Sir, I am hard core crabbing person from Pensacola Florida and I found that using raw chicken and oily type fish for bait/like tuna or mackerel fish 🐟 is the best bait for crabbing and love your videos sir 😀
Agreed; it's the right size, and you can see its extended spear arm. I'm not sure if they're strong enough to hurt you like regular clubbing mantis shrimp, but it was a good idea to be careful
I don't know why you're videos haven't shown up before, but I just subd after watching about 5 of them. I really Enjoyed! Thank you. GBU.,SM.,NZ., ✌❤😁👍😎🙏🤗😉
You can still kill the stone crab that way. You want to try to make the crab “drop” it’s claw by either sticking its other claw in between the knuckles or use a knife.
Hey Micah; You probably know by now that you are supposed to use Ocean Water to boil Ocean Crab, and other Ocean Creatures! Makes them taste better! (Just saying!) That's a great variety of Edibles! 😋👍! Great Video! GBU.,SM.,NZ., ✌❤🙂✊🤗🙏🏿
Your family is living the life I want😁. So happy for y'all. My family will get there one day. I'm thinking about starting a new channel about small boat fishing to make it relatable to most folks that can't afford expensive boats
Another awesome video Micah! There is a guy I watch on you tube, it's called Southern Reels fishing, he catches sheepshead all the time. I think he mostly uses those fidler crabs too.
Fantastic Micah! Editing is phenomenal! I had some luck recently up in Ocean Isle area but the crabbing was hard up here! Well done brother, and thank you for being awesome!
That was a little mantis shrimp I believe they’re called something like a spear claw when they have that type of claw so they don’t pack as much as a punch as the peacock mantis shrimps found in aquariums
Love love love your videos. I rewatch them to help me sleep. One thing, I’d like to say….seasoned side down first! Once the seasoned side is cooking, add all the flavors you want to the uncooked side. Just saying, but keep em coming!
Man, over the years that I lived in Florida (I live in Pittsburgh now) I caught some seriously nice fish. Fishing in Tampa Bay and the Gulf I've caught some nice snapper, various species of shark, crab, huge rays, snook, redfish, big sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, sailfish, Florida marlin, dolphin (Mahi Mahi), 6' tarpon, red grouper, huge cobia, I mean, it was ALWAYS something fun to fight. I even caught BIG tuna, huge barracuda, and I caught a 59.5" 38 lb Mahi Mahi in St Thomas, USVI.
Brother you make me wanna live I get so excited watching and listening to you you’re an amazing young man and I thank you that you give God thanks for the wonderful food patient class your joy of life
Now that's a gator hahah, Appreciate your uploads man. I really hope to run into you or Ace some day and shred some water for the beasts (Or the crawdaddies I miss them mud bugs) Keep on with your beautiful family I really wish the best for all of you. Your content is amazing.
When you caught the crab on the rod and it was a keeper, I couldn’t help but laugh because I somehow caught a mussel on a spinner bait the other week 😂
Damn that looks like fun and delicious to eat anything eats fiddler crabs or sand fleas that one fiddler crab got you two keepers amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one
Awesome video!! Man i wish either you or your brother do a youtube community fishing event. I would definitely go. Again Micah thank you for these great videos!!!
Drinking a beer in the shower is a wonderful thing, eating in the shower.... I have doubts about how wonderful that would be. Now eating in the bathtub or a hot tub, that is a wonderful thing
I work in the food delivery industry and depending on where ur at in the country (the more inland the more expensive) the crab alone could be a $30 plate ad the shrimp, sheep's head and redfish plus assuming 2 sides (salad & baked potato) and a drink at a restaurant that's a $70 plate in a lot of parts of the country
This was Epic! I watch a BUNCH of your videos your brothers and Your Ancient. I watch on the big screen 99% of the time. I'll rewatch the older videos from my phone so I can comment. Help with that Algorithm 💯🔥. Another Hiiiiiiigggghhhhhhh!!!!
They have old-school RuneScape for your phone and computer. I play it all the time. Ashes sell for like 30 gp each so I just light a ton of fires and let em burn haha
How are the crocs working out for ya? Once I started wearing mine, I haven’t worn anything else lol. Have a bunch of different styles haha!!! Like a true southern men !!!
Yes that is a mantis shrimp. You wouldn't believe how many times I've been called a liar when I tell people that we have gators in the saltwater here. And there's lots of 'em. Chicken and large fish heads is the key to catching crabs. They're more attracted to blood and oil.
great video... I have been watching you and Aces videos for years. You have come a long way my friend. I started watching both your videos to learn how to fish Idaho. Now that you have moved I find that I get more knowledge and entertainment from your channel. sad to say I don't really get the entertainment value from your brothers channel anymore, just not the same. From one fellow running back to another. keep up the good work and I hope you have much success. 👍 you
8:25 mantis shrimp. We’ve been getting a bunch in the south this summer around ga and sc. glad you didn’t touch it though, they call them “thumb splitters”
not sure about stone crab and blue crab, but in the pnw we get dungeness crab with really old chicken and turkey. the stinkier the better. maybe the fresh fish as bait isnt pungent enough to lure them in.
Oh my God I'm so ready for some shrimp and crab. All I hear right now though is snow and ice falling I'm in Ontario Oregon right next to payette Idaho I'm sure you know where that is. And it's a few days before Christmas 2022. So watching your videos of where it's warm and when it was warm really warms me up and I can't wait to get out there and put all the stuff on my bucket list crossed off thanks again another great video I can't wait to watch more it'd be great to be able to connect with you and maybe do some fishing and catching Cooks anyways God bless you and your family let's get to another video of yours. And order some stuff from you your brother and Fowler and from the ancient.
Hey Micah, Love your videos. Next time catching sheepshead. Filet them, then cut into smaller pieces and cook them in the crab boil like you did the stone crabs (I prefer the Zatarain's powder crab boil - don't use the boil in the bag stuff and the liquid version can be very strong in small cooks) but add onions and potatoes then melt some butter with lemon and pour over the boiled sheep and potatoes. It's a take on poor man's lobster and the way we have cooked it for as long as I can remember. Also, crack the stone crabs with the back of a butter knife. I live in north Florida on the Gulf and our coast is very similar to that of South Carolina. Take care man, love the videos!
I think another cook-off is in order!!! 👨🍳 vs. 👨🍳
Yes yes sir
Yessir!!! MeAncient as the judge! 👨⚖️
Let’s gooo

