One of the most beautiful truths I have ever heard was just utter once again by Janelle. As a Roman Catholic Priest I recognize the great power of conversations. So often when people leave Church after a Sunday mass they leave with questions but because of the busy nature of our lives those questions are not asked. I make it my point to be available for those questions. We all need to be available for those questions. I will forever thank the parishes of the Trinity in Saskatoon for helping me to appreciate that truth. I totally agree with what you've shared about the raising of the children. I hope you don't get too much blow back over it. I'd think your followers would expect this but if it gets shared further there will be those who feel they need to justify their decisions to put career first. The answer you gave your daughter was perfect. As a corrections officer I have witnessed the chaos that not having Jesus in their lives can cause. In 25 yrs You have created something with face to face that will benefit generations. In my work, I’ve seen 3 generations in jail together. Generational sin, addiction, and a blatant lack of respect for others keep them in that lifestyle…a harder life.
We have often thought about moving to a place like yours where there is an established community as we have struggled to find this for ourselves, our children and now our grandchildren. Still debating the idea.. so glad to hear you mention that many others have asked about this as well. 😌🙏

When I listened to that speech back then I thought of you and your family that actually live that message. God bless you and family. I really enjoy your channel even though I am not Catholic. Non denominational Christian here. Our culture has gone so far from God’s design for the family it’s sad and we are seeing the consequences. Where can I find those quotes from St John?
I get that college costs are probably different in Canada, but in the US, I cannot understand why a woman thinks going six digits into debt before her marriage even starts is a good idea, especially if she thinks she's staying home with kids when they come. That's unfair to her husband, to leave him to pay debts that he didn't incur and doesn't benefit from in any way (unlike secured debts like a car payment.) If I could do it over again, I wouldn't have set foot on a college campus and I would've treated getting married like the priority I considered it to be. Instead, I made the dumb choice and here I am 40 with no marriage, no prospects for marriage, and a body whose childbearing capacity has expired.
I’m a Catholic, but why doesn't the Church preach the Truth? It has been 200 years since new studies and discoveries, yet doctrines from 500 years ago are still being taught. People no longer believe. Today, with the internet, information is accessible, and many learn from other sources, which often clashes with what is taught. It’s time to talk about the Historical Jesus and update the message. I say this because I learned it in the Church from priests and Catholic teachers, but very few teach this. And when you try to convey the message, people get offended because only a handful share it. With the discovery of the Q document and the Gilgamesh tablets, everything changed. We realized that the most original gospel is Mark, not Matthew, as the Church Fathers taught. And with Gilgamesh, we have learned that the first 11 chapters and more are mythology. But almost no one knows this.
