Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Home Free. The more you react to them, the more Home Fries (fans) will come running to comment, like and subscribe. We are VERY loyal fans of theirs. Their ability to make a cover their own (and write and sing their own originals also) is second to none. Famous artists such as Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama, Lee Greenwood, and Don McLean have contacted Home Free to do music with them, which tells you something... The first man to sing is Tim Foust, their bass. He's got an insane range. Last year he cut his hair short and let the gray show. Makes him look a bit different, it does. Second man to sing is Adam Chance, their baritone/bass. Goes by "Chance". Such a smooth voice. Third man to sing is Rob Lundquist, their tenor. Silky voice and can really make it gritty and bluesy when he wants. The other singer who didn't have a solo here is Austin Brown, their high tenor. Boy can belt those high notes! (and yes I know he's like 34 but looks 17 to me). Then there's the beatboxer, Adam Rupp. That's the one who was tapping the beat on his chest. He didn't have a lot of work in this song but you'll hear his skills in other songs and be amazed.
I just subscribed!! Welcome to HOME FREE HOME FREE is a county A Capella band that does more than just country. Tim Foust, the bass (5 octave range) , Adam Rupp, the beatboxer (freak of nature), Adam Chance (Chance) is the baritone/bass, since 2016, he took over for Chris Rupp (one of the founders of the group), Rob Lundquist, tenor and Austin Browm high tenor make up the voices of angels. PLEASE listen to more.. If I know my Home Free family well (Home Fries) , they have already given you suggestions of music. LOL Thanks for the reaction
Solid Home Fry here. The more Home Free you react to, the more of us that will find you .... Trust me!!! Our guys can do it all. WE even get blown away at times, even after all we've already seen / heard them do. How do they do it? Easy .... 5 guys which include: 5 Tenors 5 who can beatbox when needed 5 who can Riff and Slide all over the place with their voices 3 Baritones (that we know of, they do still continue to surprise us) 2 Basses 1 Basso Profundo 1 who is can go almost as low as the above (in fact, is often put up against him in Bass Challenges along with Avi Kaplan, Geoff Castellucci and Tim Foust (the Basso Profundo in Home Free) 1 World Class beatboxer (affectionately called the 'Freak of Nature') ... are you starting to see why they have so many fans all over the World? You asked for songs .... Basically, you won't go wrong with ANY of their songs. It just depends on what you're wanting to feel / hear at the moment. Some of the best, encompassing a wide array of emotions and genres, are: Helplessly Hoping, Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art, Ring of Fire (both versions are great), Misty Mountains, Go Rest High On That Mountain, Travelin' Soldier, Do You Hear What I Hear, Butts Remix, Hillbilly Bone, Man of Constant Sorrows, Country Roads, Elvira, American Pie, Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, Honey I'm Good, Sea Shanty Medley, When a Man Loves a Woman, Seven Bridges Road, Crazy ....the list just goes on and on. You will get a lot of suggestions for Mayday -- please, please, PLEASE don't do it until after you can put a name to the faces and voices, and your can close your eyes and picture exactly who is singing at any time. It's worth the wait, I guarantee it. Don't get me wrong, the song is incredibly amazing on its own (they sing it in the same key as Cam did), but we ALWAYS know when Reactors choose it too soon on their journey. Always. Another suggestion on a song -- should you choose to do Guilty Pleasures Derailed, don't bother trying to critique the songs. Just buckle up for the ride and hold on -- it's called'Derailed' for a reason, lol Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, really is a MASTER at his craft. You'll swear he not only swallowed a full drum kit and it became a part of his DNA (you can even find videos of his 'drum' solos, where he does them while the others are resting their vocal chords during their concerts -- then continues to perform his beatboxing just as strongly throughout the rest of the show as he did the FIRST part). You'll also start wondering, like we do, what other instruments he's been snacking on lately, because the man truly is a One Man Band (which is another song I suggest you do at some point, lol). Did I forget to mention that Adam also has a pure, clear Tenor voice and can Harmonize just as well as the others, when he chooses to sing? The band was started around 2000 if I remember right, by Chris and Adam Rupp. When Chris left to start singing with their sister (yes, the entire family has a ton of musical ability) and go on to a solo career, he hand picked Adam Chance (just called Chance to avoid confusion) to take his place. Fantastic choice!! Anyway, that's a lot, I know, but hopefully it gives you a feel for our guys. There are so many OTHER songs I could recommend, but I'll leave them for other Home Fries to mention ;)
Check out Home Free's "End of the Road" for an amazing Boys to Men cover. "The Butts Remix" for fun. "How Great Thou Art" for a spiritual lift. "Adam Rupp's Drum Solo" for just how good beat boxing can be. Other great songs are "Blue Aint Your Color", "When a Man Loves a Woman", "Folsom Prison Blues", and they have many others.
