All the space marine we saw here is the remaining forces of the 2nd Company. According to the Codex, each company has 100 battle-brothers divined into 10 squad, vehicles depending on the strategy each company prefered, and the rest are specialized marines of the Command-squad, Liberians, Apothecary, Chaplain, Tech-marine. In this sceen alone, there are 8 out of 6 squad at the hanger listening to Cpt.Acheran's, he would personally lead the Command-squad which has the Vixtric guards, one carried the 2nd Company Banner. Counting all the ultramarine around Titus would gave us a 7th squad, and Titus own squad would be 8th. Minus all the Ultramarine that was K.I.A earlier in the campain, we are witnessing roughly +80 marine thats about to be deployed with the few Guardsman the Cadian 8th can spared to fought against thousand of Cultist, hundred of Thousand Son's marines with some 4 Hellbrute's and couple Helldrake's and an endless horde of Tzeentch Daemones. Truly, if Marneus Calgar didnt recived Titus call for aid and arrived with the 1st Veteran Company in time, it would had been a massacre just as he said.
Well, in Era Indomitus squad structure of a company became a bit more rigid than it was before, thanks to big G's reforms. As an in-game example, veteran serg. Varellus (who died by a bomb in a temple) has XII tactical squad markings on his shoulderpart. 2nd company may operate on demi-squad basis at this field, given that we rarely (if ever) see more than 5 marines in a squad outside of Demerium (during first mission, when Lt. Titus is joined by "full" 6th squad of 5 men". Other times its usually 2-4 on the bg). Its not something against your notion, just a noteworthy addendum. Plus, if I rememeber 40klore subreddit correctly, there are like 2 dozen dead marine bodies visually found on Tyranid missions overall, so, most likely there are elements of reserve companies given for that campaign
@@uhbyr1you mean more flexible? Saying rigid means they've become less adaptable. Also their squad marking according to the Codex seems to go as up as 20.
sorry but he dont sound like a space marine in the first place, much less a space marine captain, im like how can you respect a captain with a voice that funny come on...
Glad he could spare the men to listen
That Prospero line was so damn foul like he did not need to say all that
Incroyable.

The burning of Prospero was tragic, it was basically a blue on blue action because of Horus' deception.
The Thousand Sons were loyal.

Hating on the badass Scottish accent of Acheran, yeah I’m leaving this comment so that anyone who reads yours knows that someone disagrees.
