I'm not a Jew but I am drawn to her. She is an incredibly beautiful soul. I feel unconditional love for her. I'm so grateful to Frieda for having such a beautiful respectful wise friend like beloved Pearl. I'm learning so much from Pearl, I am in awe of her gentle non judgemental explanations of certain touchy topics.
I wish one of you had mentioned adoption while discussing infertility. As a Jewish woman who was unable to have children, adoption solved our issue of childlessness. Hashem wants us to raise children. Adoption is an equally good alternative.
Wow thats a big subject excellent question but if I am correct a man can divorce a woman if she can not give him children..it could be his problem....From what I know depends if the child is Jewish (mother Jewish) but if not the child has to convert/brought up Jewish....be good to find out more...
I really appreciated that IVF/Reproductive fertility assistance was discussed. I am on the fence in support of it, although I am glad it is a choice for women/men who seek alternatives. I wonder if it really is safe long term and it does feel a little dystopian (embryo harvesting, etc.) but I can understand for certain individuals it may feel like a miracle option. I am exploring foster/adoption.
Several years ago thru a business connection, my husband and I attended a Satmar wedding. I entered the exclusively women’s room knowing not a soul. The graciousness and warmth of the ladies who took me under their wing, seated me at their table and included me in their conversation and the entire event was incredibly wonderful, their kindness was just overwhelming. A most beautiful and moving experience.
I am crazy about this woman. I am addicted to listening to her. I can't get over her clarity. I also love how you interview her so well. Thank you so much.
I struggled with primary and secondary infertility. I prayed a lot about it, but still it didnt happen. I remember sitting in church and seeing a large family across the aisle. i felt bitter, bitter with God, even. I remember i stood up to go to communion thinking i shouldnt feel that way going up to God, but it hurt so much. It was like at that moment, someone touched me and said "how do you know I am not grieving with you?" It was pretty amazing. So the bit about God being apart of the fertility assistance really touched me. I agree, whole heartedly. Also I ended up with 3 sons and I am grateful every day!

“They can’t tell me what to feel” Such a powerful statement from Pearl. I don’t agree with everything she says or believes in, but I aspire to be so certain in my identity as she is.
Certainty comes from Torah knowledge. You too could have this type of certainty. To be clear, I also do not agree with every single thing the Rebbitzin says, but no 1 agrees with anyone on everything. Your respect for the Rebbitzin differing from you in areas is truly something great. I like the way you stated your comment. I am trying to offer you a way of fulfilling your desire for certainty of identity. I hope my intention of replying with a positive, practical method comes through. I am a committed Christian and thus do not share Pearl's religious beliefs but what a beautiful woman; if more people would share her values and common sense, what a great world this would be. I bet everyone who watches this would love to have Pearl as a friend, she is just great!
Love these videos. I'm a Christian but I share so many of her ideas. I really love and admire the Jewish ability to be thankful every moment of the day. She is a Pearl of great price.
As an Irish Christian lady who was raised in a Catholic home I thoroughly enjoy these videos! And I always take away at least one if not more Pearls of wisdom! May you always be blessed by God!🙏🏻🕊! Px
I am also a cradle catholic and I have Jewish origins in Sefarad (Spain) which always made me drawn to Judaism. Listening to Pearl makes me see the common grounds of our religions and the same God we believe in
Thank you so much for this conversation. I admire how you gently asked provocative questions and how open and clear Pearl was about her beliefs. In an age of uncertainty there's something reassuring about an elder having such firm convictions, even if her views on the role of women are uncomfortable for me to sit with. There's mutual respect and trust between you and it makes it such a pleasure to watch the conversation unfold. I look forward to part 2.
Greetings from Ireland. Pearl is content and happy in her beliefs and shares her wisdom with everyone who wishes to listen. My Catholic faith in God teaches me similiarly to what Pearl is saying now about her beliefs. God bless you all.
