To remind you even more about how bad chapter 3 is in this game, chapter 3 was generally considered one of the best chapters in every previous game, every list ranking every paper Mario chapter from each respective game I’ve seen invincible tubba blubba, glitz pit, and the Bitlands be placed in at least the top three in their respective games, until world 3 from sticker star came in and ruined this series streak in more ways then one
All we can hope is that Thousand Year Door sells well enough on switch for them to never ever try the stickers again. There is trying new things in a series and then actively working against everything the series has been before hand. Partners? gone. Interesting worlds and bosses? Gone. This may be the most tone deaf game ever. And they made two sequels....
i don’t know how they managed to delude themselves into thinking Sticker Star was the right formula to keep working with, I genuinely think they just hate their owns fans lol
@@Cytonox It's been studied for years why they did. Some people said they were already halfway through making Color Splash when they dropped Sticker Star so they just pushed anyway. But feedback to both was horrendous so Origami King was made slightly better yet still lacking.
Masterpiece. Only right that Alex gets to descend into his own personal hell after Jack has to go through Sonic 06. Unfortunately, for next Halloween it seems like Jack will need to finish at least one other campaign in Sonic 06 while you cover the next Sticker Star game. Either way this was awesome. I know how much of a nightmare this was to put together and it came out amazing. You do too much for content lol, I can't imagine having to evade all of these horror icons, saving your best friend from the clutches of the devil while also being forced to play a dogshit game. Not even the game could be worth your time, this whole project was firmly against you from the start. Your compensation is a metric ass load of Cytonox Points, so I guess it was good for something
I like how the Saw sequence captures the feel of the franchise quite effectively by recreating the editing style of the early films and Jigsaw presenting the trap.

I have as a matter of fact, Chuggaconroy was the first youtuber I ever watched. Never was a big pokemon/xenoblade guy so I kinda stopped watching him for a while, but I came back when he did those vids. He made a lot of good points, and was a lot nicer about it than I was (lol)
One of the greatest pieces of cinema to hit TH-cam. The modern form of this platform can't handle a man doing skits and talking shit about video games. I get the same type of feelings I had when seeing early AVGN with this video, and without the need to copy all the footage to VHS. The game sucks. Sucks really bad.
Awesome video, Guys! I never played Sticker Star and am glad I haven't. Lol. This was definitely one of your funniest videos, and I especially liked the inclusion of the slasher villain skits. It always sucks when developers ruin a beloved franchise, even more so when they don't listen to the fans' feedback afterwards. I still hate what happened to the Thief series, but the reboot wasn't even developed by Looking Glass (which had closed down shortly after The Metal Age was released). With Sticker Star, though, it's the same developers, which just makes it particularly baffling.

It's good to know that there's someone out there who hates -Paper Mario: Sticker Star- Roy Rogers as much as I do. Seriously. I had it once in my life, on a trip through Maryland, and holy Christ was it a disappointment. It's like Arby's if a plain roast beef was the only sandwich they had, just in different sizes, and instead of delicious curly fries they had jalapeño poppers that burned a hole straight through the roof of my mouth, which is partially my fault but I'm going to go ahead and blame it on them. Plus I ended up in Baltimore the next day, and boy is that a whole different kind of awful, so really this is just a disgrace of a restaurant through and through. I'd rather drive two hundred miles to get a beef on weck in Buffalo than settle for Roy Rogers ever again. I'm actually amazed that -Nintendo- Roy Rogers is still in business.
I go to University of Maryland and we used to have one in our student center, the story behind that is a whole thing in and of itself. Horrendous restaurant that I will never treat with anything other than contempt for as long as I live!
I literally seen people on twitter (modern pm fans) call paper Mario fans petty and spiteful over this game for 10 years and proceed to mock them for it, what these morons tend to miss here is that if sticker star went the same way both hey pikmin and federation force did, nobody would be talking about this game, the lack of understanding these people have over our frustrations for this direction is insane

It's hard to even think of a single level from this game and Fort Francis from Super at the same time. The gulf is just too vast.