Hello Nigel, I'm a sub now to hear more reactions to Home Free. You have entered into a deep rabbit hole of musical greatness. They are the only known, or well known, country acapella band. Hoever they don't just sing covers or country...they can & do sing all genre's....they also don't take themselves too seriously, they love to have fun too - they can be ver goofy - the just did a cover a few weeks ago of Rick Astley's 1987 classic "Never gonna give you up" and they filmed with a filter that looks 1980's they are dressed like Astley & it's just them having fun, but the music doesn't suffer...it's crisp and incredible. They also have done an incredible version of Boyz2Men's "Enf of the Road" Rob get's his R&B soul on.....you'll learn to love them...also HIGHLY reccomember an original by them, DIVE BAR SAINTS...was written especially for them...it's pretty, Chance leads & it's a great 420 type feel to it !!!
Great reaction. These guys are great. You can't go wrong reacting to Home Free. My 2 favorite groups is Home Free because they are acapella group and 4th Impact from the Philippines because of their great harmonies.
My favourite song by Home Free is all of them, because I simply keep changing my mind depending on which song is playing and my mood. New sub, c ready to follow you down the rabbit hole. By the look on your eyes you see heading that way. Loved the reaction! Thank you!
Wow😯I think that was the best reaction to a music video I've seen. Just to be able to watch your facial expressions as they took you on a journey of discovery and delight. Your eyes are so expressive💫🌟. Thank you for this. First time landing on your channel and am off to check out more from you🎶👏🙌✌️🌻
This is my favorite song and the 1st song i'd ever heard by them. I went down that rabbit hole and I love them. This song means so much to me. thank you.
New sub! I found you because of Home Free! I love you, because your reaction to this song was so genuine! I just want to hug you tight, you're so precious! Thank you! Can't wait for more!
home free--- end of the road=R&B, take me home=country/folk and imo best harmonies, blue ain;t your color=motown, the butts remix=everything and hilarious, man of constant sorrow=folk/bluegrass and amazing, amazing grace=gospel, sea shanty medley= well, sea shantys, you can;t go wrong with any of their songs, ring of fire has avi singing with them. btw you have the best smile!
Just subscribed! So excited to see your journey into Home Free! Love seeing someone new to them. There is just no one else like them! You wont be disappointed.
There are soooo many great songs to choose from with Home Free! A few of my favorites are Blue Ain't Your Color, Helplessly Hoping, All About That Bass, Hillbilly Bone, Everybody Walkin This Land, Elvira with the Oak Ridge Boys, God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood and the Airforce Band. There are really no bad songs from these guys. Thanks for a great reaction! We Home Fries love to see new reactors fall in love with our guys! ❤
Avi joined them for Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" which is pretty dope (kind of a fun bass throw down.) Like PTX, pick anything, it may or may not suit your style but it will be amazing. Peter Hollens and Tim Foust (Bass, 1st singer in this song) did Misty Mountains from the Hobbit. All human voice, 126 some odd layers (Peter's specialty), 2 - count them - 2 voices with astounding ranges. Crazy good. ("Misty Mountains - Peter Hollens feat. Tim Foust")
Yeah! You now have 2 of my 3 favorite groups. Need to add in some Voiceplay and you would have, imo, the trifecta of the best acapella groups. I am a big fan of all 3. Any of Home Free's songs are good, but be prepared some of them will get the tears going. Some of those tears will be because you are laughing that hard at some of their silliness and some will be because they can kill it with the serious songs. They love to have a good time but it doesn't mess with the music, usually. The do sometimes crack themselves up in the live shows.
Great reaction Nigel and I subscribed. Home Free is the real deal. They won the NBC show the Sing Off in 2013 the year after Pentatonix won. They are a country “a cappella” band but they sing all genres of music. Tim who started the song is the bass. He has a 5 octave range. They all sing lead depending on the song. I discovered them during the pandemic and fell in love. They also have a great sense of humor and aren’t afraid to be silly while sounding good. To hear more great harmonies try Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, What We Ain’t Got, I Can’t Outrun You. For fun try Sea Shanty Medley, Country Fried Pop Medley.
New sub for more Home Free! I hope Hillbilly Bone is on your list! And Sea Shanty Medley, and Butts Remix... And many many more! I like the fun songs! Hearing your request for the more moving ones, however, here are a few: Country Roads How Great Thou Art Go Rest High on that Mountain Helplessly Hoping Seven Bridges Road
New sub from Minnesota, where Home Free started. All the suggestions are good. All I can add is that you could open their video page, close your eyes, and click. Not one clunker.
My favorite home free? When a man loves a woman. I know it will get played at some point. I'm subbing for it also. .... plus anything else home free. I'm in this for the ride
They have tremendous harmonies. I'd love to see you react to more from Home Free! I can't pick one favorite, but a fun one is "Butts Remix"& "Sea Shanty Medley", and of course you have to check out "Man Of Constant Sorrow" and "Country Roads", these are a few of my favorites, but I like pretty much everything they have done and I don't think you can pick a bad one.