Pearl is so popular because her basic values and her love for her family transcendent all the major religions. And, boy!, did I have to change my prejudice about ultra-orthodox Hasidic women! I always thought they were cloistered in their homes, never to be seen or heard of, never speaking their mind, and being virtually alienated from the rest of the world. Pearl certainly is totally "with it", she's taking no prosoners, speaks her mind, and is secure and self-possessed in her convictions. She totally is a "woman of the world", both traditional and modern at the same time! Frieda, you chose a wonderful spokeswoman for the Hasidic community.
Frieda: We talk at least once a week, right? Pearl: Hopefully two 😄...awwww...you two! It's my favorite part! Also I laughed so much at you big knackers! Lastly, your editing is gorgeous and very helpful. For quite some time I didn't know what Pearl exactly had in mind when she referred to Torah. Its much more clear now. As always a delightful interview beautifully done and an amazing opportunity for all of us! Thank you!
Oh I enjoyed that so much. Pearl is adorable and so wise. For someone who says she isn’t educated, she has a phenomenal vocabulary and depth of knowledge on religion and society. Great video. Thank you both!
It’s so nice to listen to someone who knows the value of life, of womanhood, of the vital role mothers play in the good of society. Shalom Pearl. You are a blessing to this world.
I’m Jewish, but my husband is Hindu & we got married in court in India. I was presented with a Hindu “ketubah”… it is also a marriage contract & it also has the responsibilities of the husband only. So, I just wanted to throw in there that there are such things in other cultures. ♥️
The ketubah stipulated that the husband must provide three things to his wife: food, shelter, and conjugal relations. It also lays out explicitly the money to which she was entitled in the event of the husband’s death or a divorce.
@@n.batshevay.7009 I thought I had answered this, but I don’t see my response, maybe I forgot to send it ? I’m at work usually when I’m posting, so I could’ve gotten interrupted & forgotten all about it. I’m so sorry, forgive me. The Indian version of it was that he would provide for all of my needs, make sure I am sheltered, fed, loved, protected, and to be given “all the comforts”. That phrase always stuck out to me. “…that she be given all the comforts.” He hasn’t exactly met that, but he definitely does the things that show he tries. Even the little things, like knowing I’m at work & I only had time to grab a couple of pieces of my seeded bread & a yogurt to bring with me to work, so he comes by mid shift with dinner to be sure I eat. He leaves early, very very early, for work in the morning & before he leaves I feel him put an extra blanket on me when it’s a chilly morning. He turns off the LED light above my spider’s enclosure when the sun goes down to promote natural rhythms for my spider to bed down, like I would if I was home (jumping spiders actually sleep and even have random eye movement, they dream, studies have shown)… So, little things like that I just love so much. I think those things fulfill the contractual requirement well. ♥️♥️♥️
I'm grateful to Pearl for answering questions publicly. Clearly, her faith is strong and unlikely to waver. I see the next episode is set to premiere on Monday, and I'm very excited to hear more, especially after Pearl's comment about reading every book about the Holocaust. Thank you again, Frieda, for such a well composed and edited interview!
I am a committed born again Christian and absolutely love Pearl and her values. Thank you for the work you’ve done to create such beautiful interviews. My son also was drawn to heavy metal lifestyle and I too pray daily for his return to the Lord.
I was raised Christian. I still have faith in God, but I also love heavy metal I was a drummer in a heavy metal band and still consider myself a Christian. There is so much love of God and aspects of heavy metal music because music brings all sorts of different people together all sorts of different beliefs so the style of music isn’t against God it’s the way people add lyrics the words the intentions with the words as well so I would say not to worry that music is a factor because there is a band that I love and they are very famous and the lyrics are give God thanks and praise and another song is called prophecy. My faith in God has not been shaken by heavy metal music in anyway my faith in God has been shaken by my deteriorating, neurological illness and that I now am mostly dictating texts, so I am dictating this right now, which is why there might be some mistakes because I have very limited use of my arms. Please try not to worry too much being judgmental will not work, just be loving and accepting of the person that they are and be proud of them for the strength that they have and that they will be shaped like clay throughout life whatever God throws at them, they will evolve and change how they see the world or think about things or how they see life and death, and the life after I wish you all the best
I’m a Brazilian atheistic journalist and it’s very interesting to know more about such a different way to live. Brazil has few jews and almost none orthodox. Things Pearl say sound from other world for me. We fell sorry for each other, for sure!
