Applebee's dip and can't wait to try it, I just picked about 10 large artichokes and about 30 small to med size ones yesterday with a lot more still to come..

I don't know how I found your channel, but I'm so glad I did! So I just made this. However, I changed the recipe slightly by adding Old Bay instead of Salt and Steamed Shrimp instead of Artichokes (because I didn't have any). OMG, this Shrimp and Spinach Dip turned out AMAZING!!! Your recipe is a great base dip that you can really make your own ❤️

I love spinach and artichoke dip. I havent made this one but i will try it. I use mixed cheeses and its so good but yours look good as well and i will be making it very soon.

Me and my family always order this when we go to Applebee's. It tastes delicious with French fries. Today, I went to Applebee's with some of my little brothers and our uncle Air. We ordered some artichoke spinach dip and Air and the boys ate some tortilla chips with it. Since tortilla chips make me sick, I ate it with a fork. When our food came, I ate some of the artichoke spinach dip with some French fries and it was so good. Since I really love this artichoke spinach dip, I would really like the recipe so I can make it at home.

I think they slice the artichokes smaller tho at restaurants and in dips you buy bc I don't ever see them. Is there any other way you could substitute the artichokes?
I think artichokes give it a beautiful balance, I cannot think of a substitute other than olives, otherwise you can simply remove them and add a bit more spinach
What do you think about replacing the milk with heavy cream? Would this hurt it in any way?
Umm it would probably feel too heavy due to the amount of fat in the heavy cream, but I guess you could try and maybe vary the amount of cheese?

I would really want to make this but what temperature are you using when cooking the bechamel sauce?? Like are you cooking on low, medium, or high?
from my own experience, use low to medium. if it starts to bubble at medium, turn it to low. never high, it will burn

Ate this 2 days ago for the first time in Disneyland Paris found your receipt and now it in the Ofen. First taste test is absolut delicious. Made a too much for two. How can I storage them for later freezer or fridge. How long can I store this in a fridge ?
Bee Scharm you can put it in the fridge about a week. It’s also fine being in the freezer just use an air tight container
