This fishing adventure was shot entirely on PUBLIC PROPERTY. I do not condone trespassing. You should always ask permission before fishing on someone else’s property. Thanks for watching and tight lines!
618 Fishing i was wondering about the legality of your access to this area while watching. I own a 3 acre fishing pond at the front of my property, but I used to own more land that I sold in the back end of my 127 acre family lot that was dug while the state dug clay they purchased from my grandfather in the late 60s for building interstate I-16 here in central Georgia. Fortunately for us, they hit several springs way deep down that filled it very quickly and kept it full of really clear water throughout my childhood and until this day. It is around 4.5 acres and always made an awesome country swimming hole for us while I was coming up. That said, we had an absolutely horrible time with stupid fucking asshole, inconsiderate punk bitches constantly trespassing back there and just reaking havok and completely trashing our nice spot and at the same time ride down several gaping holes in our fence with their gyahtdamn fourwheelers. I get ill thinking about it to this day. My point is, all of you who want to do this type of gorilla fishing, make damn sure you aren't trespassing on some crazy Deliverance type mofos shit that's going to have you squealing like a pig just for trying to do a little innocent fishing while you were planning on leaving no trace you were even there. I can tell you from experience that people ain't playin when it comes down to their property and you never know what kind of pieces of worthless shit they've been dealing with recently ruining their land. I had a joker throw a bashed to hell fucking vcr in my damn lake man! These folks legit packed in an old vcr just to beat the hell out of it and chunk it and all the parts that broke off into our swimming spot! I didn't know these fuks, but I can tell you I was pissed off real bad and I was ready to fuck their reality up for fucking with my shit. The fact is, when you trespass on posted property you have just given up a large chunk of your rights so be very careful yall and for fuck sake if you ever do go on anybody else's land to fish without permission leave only footprints and put the damn fish back in the damn pond! That might keep you from being fed to the pigs or buried in somebody's swamp or something else terrible if they catch yo ass.
I admire your humility and how humble you are. The falls and outtakes are great addition to the videos. Because we all fall, slip and trip up. It’s great you leave it raw and don’t edit those things out.
a few years ago my family bought acres of land (100+) and we had NO idea what was on the land (mostly trees) and we found a bunch of nice ponds and rivers. We have trout, bass, crappie, everything i could ever want to fish for.
These areas were just flooded earlier in the year so they got somewhat "stocked". The 618 had some insane flooding. Creeks turned the farm fields into lakes 50+ miles east of the Mississippi.
I love the way you take every bit of your surroundings in and delight in them. Definitely the way I've been fishing since I was a kid. Best way to fish as well. Not just about the fish but the whole experience.
I love how you get out and do what you want to. Most people would see how far they would have to walk and go to a lake where all they have to do is steer a trolling motor. Great video and keep up the good work
Looks like a lot of fun. I wish I lived somewhere that had small ponds everywhere where you could just go and fish all day without there being fifteen other people fishing.
The thing I love about your videos is that they're very possible to do for your average Angler. They're great inspiration! Watching guys catch Muskie is great and everything, but I like to see the techniques that you're using when you catch Bass/Panfish/Trout, which you do!
That bass around 3:30 reminds me of one I pulled out dead yesterday at my neighborhood pond, needless to say it's the one thing you don't want to see floating when a pond has a massive die off in it. :(
Yes and when you have smaller ponds a 1-2 pound bass is like a 3-5 pound one in larger ponds / lakes. It's even worse when you have 2-3 that size that you pull out dead along with over a 100 Bluegill, Sunfish and Pumpkinseed, because those kinds of die offs are what kills a pond for generations (2-5 years) I know this from personal experience with my Uncle's almost 10 years back, which was about 400-500 fish of serious species and it killed off the fishing there for 3-4 summers after. This one is even worse because I can only weedless worm fish out of it due to weed overgrowth. Needless to say it's a tragic at the end of the day.
Bossk Playz pickerel and pike are so much fun to fish for. I just caught my personal best chain pickerel yesterday out of an inflatable toy raft and I can't even describe the adrenaline rush I got pulling a 20", violently thrashing fish out of the water while I'm sitting on a thin vinyl bubble of air
Adrenaline Junkie That's too bad! They are a blast to catch, we catch them so much in MN that I get tired of them sometimes. Especially when I'm going for other species like crappies or walleye.
I love this micro fishing bro and You are such a Nice person always happy and you inspired me to go fishing but i broke my rod of 100 dollars and i wanted to buy a New one but if i buy one its gotta be on sale Or something and Im waiting for that but i got sick of that and went to The local grocery store wich had fishing gear and bought my self a 8 dollar rod and reel setup and fished with it and caught a huge carp and i was so hyped and you always give me The hype to fish and go outside Thank you for that
