I’m getting eaten alive by all the real Lumberjacks in the comment section Yeesh who knew! 😂😂
Raiders suck XD
Good morning I am supposedly getting texted by you wanting my info because I won something. Is this you or someone messing with me?
Sorry to have bothered you apparently everyone was put on the shortlist of winners after I checked the other comments. Be aware someone appears to be trying to scam your viewers
Lol I knew you were going to get attacked soon as I saw that Raiders blanket lmao
@@fyrebugg9354 Yeah they messaged me too. Thanks for warning us. Viewers beware. He'll announce himself if he's doing a giveaway .
You're gonna make those sunglasses the new trend of the year.
He should have is own brand. He could if you helped him
You looked uncomfortable in Fowler's video sorry
Love your videos to Ace iam just from watching your video with Zach Fowler he upload you guys spent a day fishing and forigin for food today I might have reserved it late because I live in Zambia in southern Africa 🌍
Every time I watch his videos I think "I need those"
@@jsaylor1980 Im sure Fowler isnt the easiest guy to be around :P
Always dropping something new, man I just appreciate this guys consistency The whole family is so enjoyable.
I'm curious about the mom. They've mentioned her in the past but she's never been in a video. 🤔
@@StephenMooreOfficial on one of his ace videos their mom features in it
@@StephenMooreOfficial I saw their Mom in a video once. She was in the swimming pool in one odd Ace's video. I wish she would do sone cooking videos with them and their "Ancient"! That would be awesome!
Another awesome video. Yeah that tree has some kind of weevils I think they call it. Whatever it is my tree had it and had to have it cut down too. But don't replace it with a boring old Palm put a nice beautiful Maple or something with some color. LOL
@@StephenMooreOfficial Momma Ace, as far as I understand it (Now I don’t wanna speak for mama ace) but I’m pretty sure she doesn’t like being on camera but she has been in aces previous videos very vaguely if I remember right.
I love vids when ur foraging for bait loved it
That's a Persimmon tree. They're edible. Also, that "foot" on that big snail is called an operculum, i.e. a trap door to keep predators out 🙂
Bro that’s a maple tree
That he cut down anyways
@@wyattthefakeearp425 hes talking about the one on the island i think
@@aidanfriel4489 i saw that after words it must’ve been when I watched further in
Yup, persimmon.. If ya eat it before ripe it makes your mouth numb best I recall. Haven’t ate one since I was a kid
I love your fishing videos you make my day when you post a new video.
Your Underwater footage is great man keep up the good work love your vid’s
51mins of high adventure... super stoked
I love your videos and aces when are you doing a another cook off because I have watched all of them and they are my favourite 🙂
Attacks tree with splitting maul instead of an axe....lol love the video bud. Sorry I missed the past few live streams.
I had no idea there were different axes, do I look like a dwarf?? sheesh 😆
@@HighAdventureVideos nah you look swole as heck 💪. Just made you look more manly my dude.
Well great job getting through your challenge .thanks for filming it.
Hey Micah, great video as always! There are a number of things that could have caused that maple tree you cut down to start dying like that, so I can't really give a definitive answer on what caused it; it could be anything from root rot fungal infections to water polluted with chemicals. What I do know is that tree-bore insects took advantage of the tree's weak state to burrow into it, such as carpenter bees, wood-bore beetles, etc. Some woodpeckers probably got into it as well. That's what all of those holes were from!
You're so corny, I love it, I love your sense of humor. Pure entertainment, thank you!
You're such a goober and I love it. Never change.
2:04 lost it at this haha. Great video btw
love the catch clean cooks keep them coming
Bro ! you did it to me again. Just got in from driving Close to 800 miles, And I really need to take a shower and go to bed for a while. Then I get the video of high adventure. Lol At least don't have sweet dreams. Hope you and the family are having a great weekend. God-bless and protect you all. Much love from central Virginia brother.
I love it when after you catch fish you hold it over the side of the boat when you want to keep them...❤😮
I love your catch cook and camp videos mica they are so good u should do them often and u should make more videos with Ace your brother
Hey Micah! That fruit tree you found on the island looks like an American persimmon tree; the fruit will be ripe in the fall (September through November), so if you go back there around then, keep an eye out for some tasty fruit
These videos kept me happy so much
Oh and I was watching aces video with the turtle pool . And your kids were on there . They are so adorable.
Haven't watched the whole video yet but those little clams you see the shells of are invasive Asian clams, and they are fantastic bream bait. You can also eat them and they are quite good if you can get several good handfuls of them. They are easy to eat.
