Amazing! Erica, you are one of those amazing souls with care and custody for the smallest of creatures which I am confident extends to the largest of creatures. Well done!
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment. I just want to leave the world a better place than I found. After all, that’s what bees do, and that’s probably my favorite thing about them.
How absolutely stunning to witness how you work with bees. I had a life-long fear of stinging insects until a few years ago when I forced myself to sit amongst the flowers of a hedge that was frequented by loads of bees. I thought that was pretty special to finally understand that as long as I didn't bother them, they wouldn't bother me and, frankly, they didn't care how close I looked in on them gathering their nectar. I think you saved whole lot of more bees by educating the public and spreading knowledge about bee behaviours, so people are less afraid of bees and more appreciate of bees
Great video. You seem to be so in tune with them. I love the fact you move all their comb and don't just grab it for honey extraction. Thank you for working with and helping the bees, we need them so badly.
Most of those combs did not have much honey but lots of eggs and larvae, one does does not place those in the extractor (a centrifuge) as it will destroy them. The honey combs are located at the upper lever of a hive, în smaller frames, where been instinctual lu deposit only honey. The queen lays eggs deep into the hive.
I would have just picked up the trashed toilet and taken that with me. It made an excellent hive. Lol. She always does and good job and has a comforting voice.
You're doing a lot to save bees, these little humble creatures are the best, they pollinate our fruit trees and grain plants, provide energy dense and complete form of food, Honey. Your soul is so special. I never liked bees till I was educated by your channel. Now I put sugar water out for them away from where we sit outside, and they never bother us. They do occasionally get the liquid from the hummingbird feeder, but when the birds arrive they leave.

Stumbled across this channel after a random TH-cam short. I never thought a channel on bee removal would be something I wanted to watch but apparently it is.
Seems to me that a toilet, fitted with frames in the tank would be a good durable weatherproof hive. It would be funny to have a collection of vintage toilets, pink, blue, coral colored in your yard. 😊
I really enjoy your videos. They are always educational and fascinating. Your handling of the bees is a wonderful thing to see. You’re so careful and respectful of them I guess that’s why the don’t sting you. Thanks for sharing.

I come around the Beehive, I notice that they just want to stay, and I know we are on a way, but then I come back about an hour later, and they come back stinging me, crazy when I come back home, and I am so mad at the beach, but at least I had to see what you do. I look at some of the home and it was relaxing until they start stinging me again.
I'm surprised you didn't plug the hole & relocate. Then take time to rebuild at home. It's funny how they just through the toilet out behind the shed like that. At least sitting outside that long disinfected it.