Twan Van Heugten dude... don't ever pay $100 for a rod unless it has a special computer that tells you exactly where to cast and which bait to use. Even then don't pay $100.
Wish we had bass in the Netherlands, we do do have a pond with sunfish, somebody put them in there they are a invasive species but hella fun to catch. We got alot of roach, bream and carp here tho catched one perch, 30 roach, 3 breams and 1 carp yesterday haha. Gonna go for pike tommorow :P
Is this public or private land? I just dont want to hear a story about this cool fisherman that "wouldnt git offfa my land, so i got him wif my scatter gun".
skiball83 if there weren't any posted signs it wouldn't matter either way. Nobody can say anything without them and he looks clear from the look of it.
Trespass is Trespass is Trespass. Private land does not have to be posted, gated, fenced, roped off, barricaded or anything otherwise for a trespasser to be ok and legal. Either you have permission to be on the property, or you dont. If you do not, then you are trespassing. This is a nation wide private land owner rights issue.
Curtis Piper Nope... Trespassing usually refers intent of the person on your property. Most trespassing laws requires wilful or malicious intent of entering without permission. That intent.."willfully or maliciously" is very important, because it signifies that a person must have knowledge he is trespassing. So without a sign or a fence or another way to inform people that this is private land, you cannot prove wilful intent, so it's not trespassing. It's actually up to the land owners to inform people what is and what is not public property.
Nope. If a person does not have permission, written and in possession, it is trespassing. Obviously, the youtuber fisherman has no violent or malicious "intent" but if he does not have permission he is trespassing - plain, simple, period!!
First time I see an American fisherman who doesn't overreact and screams like a little kid when he hooks up, no effence though. But it always annoys me, great video man!
Man i love how u take shot, the video was amazing and the editing so well. I just start fishing and really fun haha. Hope u keep making more exited video!
I love all your videos bro! Im always finding off the beaten path lakes and ponds too so being from the 618 I'm always trynna see if I recognize the places. Keep up the good work!
Love your videos. My son and I love to Google Earth nearby ponds and fish them. It's a ton of fun!!! Oh that beaver was trying to cut that tree down so it can get access to the branches. It was probably a few beavers working together. Their teeth constantly grow too, so they have to chew on stuff to wear them down.
Just randomly found your vid. Change of pace for sure. Seem like a very humble dude on a fishin mission. Keep it up. I look forward to new vids. Hell possibly one day cast a few.
Growing up I had a tiny farm pond out in the middle of nowhere I used to fish. It had cattails growing all around it and was hard to fish, but the largemouth bass were HUGE. 26" huge. I wonder if the pond is still there or if it has been filled with silt by now.
Flooding from larger lakes thru watershed pathways can either stock a pond or at least 'seed stock' with eggs and some starter species. Hawks or other birds can grab a frog with a belly full of fertilized fish eggs, and drop parts or land in a tree over the pond to eat. As a kid we had a funky little pond about a block long next to a blackberry field and every manner of water creature lived in it. Ah the good old days!
the tree that was eaten up by the beaver was more bizzare to me tbh lmao😂 ...ive watched several vids and i thought they were pretty awesome, im hit that subcribe😎
I dig fishing little ponds that nobody thinks of fishing, my brother and I fish a old quarry that filled with its very small but you catch some nice bass, perch, break and crappie
Im from indiana, and we have creeks we can walk and catch some of the prettiest blue gills, small mouth, huge pumpkin seeds, creek chubs. Great video, i may do one from here like yours. Good kob.
I love those Rebel Craws. They are my go to bait. Caught about every species on one. Just killer. Love the vids !! I do lots of similar type fishing. The wife and I like to get the kayaks back into these backwater ponds too. We have a local one that fills with pike after a flood etc. Makes for a fun time. Keep posting and I will keep watching !!
I fish remote places the same way worth goggle maps the last 5 or 6 years and caught some of my biggest bass walking thru woods to ponds that are never fished, but I throw bigger stuff and iut never fails. I can always use smaller stuff in a medium casting rod and also pitch jigs into that brush where the big boys are. Awesome video!
There is this park in our neighborhood and I haven’t been back there but about a year ago I went back there with a pole just expecting a few ditches but there was a big pond. It was loaded with BIG Bass, Catfish, Carp, Bluegill, and Crappie. Go there all the time now and catch a PB almost every time.
The beaver was chewing on it to wear the teeth down. It had no intentions of taking it to the damn. They eat the saplings and bring down the small trees for damn and chew on the big ones. Great video I love finding these little jems
This fishing adventure was shot entirely on PUBLIC PROPERTY. I do not condone trespassing. You should always ask permission before fishing on someone else’s property. Thanks for watching and tight lines!
Nice fishing sir
Really lol
618 Fishing how fun!

