What an interesting property! I’ve seen a few videos of water tower conversions from the States, but not so much the UK…maybe one a good few years back. Anyway, the only room I wasn’t keen on was the master bedroom (not it’s bathroom, that was great!) just didn’t like the styling of the bed or the light fitting above it. While my favorite room, was the brick bathroom on the ground floor, which was very nice and characterful.
Congrats to Rob! He did an amazing job.....love the tower. One question: is the door to the "black bathroom" black from the inside and white from the outside?

Not sure - I can 100% appreciate the uniqueness and impressive style of the property; it really does have the 'WOW Factor'. However, it feels too impersonal and too much like a show home to me - where are the personal touches that show the characters of the people living there?
@@porttastic Maybe but a water tower conversion in certain London (4500 sqft) and costs 2+ mill in renovations on Grand Designs sold for 2.75 mill in 2021. For a smaller water tower in an isolated part of Devon far from the sea... it might be worth around the mill mark, maybe a bit less. Don't forget he isn't a certified builder so when selling, getting a mortgage on that will be tricky.

Can you say "extravagant"? A bit over the top. Not exactly what I would do with 2 million pounds. More contemporary would be my style. Think about the future of living in this space.
What a perfect way to repurpose and refurbish an old water tower! We need more people like Rob who aren't afraid of pursuing a vision. Magnificent!
