Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
Best fishing channel on YT. It’s truly not even close. You fish exactly how I fish. Calm, content, Soaking in the beautiful landscapes, and wild life. There is truly something spiritual about fishing.
There aren't many TH-camrs who could make a 14-minute video with only two catches on it and still have it be totally interesting and enjoyable. Thanks Matt.
This is the second video of yours that I watch. No obnoxious music and no faking reactions. I appreciate your calm vibe and appreciation for every fish. :) Subscribed for sure!
Who else watches EVERYWHERE Matt goes and thinks ‘man i’d love to hunt this for ducks and geese.’ It’s always that same initial thought, followed quickly by ‘Matt rocks’, ‘Matt is worlds best fisherman’, and ‘Why does Matt only have this many subs?’ No music, short and quiet narrative, absolutely gorgeous scenery even in winter, and tons of fish. Best channel ever.
ND/MN is really good for waterfowl hunting and fishing! Land of 10,000 lakes and the Red River of the North is top notch for channel cats, pike, walleye, and about 67 other species!! It's where I fish too
I've been watching you since 10k subs and the thing that I always come back for is the fact that your style has not changed. You can see across many other TH-cam channels that they more subs they get the more they change their style of videos and become more clickbaity. But I can always come here and rely on the same content that I've always liked. Always catching hogs with super high quality video can't complain. No screaming and yelling or getting overhyped just pure self. Hats off to you for keeping it original!
Wow dude... Have I never seen someone target a musky and catch it they way you did. .. blew my mind unbelievable... Goes to show you people no matter how hard you try at some thing there is allways progression and rewards !! ABSOLUTELY amazing Matt! Beautiful content keep up the good work!!!
As someone who loves to fish, your videos are the type "we" want to watch. You were unsure earlier this year about continuing, "WE" are all glad you decided to keep yakkin. 2 musky day on a kayak!!! That's not a slow day. Keep it up man, love your videos.
I was starting to get discouraged because I usually get a ton of pike on this river but they weren’t around on this trip. I did see about a half dozen muskie throughout the day though. The water temp was only 60 too so now that it’s starting to warm up it should be fun!
@@ndyakangler love your videos but I was talking about your overall mood on fishing when you took a break earlier in the year. Sounds like you just hit some of the "rapids" in the river of life. Keep floating to the next juicy spot, we will keep watching.
Great videos you post. I’m a bass fisherman here in the northeast. A friend in the boat one day caught a smaller pike on a crank bait. I grabbed a random rod in the boat with a HOT pink crank bait. No leader or net, got lucky and landed a 33 inch pike, A little over 10lbs. What a RUSH !!
Watching a 14 minute video of you catch just 2 fish is better than watching any other video of others catching lots of fish. When that musky hit that snake right there by your yak made me nearly jump out of my chair. Then I started laughing so hard my wife thought I was going crazy. Keep up the good videos.
I’m an avid fisherman in northern New Hampshire. I like to fish for largemouth smallmouth but mostly northern pike. Your videos are great because you don’t make any stupid jokes and you just fish. Yours are the most enjoyable fishing videos on TH-cam. Keep up the good work and keep slaying them👍