Me and my boys (the kids) love tiny pond fishing!
I admire your humility and how humble you are. The falls and outtakes are great addition to the videos. Because we all fall, slip and trip up. It’s great you leave it raw and don’t edit those things out.
SOO CLOSE to 100K man!!! Happy for you!!!

a few years ago my family bought acres of land (100+) and we had NO idea what was on the land (mostly trees) and we found a bunch of nice ponds and rivers. We have trout, bass, crappie, everything i could ever want to fish for.
Nice fish for a small pond. Thank you for all of these cool videos. Nick ,You are one of the reason that fishing is still alive.
Sometimes i wonder how fishes end up in such small isolated ponds while the lake by my house has nothing
I wonder the same.
First Name Birds
First Name the birds carry fish eggs sometimes on their feet
A lot of times birds feet and also floods
These areas were just flooded earlier in the year so they got somewhat "stocked". The 618 had some insane flooding. Creeks turned the farm fields into lakes 50+ miles east of the Mississippi.
Nice little cute Warmouth at the end! Always great to explore, for sure.

I love the way you take every bit of your surroundings in and delight in them. Definitely the way I've been fishing since I was a kid. Best way to fish as well. Not just about the fish but the whole experience.
Please make a 618 shirt saying "See you later buddy"

you express the simple joy of fishing well.thank you
Only just started the video and can already tell it's gonna be great!!

Absolutely love this kind of fishing. I grew up in Arkansas. All kinds of hidden ponds and creeks. Love your video. Keep on keeping on.

You are one of my favorite TH-camr best editing ever
Almost at 100k man, been watching you since less than 60k...well deserved man keep it up
Being a uk angler the closet thing we have to bass is perch or pike and there are usually caught in ponds like that
Bossk Playz I love pike fishing
Bossk Playz I live in the U.S and I've never caught a pike sadly. One day I will though!
Adrenaline Junkie

J S I live in Iowa so there isn't as much pike but I'd love to catch one. Same goes with Muskie
I love watching your videos after work, it helps me relax. Great Video Nick!

Love your vids, This is the best kind of fishing... no boat needed!
Is this public or private land? I just dont want to hear a story about this cool fisherman that "wouldnt git offfa my land, so i got him wif my scatter gun".
Around where I live, if you are on someone's land fishing without permission, you will not have a good time.

Really cool to see someone on here near me! Im up near hamel all the time in Gillispie, I live in Granite City. Happy fishing

First video i seen, really nice edit and fish, subbed to the channel.
World needs more people like this dude.
Yet another great video! 👍🏼
the tree that was eaten up by the beaver was more bizzare to me tbh lmao😂 ...ive watched several vids and i thought they were pretty awesome, im hit that subcribe😎
Cool little spot, I might have to go there. I have passed it along but really never gave it a shot due to always flooding.
I dig fishing little ponds that nobody thinks of fishing, my brother and I fish a old quarry that filled with its very small but you catch some nice bass, perch, break and crappie
That was a awesome video. Thank for sharing the adventure
Great little adventure...I suggest checking for ticks.
Growing ForBroke sounds like you guys have a lot of fun! Thanks for watching!
Lol..."That's something for a baby... it's pretty creepy" made me laugh
Hey great, thanks so much for taking me fishing with you
Awesome vid man keep going!
Nice job its always fun finding new spots and finding fish in them.
Very cool! I applaud your sense of adventure.
I enjoyed the video. Thanks for taking the time.
Cool concept -- I dig it!
@618 Fishing, what kinda of camera do u have
Nice little hidden pond bass looked like it got you by surprise