These moments we get to spend with Pearl are my very favorite. I wonder if she knows how much she is filling up our spiritual buckets? Her joy is absolutely contagious. Thank you for continuing to share Pearl with us.❤Blessings and love to you both.
Ms. Pearl has inspired me so much. I admire the love and passion she has for the creator. I hope I am as fulfilled in my golden years, as she is. Thank you for telling her beautiful story. It is so powerful, and I will never forget this series. Thank you for sharing Ms. Pearl's story.
I could listen to Pearl everyday. It doesn't even bother me that we have differences of belief and values; she just has such security, clarity and piece of mind and such a loving way of expressing it that it's impossible not to pay attention. A lot of division and conflict in this world could be erased we ALL had this ability to communicate with one another.
Thank you Frieda. You handled this Q&A so gentle and so beautifully in such a respectful manner. Some of it is very hard to understand in today’s world especially for me who is torn between a lot of these issues on a personal level. I Love so much what you do ❤
Wonderful interview with Pearl. Thank you for bringing it to us. I’m fascinated by Hasidism and Judaism and really appreciate your channel. Thanks and keep up the good work!!❤
"What is the holiest place in Judaism? The home. Who is centre of the home? The mother". I'm a Catholic but those words brought tears to my eyes. We mothers and grandmothers try so very hard and it's difficult to be everything that we want to be but we can only do our best. God sees our efforts. Love this woman and the interviewer excellent. Interesting that the Catholic Church differs on the subject of IVF and also the question that Judaism permits divorce where children have not been forthcoming, they don't insist but they do allow it. I should be interested to know what Pearl thinks of Christianity and the Catholic faith. I have never met a Jewish person but I just love Pearl and have much interest in her faith, there is so much we can learn from her even as a Christian woman. I admire so much about her!
I think Pearl would be a very successful politician! 😄 Answers questions with questions, gracefully avoids giving direct answers at times, and speaks confidently and eloquently without having to stop and think. I find all your videos very insightful, and I am learning so much about a culture/religion i knew nothing about until a few weeks ago.
Pearl has a sophistication that we usually associate with education: she validates her information with heart felt clarity and experiential knowledge. She is my kind of teacher and mentor. my family just found out that my German grandmother was Jewish. We had many Jewish traditions mixed with Christian. We thought it was because she worked for Jewish families until they were taken away before the war. She had her own grief at the loss of these families as they treated her better than her own family, they took her on as one of their own children. My mothers DNA shows she is 1/2 Jewish. I have been a hospice and cancer nurse for 40 years and could nvr have children. I always felt that i could care and serve the children of God if i could not have any of my own. Thank you, Pearl and Frieda
Thank you for not only this follow up with Pearl, but your videos more broadly that highlight some of the values of this important community. I do not pretend to understand the nuances of Hasidism, but my understanding of our country's invaluabble diversity is enriched by it. Good Shabbes.
As her name implies, Pearl is a gem. She explains with such calm conviction her world, an outlook and way of life that is antithetical to mine. I could listen to her for hours. More Pearl, please!
Please have Pearl on more - she is such a treasure and I enjoy listening to her and her wisdom! WOW!! I love, love, love this woman. Thank you Pearl and Frieda!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Pearl you are so amazing !! I am already looking forward to the "next" episode while enjoying this one immensely !! Thank you for sharing your wisdom, your faith, your views and your humor !! Thank you Frieda for finding Pearl and for introducing her to us. 🙏🙏🌻🌻
I love how eloquently but also simply she answers the questions. For a woman of not much official schooling I find her extremelly wise, smart, educated and informed.
