V6 challenger owner here, before this video was released I did extensive research, I ended up going with the dyno max race bullets, they sound absolutely amazing, very deep, no rasp, and little drone. I highly reccomend 🎉
I agree with you. People throw too much hate to this engine. When in reality they are not so far behind from the v8. The sound in the other hand. Nothing compares to the hemi that’s a fact.
The best way to set up a v6 is to stop trying to make it sound like a v8, and remember to either keep the muffler or the resonators to get rid of some of the trumpet sound
hello, how can i make my SXT sounds good without removing mid mufflers and resonators? i live in NJ and it's not allowed to remove resonators... Please help!
I'm just wondering, I need some help, 2019 dodge journey GT, the V6 engine. Looking for some mufflers that aren't obnoxious. Think you can point me in the right direction?
If you get a car that big, the V8 is the better choice because the V6s are weak and break down quicker than the upper trim levels. Some of them are going used at the same price as the V6s. 😂
😂😂😂 whp told you they brealk down? ive owned 3 pentastars with no problems. i have 2 hemis now and 1 is at 70 k with a wiped cam. stop talking gibberish.
@@CB12345That’s cap! We are in a Dealer Tax nation wide! Even used R/T are going for 38k and up! V6 are the only thing pretty low! At 27k and lower used! Stop the cap!
At least with Chargers/Challengers, I agree. They do make supercharger kits for them, but that's a lot of weight for the 3.6 in a RWD car. They aren't much (if at all) faster than the FWD and lighter Chrysler 200. Hell, even a Pacifica lol

#3 is the best imo because it's not too loud, quiet or raspy at all which is just what you need honestly
Most of the hatred for the V6 are coming from guys still driving their mother's Honda Civic 😂😂😂
And guys that are 65 days late on their v8 car note...lol
i think that people hate too much on these. they are still fun to drive, good sounding (proven here), and are more efficient then the v8's
this is coming from a v8 Porsche owner
Yes. I have both and I enjoy my v6

Dyno Max Race Bullets for the win🤘
Last one was the loudest... Green one with the J pipe sounded the best.

Aero chambers sound great on that engine. They have a deep tone if your into that for the v6. Plus not many have them compared to the other brands.
Dude put the Demon hood on his car! Ok ok!
Gotta go with #3 on revs alone
I have the Big Boz 5 muffler on my 5.7 silverado, not too loud and not too quiet, super deep tone.
14 chrysler 300 s 3.6 sounds just like the 3rd one with duel magnaflow and mid muffler delete
#3 and the last one sounded the best
I’d have to go with the green one. Best overall sound.
Liked the first one wow
Why get a v8 when you get 300hp in the v6? And its way way cheaper and less likely to get jacked
I liked #4. If i used the magnaflow, can i replace the factory resonators with a "sportier" resonator? Is there such a thing?
How long would it take you guys typically to do a straight pipe? I feel like the shops near me overcharged me crazy for my exhaust work.
At least 5 thousand
Uh ohhh you guys are in Tennessee too. I HAVE to be on volume 4

what size was rhe big boys let me know??
Would the vibrant bottle number 1791 be the same for a 2018 dodge challenger SXT Plus ?
5 and 4 are good because they’re not too loud and don’t get trumpety like 3 and up
3 sounds like an Honda. I think 1 has that sound
Best way to enjoy v6 is to do it straight pipe , resenator and muffler delete 😂😂… and you get loud and nice
Magnapacks for me

Or in this video are these interchangeable with the 3.6 V6 journey.
Is the BigBoz 5. 2.5 or 3 inches?
I would put bigger diameter pipe and some quite flows
#3 sounds like a VQ
Those sounds great!
No Borla cat back?
Yes mild I like
People love it they tell me they can here me good
I hate when these things are revved high while in park... other than that, it's solid .. I've had the Big Boz for about 2-3 months now
nsx from the back
Big Boz 5 for me.
whats the estimated cost on a job like this?

imo #4 sounded the best...Dynomax Race Bullets

Toobad these engines aren't at least bigger in displacement and or 90° V6's

MENGA MINT!!!
Flowmaster is the worst sounding muffler on a v6.
Garcia Ronald Williams Jennifer Lee Larry
Exhaust mod on a V6 is like wearing a golds gym tank top when you bench 120.
Just because it’s loud doesn’t mean it sounds good.

def true jus not everyone can afford the v8’s
V6 better on gas
Ya ok

my first V6 lasted 225k miles...
just get a V8
Exactly. These V6 models are weak and the funny thing is used V8 models are going for less or the same as the V6s. 😂