Always make a small cut on the underneath of the branch you’re planning to cut helps it from hanging there like the first one did
Exactly snap cut it only real arborist know this though he not a professional
Good start to your challenge. That's a nice kitty cat
Hey we catch bream a different way i was wondering if you could do a video named southern bream fishing so how we catch bream is we go near fallen trees or sea walls and we have a bobber splitshot and hook and we cast near the Shure and catch about 50 bream
When you cut a limb off you need to cover the cut part with tar and it will keep the bugs from getting into the new cut part . And stop it from dieing
Those holes in the tree may be boring beetle. Look around your other trees for holes and saw dust beneath them!
Micah I love all your vids, but something about this one was so nice. did not want it to end.
Best yt channel of All times
I absolutely love how you found those snails and use them for bait and them bluegill or brim or whatever they're called over there all those are my favorite
Awesome video a good idea to help you kind of stay out of the rain but still fish the areas you want would be to maybe get a Bimini top so if it starts rain you can have a cover over your head
Oh yeah, another Adventure!
Hunger is always the best cook in the world.
Those glasses are fire I need to wear those to school
Lumberjack thing is really funny man... Just to prevent bugs eating your trees after you cut those big branches cover those cuts in a wood paint so bugs will not chew on it... I watch you and your bro ace really entertaining videos👍🏻
Aye live these type of vids
Hey, if you use a red light, the craw fish will not react to it, just like worms at night, you can spot light them and they will not look for cover… fyi… love your videos!
I love the vids. They give me something to look forward to every week.
I definitely enjoy this video I don't know why you didn't cook those bluegill and some deep-fried reading and some oil cuz that's the best way anyways but it looked really really good how you cook them to the skin looked absolutely crunching delicious and so the tales I love these videos like this and I can't wait to see more thank you again and I'm always going to be a subscriber and watch her thank you so much
That was great yes their are big freshwater snails which unlike their saltwater cousins don't have much meat in them that was a interesting challenge the tree has beetles or termites amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one
When you swing the axe start with your right hand at the top and slide it down while you swing. Gives you more power
Looks like you met the challenge despite the odds, keep it up Micah 🤟👍🤘
Did great, especially for a guy who let many lbs of fish meat go. Fun to watch. Looked like a pretty good time. I'm sure a lot of big fish would eat those snakes, especially the small one. I showed my friend a great secret spot I always pulled in big trout from, and he caught a 5lb trout, it had a gardener snake in the stomach, and other fish and stuff. Good time in Idaho in the early 80s :)
Keep it up man! Always love the vids!!
That's beetle kill my friend, it's very very popular in the south, and that's not an axe those are persimmons and no they weren't ripe, they will turn orange in the fall and are excellent to eat. Deer also love them. You can plant them in the woods by your house for deer and yourself they grow amazingly
crawfish cannot see well behind them. if you put your hand in front of them you can slowly push your hand towards them and grab them with your other hand from behind. this is the best method ive found for catching them
@@nicholasshirley5687 Sure, but you forget he’s holding a Go-Pro in the other hand 😆
Micah and Ace have to be the best fisherman in the world.
Yes! Let’s get it!
Hey brother you have got to go back to Lake Murray on the irmo side of the Dam along the rocks in the park at Nite some of the best Craw Fishing. There all over the rocks would love to see you bring us a video getting a good mess of Crawfish
34:44 you just missed a crawfish go from under one root of the tree down to the other
Love you videos keep it up
One thing I have always wondered about when you eat crawfish. Why don't you eat the fat inside of the chestarea? It's really tasty! It's the yellow buttery stuff you will find if you just split the crawfish in two after you have removed the tail.
Bees maybe? Had a colony that burrowed in a 4x4 post i had laying next to my house earlier this summer.
The beginning was awesome dude 😂
Those snails are like escargot. Great eating
The large holes bored in your tree appear to be from carpenter bees.I am in NC and have them-they can attack anything made of wood. They bore into the wood to lay their eggs. Also the tree could have been damaged by carpenter ants, too.Large black ants.
Those are Chinese mystery snails!! Super invasive so awesome bait choice
so exited to watch this
A small victory is still a victory Micah. Be well friend. God bless.
funny no gloves .i use to remove trees on weekends with 2 other guys .alot of heavy countstubulas
This made my day!! How do I get the info to send you something? I have several crawfish seasonings I’d like you to try that we use for our crawfish food truck business down here in Memphis Tn!