I simply cannot get enough of you and Pearl Freida. So lovely of Pearl to let us all in and share her world and with you enabling this Frieda, thank you
I was raised as a reform Jew. We honored all of the holidays in our home, followed the traditions and customs, went to temple for most holidays. I went to Hebrew school through high school, I was bat mitzvah. I went to a majority Jewish university. Then I made a friend who was Orthodox. Until one day we were out shopping and she started telling me about something she saw on a shelf and then said to me, “oh you don’t know because you’re not Jewish.” So, I don’t know that I believe that Jewish people who are more devout don’t look down on those that aren’t.
I respect and admire Pearl. She has a fine mind and great kindness. I’m her age and enjoy her wit! Thank you for introducing us to Pearl. Be well and keep on keeping on as you are running a wonderful channel!! ❤️ Suzy
I just love Pearl and watch all of your videos with her the most because she is a very wise woman. Although I’m not Jewish or religious at all, I can tip my hat to her wisdom and communication of what Hasidic Womanhood is about. Her pride in being at the center of the home which is her temple. Thanks for revisiting her and I hope she continues inviting you back because we’ll be watching. She is a great ambassador of Hasidism.
I am SO excited to see this video at last! It's fascinating hearing Pearl speak of the Torah in this way. The indigenous Maori of New Zealand (where I'm from) have a similar concept called 'Tikanga' which literally means custom. It isn't religious per say, but lays out the ceremonial roles and responsibilities for women and men. Men are not allowed to perform the karanga (call) to welcome visitors, for example, because this is a women's role. As Pearl puts it so well, there is no 'envy' between groups. Obviously, this clashes with modern feminism and the idea that all roles should be open to all genders. Personally, I find this super interesting to explore because no belief system or ideology is above critique.
I love how she is unapologetic. Why must we make other societies to feel like they should have to be like us? Look how our society has fallen apart and we think we are happy. What about the children and how they have suffered in our “modern” society.
Children suffered terribly in the past too. And often they suffered brutally and in silence. Just think about how many children were abüsėd by religious institutions and how often no one ever found out about it nor was anyone punished. Just think about all the children who were abüsėd by their alcoholic parents and there was no system to protect them. Just think about all the children who were forced to work in horrible conditions without any legal protections. At least modern times have put an end to that darkness and silence. The past wasn’t some magical time where children were free from suffering. In fact, in many very real, very substantial ways, the suffering was much, much worse.
Pearl is such a wise, warm and lovely lady. I loved her thoughts about gratitude. I agree, when we look at life through the filter of gratitude, everything is better.
Thank you Frieda for these great Q and A with Pearl. It's been a wonderful eye opening to the Hasidic world through her eyes. Wishing you and Pearl all the best. 😀
Bravo for limiting access to the internet. It’s wise to limit and filter what floods the eyes and mind. It’s good to acknowledge that we are impacted by what we see and should be judicious about what we allow to pass into our consciousness.
You two brilliant gals model something so beautiful here in human communication / interaction. A counselor used a lazy 8 resting on it's side once with me if you can picture that. She drew the lines of the crazy 8 pattern over and over again. And commented on the flow -- She brought it up once during a discussion about communication --- the way our interactions should be. The roots found in mutuality. A gentle weaving back and forth of turn taking, careful listening, reaching for clarification, respect, and responding. I just loved this interview. Thank you
When I was a teacher without my own family, I would have disagreed about Pearl's assertion that being involved with children doesn't compare to having children. But she's right. Love how humble and secure she is.
I love your videos with pearl her insight and wisdom are very appreciated as a mystic of a different background! Know she is spreading knowledge and compassion by showing people women of all age and backgrounds can be vivacious and full of life!
