Thank you. I've had my clippers for 2 years and put them away because the blades weren't sharp. Following your tutorial gave me the sharpness I needed.
My brother got these and was cleaning them but the black thing that holds the smaller blade popped out from the spring and i cant get it to go back on and stay. Any help is appreciated
What I do is I tighten up both screws enough that the blade is fixed but also adjustable when you put force. I align the blade straight and hold it as tight as possible with my hand and then screw the bolts in completely.
Hey bro! I tried zero gapping my clippers but now whenever i open my lever, it cuts at like a 3-4mm length. Do you experience this as well? And is there anything i can do to fix this?
Hi zero gapping does not neccessarly mean the blades are completely closed off together. It should give off some spacing between the top and bottom blade.
Are these clippers actually good? I feel like all of the negative reviews on Amazon tell a different story. Some said it only lasts 2 months and others said it stopped charging..
Jo wassup I have the same trimmer. One question tho is 0 gap supposed to remove/cut all beard hair ? I saw an crazy add on Instagram with the babyliss where they cut beards and shit directly to 0 and bring it into perfect shade. Sadly after I 0 Gapped my trimmer it doesn’t really cut all hair to 0 could Someone with experience explain that to me ?
how about you go to the lowest rated barber from your city and do a little review of the cut? (maybe as an idea). You said that no other barber has touched your hair in years.
Do you recommend doing this? What is the benefits of this? Isnt it make the gurad become shorter? Like after doing this the 2 gurad will become like the 1 guard?
Yes I recommend zero gapping because when you create an initial guideline whether with a trimmer or no guard lever closed, zero gapped clippers can take out the line much more easily and clean.

gotta be embarrassing for a woman to comment here
@masaomimusic995 there's no embarrassment on my end. Have a good day!
Yooo you’re a lifesaver….thank you brother

Do your clippers get loud when the guard is on and the lever is closed?
Yes. I think it's because the bottom blade is hitting the side of guard. I usually open up the lever little bit if it's too loud
Thank God someone pointed this out. Cause my clipper gets loud when I put on the guards with the lever fully closed
@@justadudewithsunglasses6798 just open it up a little
Link for replacement blades?
I tried to zero gap and one side always gets higher than another when I tight the screws

My blade has even spacing when I screw it in but with use, becomes diagonal. Any idea what the problem might be?
Clipper oil
Yo man I tried to do that on my 1986 and when I'm screwing it back I have a gap between the blade and the actual clipper can you help?..
yo did u figure out how to fix this?
Does the ceramic blade cuts sharper on this clipper? Or is it better to keep it stock?
Hey I actually ordered ceramic blade. Im gonna make a video on comparison so ill find out soon!
@@DuckBarberMHK did u ever put out the video ? I couldn’t find it
How about VGR V-032? Is it the same way to Zero Gap?
When you know how to work with corners you never have to zero gap ever again
facts. Corner work is important
Then how do u take out the skin line ?
Damn. Do a tutorial video on how to work with corners. Please!!
Probably the only time in life you can “cut corners “ ;)

For some reason mines won't zerp gap.
Bro, what's the difference between 1986 and 1986z?
I have never heard of 1986z. I might check it out
I have the same question, couldn't find any answers..
Does it produce a loud noise when closing with a 1 or half guard?
Not woth #1 but with #2 yes
0.5-1.0mm in manual
👍👍👍
I’m between a 87 and a 84. Which would you recommend??
84 has a battery indicator but I have never tried them yet. 1987 one is great tho!
I accidentally took off the black part and I can’t put it back on can you help ?
i can help

I;ve been using this trimmer for almost a year now, but it's going strong and cuts still sharp fam
@@DuckBarberMHK hmm probably fake reviews huh?
Will it cut 0,0 mm ? :D
Bro I think this will be 0,2 mm
Who is good kemei 1986 or 1987?
86 has the display panel while this one doesn't I guess thats the only difference
@@DuckBarberMHK the cutting blade start with 1mm and goes at 3mm or 0,8 and 2,5 and the wlrk time with full battery is 90 min or 300

Zero gapped is meant to take off as close to bald, but not quite. If you want to bald it out, I recommend using a foil shaver

That's actually a lit idea. Imma go to barber and see how they can fuuuuk it up

its jz d same gap befor and after screwing..
This was the demonstration purposes
Why the 87 over 86? 86 is the best clipper Kemei makes.
I think the only difference is the display panel no?
@@DuckBarberMHK I think the motor and blades are different on them. Could be wrong... who really knows.
@@Kaiser187 Interesting. Maybe I can buy the other one so that I can compare both.
@@DuckBarberMHKThat would be good. Just gotta make sure its the original model and not the pro.
Where did you buy your blades??
I bought it off of wish.com
You can also find it on Amazon I believe
Ia this working? Can destroy the machine?
No it won't destroy machine!!