That sounds legit! I have a PO in the description of the video where you can send stuff, thanks!
Love you bro keep makin these bussin vids
It's a grub be prepared for some awesome bait when u cut it down💪🏾♿🎣
Those snails are great cooked btw :)
persimmon tree brother :) and btw persimmon pulp used for persimmon pudding is a valuable resource. alot of people pay good money for gallons of the pulp ! :) if you have never gave it a try i highly reccommend trying persimmon pudding
I believe that is a japanese plum tree. Yes they'd turned yellow it would've been good.
Haven’t missed a video or a like this far
Awesome man you and your bro keep it up they get better every one
Hey dude. Treat the soil around where that trees been cut down. Go to your local feed & seed store for advice what herbicides to protect your palm tree 🌴 before planting. You welcome from Buugyman Dave..Wetumpka, Alabama
9:37 is 100% a persimmon tree.
Maybe termites of some sort? Love this video I’m along for the adventures
Beautiful yard my friend
The snails make excellent bait, everywhere
Micha please do a video where you go fishing with a squid rig and use the squid to catch other fish.
I believe that the smaller holes in the tree are wood peckers trying to get insects.
They're more likely caused by beetles.
Loved the intro 😂
Just a tip for netting crawfish. If you put the net behind them and step in front of them the just go right into your net.
@HighAdventureVideos ever do a video on Lake Wylie in SC, let me know! Good fishing in that lake.
Persimmon tree.. make sure you try a green one! that's an experience..
I find kangaroo spices go well with crawdads askually. Give it a try, a nice change from your usual steak seasoning.
44:55 Aw! My first thought was when he let the catfish on a stringer off the side of the boat and went to bed was, I wonder if it’ll be there in the morning 😂 Sure enough it was gone! I get it’s a pain to get ice etc. Too bad! Guess lesson is, if you’re starving don’t risk it! Also, it would be easy to make a shelter/roof out of camping poles and tarps no? Instead of looking for bridges to hang under to shelter from rain? 🤔💭
That’s a kumquat tree!! It’s edible!! I made jam b4! Super sweet!!
Flathead are the best eating catfish
That was persimmons at 9:30. They're edible raw. Thin sliced is best. If they're orange and sweet, they're ripe. Look up persimmon recipes!
Dang I had food and didn't realize...
@@HighAdventureVideos such a tasty fruit too! On your first go with them, peel the skin off. The skin is an acquired taste. It has the most tannins in it, which makes your mouth feel dry. Love your content, man, keep it up!
Yeah if they aren’t ripe then be prepared to not taste anything for a while if they aren’t perfect they are the most bitter thing you will ever taste they just make your mouth numb
I've taken a lot of my yard tree's down and I cut the roots at the ground with the AX and pull the tree out with my Truck, Easy
Best glasses ever 😂😂😂
Steak seasoning on fish... Great video.
Where is your tent with rain guard and bug zapper. Love watching your videos
The holes that were there when you cut it I don't know what those were but the ones on the bark I think are from woodpeckers
Sweet vid man!!!!
Well I would call it a success, to bad the cat got away. Your attitude on the loss and sticking it out was solid. Great video.
Not sure when you trimmed it last year, but only trim trees in months with R in the name. Also too late now, but as soon as you cut it cover the stump in Tordon to kill it
Sucks that I have to wait until I get home to watch these awesome videos. Just can't be first or even close to first....lol
Love the content brother!!!!!!
I always thought that it was crazy weather in south Carolina but sheeshh come up in pa your ganna go crazy I would love south Carolina weather any day I miss it down south so bad
That in fact happened to me in one of my videos bro! Forgot to get worms, and there was an open van of them right where I launched my kayak and it had worms in it! No one around and no one came back for them, caught some nice gills too!
Hey, Micah,
Those holes you are seeing in your tree are caused by boring insects. Potentially a bore beetle, which would explain the insane die-back of the tree and those holes. Not sure where you live, and how much of an invasive presence they have in your area, but bore beetles are terrible.
dang, snail seems like a decent bait, stays on the hook pretty well.
You should boil snails in rice wine sugar ginger scallions and soy then just use a toothpick to extract no need to crush. They taste good.
Great video dude..
The wife and I started watching your videos afew months ago, she now asks me every afternoon... Any new high adventures today.
Keep up the good work. Maybe we will meet one day,we fish alot of the same places!
Persimmons there good to eat.
