I loved this young lady's spirit. She seems to have an old soul. Very wise. The sky is the limit. Go out on faith, Don't let fear hold you back. Yes !!! Blessings to you and family young lady. . Thanks Cartess for bringing it to us from a different perspective. The youth shall lead us on.
So touching when Rayna comforted you Cartess as you spoke about your shyness - which no one would ever guess. Really appreciate your openess and the quality of folks you interview!
Younger folks tend not to be afraid to step out of there comfort zone…….but the older folks are a little more cautious because of what they lived through and experience. I’ve watched this young lady when she was in Tanzania and she is very mature and knowledgeable for her age. Great video ❤
Cartess, mad, mad props to you! I am so thrilled that you see the potential in that young lady and you are willing to help in the way that you are. God is watching and he sees your heart, and you will be 'Blessed'! What we make happen in other people's lives good or bad, God makes happen in ours! Such a man of integrity! I cannot wait to meet you!!
Coach Rayna sounds good……that’s what she should call herself……because that’s what she’s doing coaching others to get out of there comfort zones and attack their fears.❤
Nice to see a village elder black man praising a young lady for having a plan and living her life to the fullest. I can see the pride on your face…and on hers. Beautiful site! I LOVE your channel for putting a melonated face to opportunity, family, service to others, professionalism, etc. Well done
Wonderful young lady. She reminds me a lot of myself when I was that age. I’m 37 now and had my son when I was 20. I became plant based. But never did I think of moving out of the US until at least 30.
Very inciteful, enjoyable video. Rayna is lovely. Her wisdom exceeds her. You both together joining collaboratively can do something powerful. I'm so looking forward to it. Thank you again Mr. Cartess.
I loved this interview, I’m late to this one. She asked about the energy vortex and in her conversation about it, she mentions Tulum has its own energy vortex as well. Which I’d heard but it wasn’t the energy vortex that pulls me to the country of Mexico it is indeed an energy vortex in Merida Mexico or that Yucatán state due to Chichén Itzá proximity to Merida and all lands of the Yucatán. That Merida/Yucatan energy vortex is the one i feel that pull she describes. Kudos to her for forging out so early in her life time
Rayna is an inspiration. I learned from that interview and I know there is a lot more to learn from her. Thanks Cartess for being so open- minded. You're a wonderful person Cartess.
Yesss, Cartess I am so glad you had an interview with somone who has been to Africa. Can't wait until we move there. Cartess, hoping you and the family can visit Africa one day.
I visited Chitchen Itza last year with my daughter and there is a vortex at the pyramid site. I took my shoes off and stood on the point. Later that night I had an incident where I woke up in a sweat and reflecting on my life. Luckily the subjects that came up as a result had to with extending grace to myself. I agree that the Yucatan has an energy all of its own. I still feel that when I go places here in the US that certain groups of people look at me as if they are surprised to see me there, but when I was in Valladollid and Playa del Carmen people treated me well and my tone did not require a double take.
Rayna's story is wonderful, she is just amazing! I must have missed when she talked about what work she does to afford her lifestyle. What a wonderful life she is giving her son!
Works and saves and travels (find places where she can stay for an extended period of time based on the monies she saved)... She's working on something that'll allow her to stay gone next time around.
I feel that the take away is that Rayna is very careful with the money she earns. She isn’t extravagant by any means. She doesn’t waste money. There are people who make over $100,000 and live pay check to pay check. Rayna is disciplined and determined. At a young age she pushed aside the desire to be a reckless consumer. I also don’t think anyone has to share specifically how they earn a living. It’s okay to maintain some privacy.
@@pearlperlitavenegas2023 I didn’t think so. Cartess had already mentioned this upcoming interview. I adore Cartess and his family. Cartess does a lot of good so I no I’m not open to labeling anything he does as contrived.

Rayna is very genuine, warm and mature. Really enjoyed her experiences and perspective. Another good video Cartess. Young, Old and all the in between makes for interesting content. Thanks for all you do.
Well the lovely Coach Rayna gently expanded my mind. ❤️🧘🏾♀️ So many moments in this conversation were pure and allowed me to exhale. The way Rayna hopped up to check on her baby touched me and was very telling of the depth of her compassion. The way she comforted you proved what we know and that is that you are a warm and caring person Cartess. If the people of Merida are half as warm and caring as you two Merida must really be a soft place to land.
This was a WONDERFUL video. Rayna is a beautiful soul! So sweet! And SMART! I will definitely support her! Thank you so much for posting this, Cartess. I really enjoy all of your content. ❤
As usual, great content Mr. Cartess. You dislike talking. Amazing young lady. She remind me of myself as a teen. I use to just drive and end up in another State, then in 2007 I began to travel international. You Go Girl!
She has such a beautiful spirit, very intelligent young lady. This was a great interview.I got my temp Visa in April and preparing to relocate soon! I also extended my stay when I was there… I did not want to leave!
Haha.. I'm like Cartess. I'm an intervert and avoid people at all cost. I enjoy being by myself. Lockdown was a blessing for me, because I didn't have to make any excuses to my friends not to go out. I'm an intervert with friends. Loved this interview. Best of luck to her. Tia Niki said also there is a vortex too..
Great interview. I was 22 yrs when I started travelling alone. My first trip was to New York and I loved it so much that I went back every year for about 4 years. I haven't stopped travelling since. I live abroad in Tanzania and I've lived in Asia. Once you start travelling, you can't stop
I lived in Tanzania. I rented a brand new 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom house for $380./ month. We left and went to Mexico for some months as well. Good for her!
Tanzania is very affordable. If you can deal with the people you can live well. I had 10/ 8 bedroom house for $600 a month. I know people who pay $50 a month for a 3/3
I've lived a budget life and me and my husband are free from government telling us when to retire and where I can retire. Own stuff and it owns you. Own property or assets and you own it. Cars cost you money. Receipts are just telling you a story about the history of your SPENT money.
@belltowndaisy we have a car, but we live in England UK and we pay 70% tax on petrol. High road tax and the rest. My point was when you buy a car it does not keep its value or make you money. A house or money in the bank does. Thanks for the advice.
@belltowndaisy no problems, it's good to Listen and learn. So we can all live our best. You ask your family about the daily charge just to drive to work or shops if you live in London, it's criminal.
check flights from atlanta to Cancun. You can take a 5 hour bus ride from cancun into merida and thatll save u money. Also, check to see how much it is to fly into merida from other airports near atlanta (think Charlotte, Greenville SC, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Hilton Head).
Tulum...for me...every personal hang-up feels magnified in the US. Rediclous daily questions such as "should I wear this" or "am I impressive enough" seem to take way too much of most people's minds. US society reminds me of it everyday and in every way. I have to fight to remain grounded and authentic. In Tulum it all falls away, almost instantly and naturally. It's just brings me back to the essentials of being human.
Do you get mad when you are driving. I always catch myself in the states getting upset when I drive. Then I have to breathe and chill. It’s like I’m on edge.
@belltowndaisy I live outside Chicago. I can’t leave yet but that’s why I watch channels like MAAT so I can prepare myself. I am married with teenage daughters so the time will come but I have to get my wife into this lifestyle slowly.
I got mad at the driving here when i first got here lol. The stuff they do is completely different from the US. If you get mad in the US, the driving here will drive you insane lol. But it got better once i learned to adapt to their ways. My wife and i were talking today about how you can honk your car horn at every car and no one is gonna flick you off and they aint gonna curse you out. But as the @belltowndaisy suggested, bring the family down for a visit. Thatll get the ball rolling much faster. Let them see the possibilities.
