    This video shows how to use the Switch-N-Go Roll-off dump bed system. I load the bed onto our F-550 XL and then dump the metal off at the local scrap metal yard!
    As always, thanks for tuning in, and if you liked the video please consider subscribing!

    I like this idea for the average truck owner ,you can load your trailer on the ground then pull the trailer up ,would need some weld on tie down hooks to secure your loads

    How much does a set up like that cost?

    Nice system is it easy to load I was looking at hook lift trying to compare the two systems

    • @WesleyAllenNC
      @WesleyAllenNC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it’s pretty easy to load. Also, the tailgate is long and swings REAL wide on this thing. I don’t use it daily so I can’t really attest to its longevity and real-world abilities. It’s just being used for weekly metal dumps currently

    Hey Wesley, I was wondering how the Chassis holds up to weather (Rain, Snow, etc) around the 10:53 you see some wiring exposed, and the electrical motor especially. How do you keep it dry in inclement weather? Or if the dumpster gets soaked after heavy rain, etc. Any issues?

    • @WesleyAllenNC
      @WesleyAllenNC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we later installed / fashioned a small plastic cover for those wires. They never really got wet since the truck was either covered or had a bed on it. Without the bed they were exposed though. The truck has now been parked outside for the past 6 months or so (sometimes without the bed) and no issues so far..

      @@WesleyAllenNC appreciate the response! Hopefully someone has designed a dump bed that's capable of doing so. Just set your chains and open the gate should be a very easy bed to make. I know dump trailer's have this feature but wasn't sure if the switch n go had it as well. Thank ya much!

    • @WesleyAllenNC
      @WesleyAllenNC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your probably better off towing a trailer for lawn equipment (I’m guessing). This trailer tilts at a very high angle when loading and unloading.

      I would say it appears to be a 10 yard maybe 15 max ,,,if you pay attention he plainly called it a trailer therefor it’s a trailer when you off load and reload the can it becomes a trailer
