Picture this a newly wed couple his mother and youngest brother, venturing up to a town on Bokor mountain here in Cambodia, the reason? to spend a night in a hotel. An ordinary trip some would think, but this is no ordinary hotel. Bokor Palace a hotel built by the french in the turn of the 20th century has seen its fair share of dark times, from housing french elites to becoming a slaughter house for the notorious Khmer Rouge Regime. Its walls if could talk would tell horrific tales that Stephen King couldn’t even come up with on his best day, the evil presence inside would be too much for even Satan to stomach. Sit back, Relax and watch as this family attempts to sleep a night……..in the twilight zone…..

It is an honor for u to visit my country and kopot is on the top of my list to explore even thougth i already went there and the hotel ur staying at use to be very old and smell like blood so they decide to rebuild it .
Thanks for the video..after watching it I was curious about Bokor Hill ..being a Cambodian who's never known the lands..I'm always curious if it's history.
I was there in the 60's. Very very cosy place. cool temperature and fresh. beautiful nature surrounding. Went back in 2019. What a disappointment.
I stopped by this hotel in December 2017 during the renovation. It was about to finish the construction. Then, I went into the small one that was abandoned. I walked inside and very amazed how thick is the wall. The construction in the old day is very solid foundation. The wall is about 2 feet thick. I believe only your family stays in that hotel and it is kind of over price for hotel in Cambodia. I once stayed in Hyatt hotel in Georgia. It costs only $200 a night. I won't stay there if I will be in Cambodia. For Borkor casino, I walked in for 10 minutes and walked out. The workers in Casino were not pleasant. They might treat me different because I'm one of them. I didn't spend a penny in that casino since I'm not a gambler. I don't believe Khmer government gave Kos Tral island to Vietnam. You can see it very clearly from Kom Pot. You can swim to that island. We need to claim it back because it is belong to Cambodia, not Vietnam. Cambodia pilot landed their planes in that island during civil war in 1970.
Interesting fact about the Island. I should visit there.
Before developing this hill , they said they saw Frence ghost with civil office uniform , this place also the palace of king Sisowath monivong . Frence like this place during calony because it is cool weather and fog . Recently it s totaly developed but some place they keep because ....

i remember when it was just a shell and they let tourists go up to the roof. good thing i saw this, otherwise i would have just went there thinking it was empty. the views are nice.

For real! One king name Sisowath Monivong died up there at le bokor palace hotel,cause of heart attack. That France give Khmer land to Thai. for me I think there are no haunted,but for you said I don’t know too.

No we spent 300 the most expensive room was 2000. That being said; the "view" in anaheim california isnt even compareable to that of Bokors.
