@@ivanstiles7030 Thanks Ivan. Yeah, New Britain is some top notch tools. These were made back when manufacturers actually cared about their products. What year is your BP hammer?? Dang it…. Now I have to start looking for one.
@@ivanstiles7030 Oh ok. I’ll keep an eye open for that. I have a little 4oz Craftsman BP. It has the long C in Craftsman so I know it’s old. I use it to drive 200 year old nail back into that Spanish chair I worked on. Handy little hammer.
So glad to see you back Brother !!! Great job on the New Britain 👏 I’ll be taking the Grand’s their New (Old) tools and tool boxes up for Christmas this week…..I hope they enjoy and appreciate them. Again, glad to see you posting again and a Very Merry Christmas to you and your Family 🎄 🇺🇸 Rick
@@Living-The-Dream Hey First Sergeant. I was right about to email You. Hopefully I’m back in action now. I’ve been focused on work lately.. it’s time to get back to what I love to do even though I love my job. That’s cool you’re giving the Grandkids tools. I wish My Grandad gave me stuff. All I got from Him was wisecracks and jokes. Merry Christmas from My Family to Yours 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 🎄 🛠
Hahaha. Brother you don't look like this your first restoration and clean up. Trade up for some leather wire wheel gloves. Graat video and entertaining. Look forward to watching the next upcoming video.
@@jcastillon1991 I didn’t know there were leather gloves for wire wheeling?? My Grandpa told me never to use gloves because if the wire wheel or a drill bit catches the glove, it’ll rip my hand or fingers off. I thought these latex gloves were meant to cut away like they did so my hands would be safe. Thanks J. That was a fun one. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to see get fixed or cleaned up. I’m running out of ideas.
@spiderlovesbeerohyeah4760 Well I guess that's possible regarding accidently making major contact with the wire wheel. I'll have to try your method for the incidental contact. Makes sense what you saying though about the latex gloves shredding. Guess we all can learn from those who have had experienced an incident or two. Keep doing what works for you to be safe.
I pick up New Britain tools whenever I find them. I just restored a New Britain ball peen hammer today. They are great tools. Nicely done Spider

@spiderlovesbeerohyeah4760 I'm not sure what year it is. It is an H-3-1 4 oz. It's very tiny but it will be nice to use with small spring pins.