I enjoy these interviews so much! I am a Christian but, I am interested in learning about the Jewish faith. Pearl is such a great example of pure faith with much knowledge to go along with it!
I love this wounderfull woman, she says she's not educated but she reads and has so much knowledge. I love the fact she believes in brining children up to be good human beings, theyvare respectful. Pearl nreminds me of my Auntie Florence, who was so wise a Doctor but had children, the love and respect I have for women like Pearl is strong. Hassidisim does move with the times and Pearl explains this.
Pearl's faith is what strikes me the most. With her faith comes a solid base from which she sees and interacts with the world. Everything she shares with us brings that faith alive to me. Pearl shows us a life well lived. High in honor, insight, and acceptance. We struggle to find a place in this world. Pearl shows us a people who have no doubt of their place in this world. They have created a world of order within this world of chaos. Their life revolves around God, not just hit and miss. I just can't say enough about the respect and love I have for Pearl and the life she has shown me. Can't thank you enough, Frieda. for bringing us along. Such a blessing.
The idea of" equality ", that woman need to prove they are equal and the same as men, rather than accept that G-d has CREATED THEM DIFFERENTLY to actually fit different roles in society, has created the biggest chaos in the world....from there it has blossomed into every single kind of immorality known to man. The idea that there is no system to creation and its all about FEELING THIS OR FEELING THAT rather than a coordinated system in nature to serve all of humanity & mankind in different ways...that has brought on our downfall.....as we are right now down that slippery slope of Sodom & GEMORRAH and who knows what else awaits! Men are MEN ..Women are women. They are not equal to anyone or anything. They are different. Just like a lemon is bitter and serves to make things tangy, so is sugar to make things sweet. They dont compete with each other in their role. They serve different purposes. The chicken and the cow dont fight for superiority either. One gives milk and steak, the other lays eggs.and reproduces chickens. They know why they were created. So do we. We dont feel inferior, our job as mothers is a lofty role and experience. Why in the world would I want a mans responsibility when I have mine? It is a PRIVILEGE to be who we are because it is G-ds will that we be THAT.

This woman is a gem for sure. I tell my kids everyday Mother's Day and Father's Day isn't one day of the year, its everyday and I am not of the same religion as Pearl.
You can tell that Pearl is a wonderful woman. She is full of faith, loving, intelligent, composed, and with good answers to these questions. One question I have after viewing this is what are the 7 commandments she mentions for non-Jews? I am a Christian and was always taught 10 commandments. Thank you Frieda, for making your videos. You are a truely gracious and sensitive interviewer. Always learn something new from you. Blessings to all!
Pearl reminds me of how my 88 year old nana describes her mother. Nana was raised orthodox but has been secular her entire adult life. Her mum (my great-grandmother, who died when I was a baby) was orthodox her whole life, but by all descriptions was a very intelligent and learned woman who had plenty of interests in the secular and even non-Jewish world as well.
What a wonderful interview. Frieda is such a loving and wise woman. I am Christian but respect the Jewish faith and admire Frieda so much. God bless both you and Frieda!
@@bibigems she supports mysogyny and she doesn't tell the truth about women and Judaism: what about Deborah, a Judge and a priestess? What about Miriam, a priestess and a leader? Pearl is delightful to listen to-very thoughtful, eloquent, and witty. Her worldview is very different from my own, but her joy in life is clearly evident and offers a nice contrast to the darker stories that come out about/from Hasidic communities. Following on from her perspectives on secular Jews and converts, I would be interested to hear her thoughts on mixed marriages, ie between Jews and non-Jews. I assume it is not something that really occurs within the Satmar community, but I wonder what they think about it.

Thank you for this I love this beautiful ima, woman and her wisdom and transparency! May Hashem continue to bless Jewish Yehudit women with this wisdom and may we walk in it.
