    Good morning from Toronto ✌🏻 I paused video playback to say I agree 100% Mexicans have charm because their manners and ways are far more polite than us North Americans. Not all, but the majority. They have social graces which still are in practice and they matter. In NA we start off tel convos by rushing in! When addressing a Mexican, you must extend courtesy and do not just get to what you are asking for. Say Buenos dias, etc Honestly, I hope Mexicans never lose their customs or culture. 🇲🇽

    I’m planning an exploratory trip there in January 2025! I’m so excited! Because of your channel and Stephanie Perry’s channel! I’m a black woman from a rural city Florida.

      It is hard to understand why anyone would want to live in that boiling heat, especially in a city that has so many power cuts

    This was a good interview. If you’re still there. Go to Hennessys Irish pub for their wings on Paseo de Montego if you get a chance. Did you get temporary residency or permanent residency? The only time I could tell the socioeconomic status of anyone was when I went to city center 32 in Montebello . I agree I walked Centro during the night and Calle 62 going for pizza and going to nice lounges. The Architecture looks old there but they are some gems in the rough.

    Shes gonna be disappointed with the food then. Example I love Italian but the Mexican Italian food tasted different even the cheese and tomato sauce. The ground beef tastes different, the Subway restaurant food tasted different, IHOP. It may be an American flare but its not. Even the Yucatanian food has a taste you have to get use to. When I visited I wanted tacos but of course its not American Mexican tacos so i had to get use to that as well. Its all different and it will either make you or break you. 😊

    I hope she decides to do her move without your help with those ridiculous prices you are charging your own people. So Sad

    • @MoveAbroadandThrive
      @MoveAbroadandThrive  หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      SMH ... Plenty of people pay. Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean it's ridiculous. It just means you can't afford it. I've been doing this for nearly 3 years and you have no idea the non-sense we put up with for folks. I think I've done a great service in which I've provided a ton of information on this very channel for anyone to do this themselves for FREE, and at no cost if they wish to do the groundwork themselves. There's over 600 videos I've posted on this channel to assist and help and share information with people. Probably over 1,000 hours of content I've posted, not counting the insane number of hours walking and sweating in the sun to bring this information to unappreciative folks like you. How much more of my time do you feel you're entitled to Clyde? You feel I should drop everything and cater to your needs when you decide to move here? Do you feel so entitled to tell me how much I should charge? How much more do you wanna take Clyde? I've given a lot for FREE (more than you've given). You're one of those folks who like to take take and take until you there's nothing left to take.... I'm here living my life with my family, and if I have to leave my house and spend my time assisting, it's gonna cost (thus my fees). I don't necessarily want to get out here and do this work for everyone, but I'm willing to get out and do the work for the fee I charge. This is not a necessity for me, and my prices reflect that (i charge higher fees to limit the number of people I work with). I'm not trying to work with a bunch of people every month -- relocation assistance is a lot of work. It's one of the most stressful times in a person's life when they move to a totally new country, and a lot of that stress and frustration is thrown at me. I tolerate a lot when dealing with people moving here. I don't do this because I need too. I do it because I get to choose who I work with, and I do it when I want to. I'd rather be at the beach enjoying my free time (not necessarily spending it with you for a few hundred bucks Clyde). I can't afford a Rolls Royce, but you don't see me on their channel whining about how ridiculous their cars and prices are.. OMG... So, if you don't want to get out there and do the work yourself, in order to find a place for yourself, don't be mad at me because you can't afford it. Plenty of folks do the research and do it themselves. They don't pay me or anyone else. You just can't be cheap and lazy... Get on the computer and do the research. Get on the groups and ask questions. Get on a plane and come vet the place for yourself. You don't need to pay me. But on the other-hand, you've seen countless other folks on this channel via the interviews that have paid for our services and for the convenience of having someone like me assist. There are other WAY cheaper options out there for ya, and I hope you find one that works for your budget. Our services aren't for folks looking for $300/month rent. Our services are targeted for a particular caliber of people. You just don't fit the bill Clyde. Anyhow, have a fantastic night. I'll be at the beach tomorrow -- holla if you need something Clyde... In the mean time, work it out brotha, and your comment suggest your mentality won't (well, I'll stop there). Take a deep look inside and get that sorted out my brotha... Just plain spiteful. SMH

      @@MoveAbroadandThrive I moved to Merida a couple months ago, and I did it on my own because I like doing stuff myself (it might be a control freak thing). BUT, it took A LOT of my time to figure things out before I felt comfortable enough to make the move. This ain’t like moving from Georgia to California. I watched A LOT (and I mean A LOT) of youtube videos (many of them yours) and perused dozens, maybe hundreds of websites, and for me, it was a lot of work. And many times I caught myself getting into “rabbit holes.” In other words, it was challenging, not easy.
      If I had decided to seek out help to make the process easier and provide more comfort that I was using accurate information, then I would have wanted someone knowledgeable like yourself to help me. IMO, it’s kind of like building a house: You don’t go for the cheapest builder; you want one you can trust even if it costs more.
      Thanks for your videos!!

      He has had so many people come on the channel who have given testimonies of how invaluable his service was to them. It sounds like he goes all out in every aspect. Getting top-notch service is worth every penny, and anyone who provides top-notch service has EARNED the money.
      Let me give you an example. My cousin does my hair. I have never tried to get a discount or expected one because she is my cousin. I pay what she charges everyone, and she is not cheap because she KNOWS her work is top-notch.
      I get tired of the narrative that black people have to provide quality service way below market prices to help our people. Do you think all black people are broke??? Why don't you think black people who are providing a quality service deserve to earn good money?