Yes yes
Day 1 of asking for another catch and cook off with ace!

Dayy 1 agree
And bring mi ancient too
I beg for it too. Been way too long.
I'm not really a big fishing or camping person, but the energy in these videos is infectious.
Sir, I am hard core crabbing person from Pensacola Florida and I found that using raw chicken and oily type fish for bait/like tuna or mackerel fish 🐟 is the best bait for crabbing and love your videos sir 😀
I wen there on vacation this year
Actually it was navvar but it’s pretty close
Octopus
This is literally my dream video. I love costal fishing
The pizza in the shower was definitely a high adventure! lol that had me cracking up
That one shrimp was a spearing mantis shrimp, there are not the ones with the clubs but instead they have spears that pierce and grab prey.
Oh Cool!
Agreed; it's the right size, and you can see its extended spear arm. I'm not sure if they're strong enough to hurt you like regular clubbing mantis shrimp, but it was a good idea to be careful
I still don't understand why your channel isn't more popular!
37:25 that burn came outta nowhere laughed my ass off omg🤣🤣🤣
What a great video! I am not a fisherman, but I never miss a high adventure vid! Micah's enthusiasm is infectious.
The first one most definitely wasn’t clean you can see the actual meat he pulled out from the body. That’s a dead crab for sure.
He needs to do it properly. Killing those crabs removing claws like that.
Another great video Micah!!! Yes that was a mantis shrimp. But also when you have that bird a mullet, your laugh sounded like a seagull 🤣🤣🤣
Yea my laugh is really weird even to me hahahaha
It was a ghost shrimp
@@austintokar9649Whata that?
Next time try cracking open the stone crab claws just by hitting it with the back of a spoon, it’s much easier
Ahh a NEW video on the OLD channel! Glorious 😁
Love your videos and the positive energy. Thanks High Adventure.
Bro! So glad you got to try sheepshead. Probably my favorite salty to catch and cook and there are so many ways to cook it that are amazing!
also try hitting the stone crab claws with the back of a table spoon. it cracks it alot easier
18:40 is where the nat geo docuseries starts. AWESOME EDITING!!!
Throw the sheepshead head first hard back in the water, you have to get them back going after you catch them. They kinda get stunned
Bra thank u,u make my day afta work I have something to watch, thx u again!..HIGHHHHH adventure!…👊🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Fantastic Micah! Editing is phenomenal!
I had some luck recently up in Ocean Isle area but the crabbing was hard up here! Well done brother, and thank you for being awesome!
Ocean isle here. Where did you crab?
@@MusicMedic5150 The inlets between Ocean Isle and Sunset
@@alexfarmer1113 Crabs are hard to get here. Have you tried Oak Island. They use to be everywhere. Glad you visited hope you come back.

