- There are many great videos showing you how to utilise a peanut ball during labor, yet they don't explain the most important part.... WHY you use them and when to use them.
Here is Ginny from www.optimalmaternalpositioning... to explain in detail to support your birthing journey.
Pregnant and concerned there is still something MISSING from your birth plan?

I wish I knew this information 5 years ago. :(
That's a shame you didn't find this sooner
@@OptimalMaternalPositioning Oh, I am definitely still happy I found it. I just wish I had known it sooner. My 2nd born was too high up and the doctor didn't wait... so it ended with a c-section.
Love your cartoon logo, is it possible to know who the artist is? Or her/his contact info? Thank you.
Hi Ellen. Wonderful to meet you too. Received your email and about to reply x
My question is how would i know the baby is already engage in the pelvis so i can stop extension. Is it when contractions are a certain minute apart? What is a good clue to use?

I would recommend that you check out our Optimal Maternal Positioning online workshop for Parents: www.ibirthprofessionals.com/OMPforparents
This will help you better prepare and answer your question in greater detail.
what kind of laboring positions would you suggest for someone who is experiencing intense discomfort in their pubis symphysis? Are there any specific positions for this?
Great question thank you. As you know every specific case is different so the best insight would be that most of the time, it would be any position that keeps her legs parallel however best to follow her body as to what works for her. We hope that helps.
