FC Barcelona's NEW Stadium (23-24 Season)

- Renovations have begun at Barcelona's iconic Camp Nou stadium. However, this means that for the 2023-24 season the club will have to spend a year away from their historical home.
Their stadium of choice is the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, a 55,000 capacity ground that has quite the interesting history. In this video we take a closer look at the stadium and what it will mean for Barca and their fans.

I’m glad they are using this stadium. Personally I like the surroundings. The Olympic track is not ideal but it is still a good option.
I saw this Montjuic stadium in 2011, it's really nice. Glad to see that Barca is using it for the next season.👍🏻

I will miss going nou camp for the games. Not sure if I'll go to the games next season at the Olympic stadium as I don't like the big running track around it.
The exterior looks like Soldier Field in Chicago.

im planning to go to the first game of the season, will the tickets be hard to buy knowing that its a lower capacity stadium?
It'll probably make a difference unfortunately as even usual season ticket holders at the Nou Camp will have to miss out due to the capacity. But you might get lucky!
@@ThePartidoFootball Yeah thank you, hopefully Barca wont play someone like Real or Atleti in the first round. Also, do you think that tickets will be more expensive than in the previous seasons?
@@bratkevic5307 Season ticket holders will be looking at around €25-50 per game with their deal. So I imagine that might be a tad more for people just going to one game if they can get their hands on tickets - I think the cheapest I've paid at the Nou Camp is €29 so doesn't seem that much different

Tickets are available for Tottenham and Cadiz matches currently! I bought for Cadiz 1st home match on august 20th.

The running track sucks but I guess they can't do anything about it.
it looks atrocious. why on earth couldn't they ground share with Espanyol?
I think it's more the Espanyol fans who would have had a problem with them playing there. It would have been interesting though after there was basically a near riot when Barca won the league there!