Great video. I’m glad you were able to catch the Sheeps Head!!
The CONVICT!
Love the crab videos. Good luck on the new channel.
If you love crabbing you'll love the next costal video i shot! Coming soon!
you should try using fresh cut mullet for crab bait. i always find that works the best for me in South Africa
LOVED waking up to another High Adventure!!
I love watching your videos.. much love from Guam 🇬🇺.
Love the salt water fishing so much you should do more!
Very awesome video of the fiddler crabs 🦀
That was a little mantis shrimp I believe they’re called something like a spear claw when they have that type of claw so they don’t pack as much as a punch as the peacock mantis shrimps found in aquariums
this video is so underrated (at this point in time). only 50 likes??? only 134 views??? This video should have thousands at the very beginning!
as full time osrs player i appreciate the runescape references, awesome catches!
LOL At the music played during the fiddler crab sequence. They all looked like they were volunteering to be caught for bait.
bro this just made my day cause i am battling covid i am getting over it but my abdomen is still hurting but when I'm watching this it all goes away
Get well soon!
thanks bro
Love love love your videos. I rewatch them to help me sleep. One thing, I’d like to say….seasoned side down first! Once the seasoned side is cooking, add all the flavors you want to the uncooked side. Just saying, but keep em coming!
SCAM!!! This has nothing to do with High Adventure Videos. Micah is legit. This person, however, is a fraud. Don’t fall for this stuff, guys!
Great video as always. Love the longer format.
Love that Clemson shirt! Let's go Tigers!🐯

In Florida that’s probably like an $80 dish maybe 60 in between 16 and 80.
That outro music is so goated never get rid of it.
Im always thinking I’m watching ace when I click on your videos 😂 but these are absolutely amazing as well so no complaints here
Definitely a mantis shrimp, juvenile. If you catch a large one, keep it, they’re delicious!
Awesome video!! Man i wish either you or your brother do a youtube community fishing event. I would definitely go. Again Micah thank you for these great videos!!!

They have old-school RuneScape for your phone and computer. I play it all the time. Ashes sell for like 30 gp each so I just light a ton of fires and let em burn haha
all your missing is corn and baby potatoes to the amazing looking meal love your videos Micah
How are the crocs working out for ya? Once I started wearing mine, I haven’t worn anything else lol. Have a bunch of different styles haha!!! Like a true southern men !!!
Bro.... You throw that net like 100 feet from the boat!!! Maybe it's the camera angle but it looked insane! Enjoyed the video per usual. 👍
I love this. It’s cool like we’re hanging out. Way cool video!
Micah, a good place for Sheepshead is a bridge structure, or a pier. Like you said, they like to eat barnacles. You found em though!
Keep up the great work so far these types of videos are me personal favoritw
Yes that is a mantis shrimp. You wouldn't believe how many times I've been called a liar when I tell people that we have gators in the saltwater here. And there's lots of 'em.
Chicken and large fish heads is the key to catching crabs. They're more attracted to blood and oil.
When cooking stone crab, when it is done cooking you want to imidatly put it in ice or ice watter, so it stops cooking and does not over cook
I love this dude. I aspire to be like you!
Well done, sir. Another high adventure.
great video... I have been watching you and Aces videos for years. You have come a long way my friend. I started watching both your videos to learn how to fish Idaho. Great video man, wish I could eat through the camera because that stuff looks DELICIOUS!
not sure about stone crab and blue crab, but in the pnw we get dungeness crab with really old chicken and turkey. the stinkier the better. maybe the fresh fish as bait isnt pungent enough to lure them in.
Great video!!!! Love this vibe!
Haha, had no idea you tear off a claw and then throw back the crabs.. .

Love your videos Man
Bleed out a sheep head and put on ice. Meat tastes better and is firmer. 🙂 I'm 64 been fishing Chesapeake Bay Bridge loaded with sheepshead. 🦀🐟
Thank you for this! I'll do that next time!
You a lot of fun to watch good sir. Be blessed on your adventures.
That Gandalf sound tho! 😆 🤣
be sure to break the claw off at the joint on the stone crabs otherwise it wont grow back
Love the saltwater vids!!
You need a Carolina Gamecock T-Shirt on brother ... Tha Bman Hartsville S.C
Put some can cat food just crack it open a little bit let it sit it puts off oil to it will bring them in to
Some 15-20 pound braid would do you good fishing that kind of structure.
Please make a scalloping video in the gulf when season opens!
And yes sir that is a white mantis shrimp
The mantis shrimp make for good black drum bait !
Great video the was full of surprises nice job buddy!!!
Absolutely an awesome video it was so much fun to watch thank you can't wait to see more from you.
