    40 years ago I lost a baby and couldn't get pregnant again. I have not forgotten over 40 years, the loss of that little one. When I hear people speak of being in favor of abortion, I think of how I would have loved to have my little baby.😢

    I was born raised Catholic but we never practiced the faith. I ended up falling away from the faith, I turned into a drug addict prostitute and murder by having 2 abortions... Long story short I have came back to the faith and started learning about Catholicism, not a day goes by I don't think about my 2 unborn children and how I did the worst of the worst. I thankful that out blessed mother has brought me back to Jesus and how thankful God allowed me to live and recognize my sin and ask for forgiveness and repent.

      🙏🏽 Amen, brother! The more I seek the Lord, the more so-called "coincidences" happen. Us Christians know better, don't we? That's the Holy Spirit reaching out to us.
      I pray you and all denominations of my brothers and sisters in Christ are open to recieve the Lord's graces and actively work with what the Holy Spirit communicates with us. I pray for the conversion of sinners and for active Christians in the world to openly live and teach the Word so we may be a light to the rest of the world. Lord, please bless us with an open heart and mind so we may receive your gifts and share them with others.

    Concerning abortion - my mother was an OB/GYN Nurse in the early 1970's when abortion was legalized in the US. I remember her saying at the time that she wouldn't be surprised if years later women who'd had abortions ended up with deep psychological scars (read spiritual). I myself know women who've had abortions and I believe what my mother said is true. This is so very sad as even 'those' who are Christians and have confessed and asked forgiveness are still wracked with guilt, depressed, inconsolable.

      Our soul is interconnected.
      As (future Saint) Bishop Sheen has shared.
      Sin (especially mortal) ill's the body
      So too, will prayer, meditation, charity
      and
      receiving THE HOLY EUCHARIST when properly received. . .
      - premeditated
      -in sanctifying grace
      -free from venial sins (Penitential Rites)

      It's a continuous journey, if all was that simple, why would Jesus speak the truth of hell. The Pharises were decendants of Abraham. Repentance/ Reconciliation reunits us with God and His grace from it strengthens us. It takes humility and sacrifice of our pride to repent. Jesus gaves us the way to eternal life. The way, the narrow path, not a free ticket...Bless you and may God encourage you into Truth even more...

      @My10thAccount 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      That’s certainly an unorthodox method, but the idea isn’t a terrible one. It’s good to keep track of your sins and bring them to confession once per week. If you’re doing it that way because it’s in your nature or you just like using such detail then I see no issue with it. If you’re doing so from a position of excess scrupulosity though I’d recommend doing something less intensive. God is both perfect justice and perfect mercy, never forget either. You must always lean on his mercy while remembering his justice.

    • @L.Fontein7
      @L.Fontein7 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hmmm...that's an interesting approach. No judgement here at all. 😊I'm wondering if keeping a handwritten (or online) journal - simply written - wouldn't be a bit simpler for you and ultimately free you up to live more for the Lord in the sense that instead of focusing so very much on your sin (which I believe the Lord definitely wants us to confess and repent for but then move on, not continue to focus on it and keep bringing it back up to ourselves), and elaborately cataloguing it - you could be using the time to let your light shine to others by living out your faith and salvation by doing good works and witnessing. I'm NOT saying to do these things as penance, no. I'm saying use that time to spread the love of God to others instead of scrupulous self focus on your sin. This is just a thought. I'm sure if you bring this question to the Lord in prayer He will lead you in this. Notice I said pray to the Lord - and pray to him directly about your sins and ask him for forgiveness directly - you do not need nor is it biblical to have an intercessor such as a priest or a bishop to confess to. Jesus died so that we could go directly to him asking and being given forgiveness for our sins. 🙏🏼

    The Bible is the inspired word of God.
    1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
    Luke 1:46-47 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior
    Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
    1 Corinthians 10:4 “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.”
    1 Samuel 2:2 “There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
    Mark 7:7. “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”
    2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
    John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
    1 Timothy 4:3 “Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.”
    2 Timothy 3:15 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
    Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
    Better to be a born again Christian and find a good home Bible study group.

      You are either thinking of someone else or you have been grossly misinformed....Bishop Sheen was one of the holiest and intelligent men to live in our modern times, and was filled with the Holy Spirit, you can feel it just by listening to him. Someone like that doesn't just all of a sudden become worldly and modern in his last years.

    You are not his Little Children. Are you? Isn't the world Christ's little children? Aren't we ALL God's Children? We are not this man's anything. And saying so dedicates you to whatever he says. Words matter, people. You're not going to allow your child to call their aunt an uncle. We are children of God. And this man (the Catholic Church) puts himself in the place of God, receiving God's Glory, calling us his instead of ALL OF US being God's children, him included. Catholicism is everything Martin Luther said it was. And more. MLK was Messenger.❤❤❤✝️🙏🇺🇲✝️🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲✝️

    He left out making reparation to whom he (the man) sinned against. Also, the Word of God says, if you confess your sins, yahovah is willing to forgive them AND remember them no more…as far as the East is from the west, He remembers them no more. So the story of the nails leaving holes is not Scriptural. But the rest of the sermon is good…the wages of sin is death but Jesus Christ took all our sins to the cross with Him. We are forgiven. When Yahovah see us He only sees the blood of His only begotten son upon us. Praise you Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

      As exorcist Fr. Ripperger said, God can't forget. He's God. But (if I correctly recall Fr.'s words) God chooses not to look at our sins. The problem in this area that is with protestantism is that their "ministers" have zero Authority from God to forgive anyone's sins. Christ established the Sacrament of Reconciliation (also called Penance), and Authorized His Apostles and those they would later ordain to forgive people's sins. There are so many things of the Holy Faith that protestants (any non-Catholic) can not do because they are not attached to the True Vine, Christ and His Catholic Church. Luther, Calvin, Zwingli, and Henry VIII caused and led the separations of billions of people from Christ and His Catholic Church. This rebellion has grown and still continues today. Come Home to Christ's One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church today!

      @L.Fontein7How were they blessed?? Pride in Luther started it. Why can't he do something else? Thousand sects of protestants now. All different heads of authority !

      You mean the one percent of pedophile priests? Most of them Freemasons out there to do just that. Read Father Charles Murr’s ‘MURDER IN THE 33rd Degree’ . Protestant ministers, rabbis and teachers have a higher rate of abuse - do your homework.