I just started watching your videos and now I often find myself pausing just to take in the dynamic here. And I am an evangelical Christian. But I was raised in a divorced family with much trauma. I so appreciate both of your perspectives. At times I wonder why it seems Pearl seems to reluctant to say she and you are similar rebels. But then I appreciate her positivity with regards to her role according to Torah and refusal to complain about it. I did not have a positive maternal mother, so hearing from a wise intelligent religious woman who seems satisfied in her home and family is immensely powerful. I also find you to be fascinating Frieda, and I can’t wait to watch your journey. Thank you!
What a great comment. Thanks, in a way I do feel like Pearl is a rebel. She lives by HER values, not by what people around her do! But she wouldn’t agree I think if I call her that. A very awesome woman.
Pearl should have her own show called, "Pearls of Wisdom." She is so down to earth and calm and rational and kind. More Pearl, please!

@kevinkelly8037 - absolutely. I am Catholic and I’ve thought that very same thing. There’s just something about her….
I am a Christian and I Love this woman. 💛 Pearl is steadfast in her faith in God.
I love how Pearl says she doesn’t have a religion, but a way of life based on Torah. That is a very convicting statement to me as a Christian.
And….this is the religion of Jesus. Jesus was a Torah observing Jew, period. Not a devoted Christian!
People have dogs and cats instead of children
Love these videos. I'm a Christian but I share so many of her ideas. I really love and admire the Jewish ability to be thankful every moment of the day. She is a Pearl of great price.
As an Irish Christian lady who was raised in a Catholic home I thoroughly enjoy these videos! And I always take away at least one if not more Pearls of wisdom! May you always be blessed by God!🙏🏻🕊! Px
I’ve learned a lot about being a good Catholic from Pearl.
I too am Catholic and may not agree with Pearl on a lot but I admire her ability to express her Views and she's so charismatic She's an ideal guest
I am also a cradle catholic and I have Jewish origins in Sefarad (Spain) which always made me drawn to Judaism. Listening to Pearl makes me see the common grounds of our religions and the same God we believe in
Please tell Pearl how much respect & love we have for her! And, she could be a weekly guest & I’d never tire of listening to her!
Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment.
Greetings from Ireland. Pearl is content and happy in her beliefs and shares her wisdom with everyone who wishes to listen. My Catholic faith in God teaches me similiarly to what Pearl is saying now about her beliefs. God bless you all.
Very insightful Conversation, but I'm 47 and didn't want children and didn't have them. I'm fulfilled fully ❤
Thank you!
I’d love a pearl to speak to once twice a week
This moment of pure Jewish grandmother guilt. I felt like I should call my gran after… it was as if she placed the words in Pearls mouth😂
Women who do only what the men dictate are not real whole women. The society is not healthy without empowered women shaping the society.
I’m Jewish, but my husband is Hindu & we got married in court in India. I was presented with a Hindu “ketubah”… it is also a marriage contract & it also has the responsibilities of the husband only. So, I just wanted to throw in there that there are such things in other cultures. ♥️
Interesting and what responsibilities are listed there?
@@n.batshevay.7009 He must provide for her, care for her needs, I especially like where it says, “Provide for her all the comforts” 🥰
“…that she be given all the comforts.”
He hasn’t exactly met that, but he definitely does the things that show he tries.
I love this woman!
No apologies, she stands by her choices, her faith, her views.
I wish Christians would be more like this in the West...
❤️
I could listen to Pearl everyday. It doesn't even bother me that we have differences of belief and values; she just has such security, clarity and piece of mind and such a loving way of expressing it that it's impossible not to pay attention. A lot of division and conflict in this world could be erased we ALL had this ability to communicate with one another.
Thank you Frieda. You handled this Q&A so gentle and so beautifully in such a respectful manner. Some of it is very hard to understand in today’s world especially for me who is torn between a lot of these issues on a personal level. I Love so much what you do ❤
That is so kind.
