The upshifts were executed just as I would. The progressive downshifts as you slowed down were a novelty though. I always slow down in the gear as I was in at the start of the braking event then engage the needed gear when I subsequently accelerate after slowing or stopping. Learned something new today after 20 years of driving manuals.