Loved your reaction so much, I just subbed in hopes of hearing more Home Free reactions. These guys are all so amazingly talented. There is no lead, they all take turns, depending on the song and the kind of voice needed for that particular project. They are referred to as a Country A Capella Vocal Band, but they do all genre's. Check out their Blue Sin't Your Color ( w/ a Motown sound), Butt's Medley that have you laughing so hard, or maybe their cover of Boyz ll Men's End Of The Road.
New subscriber, looking forward to watching you enjoy home free. They literally don't have a bad song, you could pick with your eyes closed and love whatever it is.
Hey, you found my 2nd favourite band too! (The other one is Nightwish) Home Free are a bunch of crazy talented guys who all can sing lead except for the amazing beatboxer. Sea shanty medley is a good choice
Home Free is amazing. As hard as it is to pick one song, I'd say my favorite is Love Train. But, if you want more Country music, check out their version of, Take Me Home Country Roads. Very nice reaction.
Greetings from a danish fry / new sub just a friendly warning when you say that you like our guys the fries will come running , we are a very loyal and respectful fan base , so welcome to a deep rabbit hole . Love from Denmark
Ooo... You are going to love Helplessly Hoping and Do You Hear What I Hear. Just subbed for your Home Free reactions. Loved your reaction to this. You really respond to the voice qualities. I always say HF is the one a capella group that can make a capella sound even more a capella. They just have this way of dropping out the beatboxing or percussions and then those harmonies slay you. They are country a capella, but they do many genres and moods. Oh and they can all sing lead, beatbox and do percussion. The beatboxer has a beautiful voice, but he is the only one that rarely sings solo. You better take your vitamins, because these guys are addictive. I can suggest more than a 130 titles for you to react to, but I suggest you start with the older videos first like the ones I suggested. Oh and please sub to their page. Till next time.
Subbing now , love Home Free and there's going to be a lot of great recommendations but I am adding Helplessly Hoping to the list.....five part perfection
New sub, came for the Homefree reaction. And hopefully more Homefree reactions!!! Check out their cover of "Cover me up" it is amazing and also soothing. Thank you for your reaction! Us Homefries ( Homefree fans) appreciate it!! Welcome to your Homefree journey!
New sub here. You have opened Pandora's box. You'll be a Home Fry before you know it. They do stuff for every mood you're in and many genres, not just country. But they are the ONLY country acapella group in the country.
Here's a specific link to one of Home Free's most fun. The group has had at least one serious lineup change, and the link is to a song with one of the founding brothers who is no longer with them. "In the Blood" featured their newest member who replaced the former. th-cam.com/video/IA0WCc3vTls/w-d-xo.html
New sub here. Their music is food for the soul. They also do funny...when you need a pick me up. They do most any genre, to satisfy just about anyone. There are over 140+ videos here on TH-cam! Check out their list....it’s Great !!! “WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN” is awesome ! You want crazy fun...”THE BUTTS REMIX MEDELY”....great for a laugh !!!
They have a bunch of great covers, many of them better than the originals. It you want a fun original from them try Champagne Taste. Many fans will insist that you watch Mayday as one of their most impressive covers. Do not do so. If you watch Mayday too soon you won't be as impressed as you should. At least watch Some Girls Do, Die a Happy Man, and Auld Lang Syne to get a good handle on each singers place in the harmony of the group. Then you will be impressed with Mayday.
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Home Free. The more you react to them, the more Home Fries (fans) will come running to comment, like and subscribe. We are VERY loyal fans of theirs.

more to come, thanks so much or watching with me and for subbing!
My favorite is Alde Lang Syne, but everything they do is amazing. For July 4, do their Lee Greenwood God Bless the USA.
Home Fries will be following your channel as they love reaction videos. 😄
Be prepared. Man of Constant Sorrow, written in 1913. New sub here

To hear their excellent harmony, check out their cover of Take Me Home Country Road. You will love!! New subscriber because if Home Free.
Till next time.
ty for sharing and for watching with me!

New sub here. You have opened Pandora's box. You'll be a Home Fry before you know it. They do stuff for every mood you're in and many genres, not just country. But they are the ONLY country acapella group in the country.

Just subbed... love Home Free!! For more country style, check out their cover of Folsom Prison Blues! Great reaction!

“WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN” is awesome ! You want crazy fun...”THE BUTTS REMIX MEDELY”....great for a laugh !!!
Anything you do from home free is amazing ... Try amazing grace with Peter Holland and how great thou art ,, and try everything
ty for watching with me!
I just subbed for more Home Free! Check out their cover of Some Girls Do...you will enjoy it!
ty for watching with me!
