In the past 4-5 months I am using the 1.20 Poly Tour Fire in my Vcore 95 (2021), and I really enjoy it. I am not planning to replace either of them in the near future.

Been using poly tour spin for a few months in my v core pro 97 and love it. Strung at 49 tension. Agreed on tension maintenance. Was gona try Rev but didn’t love the colour

Polytour Strike is a great string, but after an hour of play, if you are a hard hitter, the tension drops significantly. I use it in my Babolat Pure Strikes strung at 51lbs on a constant pull machine.

Didn't do Poly Tour Drive. I tried full string Poly Spin, and the strings are too slidy so you would have to mix with another to actually get the spin intended. Drive is pretty good for spin, it's shaped as well, but less slippy so you can have it in both directions, or what I have found with the Yonex Percept 100 at 48 tension. Remember these strings can behave drastically different depending on tension and string spacing, not mentioning those makes pretty much most string reviews a bit pointless.

I think strike and the polytour pro the best in the yonex line. Do you suggest strike with a lower tension or the ypt with a higher tension?

They also make REV in GREEN. I've never heard anyone compare it to the other colors... if it's any softer, firmer, etc. Anyone compared the Green?
My stringer only has it in white and green currently. I've heard some bad about the white, but I've never heard anything at all about the green color Rev strings.

Poly Tour Air or Lynx Touch?
I use Lynx Touch, Great on arm & decent control & Tension maintenance but less spin and in crucial points balls have sailed longer.
How is Poly Tour Air compared to that?
    I am using Yonex VCORE 98 2023

👋 That’s interesting. What racquet and what tension were you using? I used it on the VCore Pro 97 HD at 50 lbs and thought that the pocketing, control, and tension maintenance were superb. I play where the humidity is really low.

    • @BSTennis

hi... i would like to ask how is poly tour fire to combine as hybrid with shape rounded string like poly tour spin or the new one from yonex poly tour drive.. I would like to try that combination and where do you sugest po put on poly fire I mean on main or cross...And what tensions do you sugest for each strings.. I will probably go with fire and the new one poly tour drive.

Hello Harry, an avid watcher.. I have question. My son is 9 year old and breaking 16 gauge synthetic gut, multifilament strings in a week. Can you recommend main string for him. Playing style - Full stroke, lot of topspin ( under 12 competitive player) Racquet - 26 inches ( aero pure) previously vcore (16x18)