Wonderful interview with Pearl. Thank you for bringing it to us. I’m fascinated by Hasidism and Judaism and really appreciate your channel. Thanks and keep up the good work!!❤
Thank you so very much. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to bring Pearl to my channel; it's been such a joy!
Thanks, so much, Frieda & Pearl for a wonderful Q&A. I look forward to all your future get togethers.
I think Pearl would be a very successful politician! 😄
Answers questions with questions, gracefully avoids giving direct answers at times, and speaks confidently and eloquently without having to stop and think.
I find all your videos very insightful, and I am learning so much about a culture/religion i knew nothing about until a few weeks ago.
Ha ha!
I'm so excited, I adore, Pearl! She's like a sage, I glean so much wisdom from her.
Thank you and gut shabbes!
You two open up my eyes. Its so interesting to listen to your discussions. You bring me clarity ,knowledge, peace and joy. Thank you!
I really enjoy your Pearl videos. She is full of wisdom. She truly loves her life, family and community
Pearl is back!! Never clicked on a video so fast!
I love how eloquently but also simply she answers the questions. For a woman of not much official schooling I find her extremelly wise, smart, educated and informed.
Pearl is very lovely but she was indoctrinated from birth.
Of course they look down. She is romantacizing everthing. The truth is different
I love your interview with Pearl. What a lovely woman. You can tell she speaks from her heart. Love everything you post!
Brilliant! Such a joy to listen to Pearl's life knowledge. Baruch Hashem.
I love Pearl.
I just found your TH-cam and the Hasidic world is fascinating.
Your reporting is thorough, no drama, just the facts.
Thank you.
Thank you to both Pearl and Frieda.
Aww, I'm glad to hear Pearl share such wisdom. She actually answered a question I was asking the Lord in prayer. Please share more Mrs. Pearl!
Pearl is so lovely and eloquent. I truly enjoy listening to her, it’s like getting a big hug.
I so agree with Pearl I dedicated myself to raising our son. I really love your interviews with her she’s a gem.
Thank you
She is awesome, she knows the truth of Hashem and knows how to share it beautifully.
The world loves you Pearl. ❤ I my heart and in my nashema I have adopted you as my hasidish Bubbeh. Warm greetings from Canada
The more Peal explains things, the more I love her!!!! ThankYou!!!!!!!
It is soothing to listen to Pearl! Thank you Frieda for this conversation!
I absolutely love Pearl.
I support anyone who wants to live there own lives with good morals and values no matter what religion you may be. ❤
25:13 the love in pearl‘s eyes when she looks at Freida when she says are you kidding her face like a grandmother greeting their grandchild my heart is warm I was raised christian I would love to be able to have tea with pearl. She’s wonderful. I get excited when a video comes up with Pearl in it. She’s so full of love and wisdom.
I’m looking forward to watching Pearl telling it the way it is 😂 I grew up in Williamsburg, Bklyn, too My great great grandfather was a rabbi in Spain and his boys moved to NY. Yes, they wore pious Can’t wait to hear interesting questions I’m in 😂😂 Saludos from New Tampa,Florida ❤ Pearl is so right! Train the mind to thank Hashem ❤
Quite a bit of Pearl's wisdom resonates with me as a Sabbath keeping Christian with an Agnostic adult child.
More then the vast wisdom of Pearl, I love seeing your love for another, immense respect and kindness you show in every conversation. What a gain for both of you!
I'm very grateful for these interviews; thank you, dear Pearl and dear Frieda 🙏
I would LOVE more Pearl! She has such a depth and breadth of wisdom to share with the world. A beautiful woman to look up to ❤
Frieda - Love your channel ✅ Thank you for bringing Pearl back she’s a wise woman. 😊
This woman is a gem for sure. I tell my kids everyday Mother's Day and Father's Day isn't one day of the year, its everyday and I am not of the same religion as Pearl.
She’s absolutely delightful!
I love listening to Pearl’s wisdom, and I’m a 69 year old Christian.
I can’t get enough of Pearl. Such wisdom, emuna & pure joy.
