I love how you rescue unwanted hives and explain what you're doing. After watching several of your videos, I started getting suggestions of other beekeepers who rescue hives. I started watching them and found that I like your technique more. It seems gentler, less invasive, and more respective than the others I have watched.

Iv been attacked by bees on a few occasions and by some particularly unhappy hornets once , due to my job I come across them sometimes,so iv developed a bit of a fear ,we have wasps here in Tasmania, one is not native to here yellow and black striped ones I think they might be from Spain .
@@Nick-rr5cy the wasps we have here in Scotland are yellow and black and man!! they are so angry always looking for a fight!! 😮 there’s an old saying here for someone who continually pisses you off for no reason and it’s “they’re like a wasp at a picnic!!” 😂
I caught my first swarm yesterday! I watched an hour of your videos to prepare myself. I even scooped a few handfuls! Thanks to you I got over my fear and helped save the bees ❤
I grew up terrified of bees. Watching you save colony after colony, and being so respectful of everything about bees, has completely changed my mind about them. Thank you for saving the bees. After finding you, I’ve watched a bunch of bee vids. You are my favorite. So calm and kind. ❤
Thank you for revealing your philosophy and techniques. Your work crosses the line into artistry. I never get tired of watching you remove bees and save them.

This is the only channel I’ve seen where you treat the bees as colleagues or even pets vs livestock. For example, you use exactly as much smoke as needed rather than drenching them in it.
you are awesome bee lady. I have always been intrigued by bees. last fall i was camping and a bee (yellow jacket) came in, so I put a bit of honey on the edge of my cupboard and the bee went right to it. Soon he (?) left but returned and all day he made a dozen trips. It was getting colder and I bet He was a hero when he showed up at the hive lol the next day it was back , and had a couple buddies in tow. As I would dab the honey on the cupboard they would excitedly gather some up , hover at the door of my camper, I let them out , they would leave for 15 minutes or so, then there they would be, hovering outside the door ready for another load. this happened for the next couple days, until snow fell. I videoed them landing on my honey-covered fingertip and doing the little vibration dance , as if to thank me. It was relaxing and I enjoyed watching them. and providing the last treat of the summer
I just strongly admire your work ethic and philosophy on removing hives and love your utmost respect towards bees. I get nervous around bees and basically any bug, lol. Even hearing the buzzing sounds in your videos makes my neck hair rise and skin crawl, but my views on bees have changed thanks to your videos. I'm so fascinated by bees now and had no idea the real function of honey for the hive until watching your videos. I'm grateful for the delicious honey in my pantry and will be a more conscientious buyer the next time I'm shopping for honey.