By far the best channel on this subject.
A great and fascinating woman.
A fixed Mother's Day is for people who tend to forget they have a mother.
Freida is a lovely woman. She really is.
@@bibigems she supports mysogyny and she doesn't tell the truth about women and Judaism: what about Deborah, a Judge and a priestess? What about Miriam, a priestess and a leader? Also: in no place in the entire old testament it says that women shall cover the body or the head, nor that there are jobs for women and for men. Also the1st woman out of the rib of the 1st human = Adam, it is a Christians Greek typo. The word Sela in the whole old testement means "side", not "ribe"
Dear, I think you meant Pearl. :)
@@FriedaVizelBrooklyn Hi Frieda, I really like your videos and your extremely edifying videos on the Hassidic community. You are so impressive and yes I agree Pearl is a lovely lady. Will you be accepting more questions to ask her from your viewers? Thank you for your channel.
@@FriedaVizelBrooklyn yes I did mean Pearl but you are also very lovely and I admire and appreciate you as well, so saying Frieda was not such a bad mistake to make. 🥰
Our very favorite collab, we're ready!
Pearl is simply a gem! I love love love her….the candour, the wisdom, the faith, humanity and humour. I could listen to her all day….beautifully handled Frieda too.
Wonderful to hear you both in conversation. Happy Tu B'Av!
I just love the way pearl saying it like it is with no guilt or apology for us being Jewish for that. I just love it and I gave her. ישר כוח ❤
Frida, your conversations with Pearl are so enlightening and enjoyable. How awesome to be welcomed in and for us to meet this amazing woman! Thank you! I am finding my way back to my roots in Judaism after growing up secular and basically having all sense of it scrubbed from my life. So these insights that are freely shared, frank honest answers that are given, and this peek into the mysterious and special people who I am a part of is the best!
I LOVE these interviews, I learns so much and feel so lucky to be able to listen
❤️
As a mom of 5 , I appreciate the way Pearl describes the role of the mother in a family. I’ve really enjoyed listening to Pearls insights! Thanks Frieda
Frieda you are an amazing person!
Everyone needs a Pearl in her life! Even though I am personally Catholic, I greatly enjoy her wisdom and wish I had a "Pearl" to talk to!
Absolutely. Same here… She reminds me of my Auntie from Rhode Island.
Thank you SO MUCH! I find myself in tears listening to Pearl. You are a wonderful interviewer ☺️
I am 74 and not Jewish. I am from the U.S. and live in Mexico. I just found your site and have watched 4 videos with Pearl this morning. I love her so much! I am learning so much! I love her wisdom, and what I am learning about Hasidic Jews. It is far too late for me to convert, however just this morning's time spent with Pearl makes me think I would have been happy living life as a woman the way Pearl depicts it. Please please please give us more of Pearl!
The history, the wisdom, the language- I'm so grateful to learn so much on your channel and from Ms Pearl. Thank you so much, Frieda! Your channel is such a gift.
Last night I saw the first Pearl video not necessarily the first one that you did but the first one that came up on my TH-cam and I was so struck by her, her wisdom, her love her love for Hashim, and then I dreamt about that. I dreamt that I had gone to Shul. I was there for some event I don’t know if it was for the service or what but I was there and it was so meaningful to me. I am just grateful for Pearl. I certainly wish that I’d had a mother like her so if you are still in communication with her two or three one or two times a week, please tell her how much I appreciate her participating in these videosAnd I thank her so much for her wisdom.
Oh I love that you get to spend time with Pearl and share it with us. More Pearl Please!!! Can you plan a Channuka special episode for later this year with Pearl?please? 😊😊😊 ooohhhh I just love her ❤❤❤
Thank you for this I love this beautiful ima, woman and her wisdom and transparency! May Hashem continue to bless Jewish Yehudit women with this wisdom and may we walk in it.
Pearl is such a gift! I appreciate her perspective.
