A gentleman in the true sense of the word and a beautiful surfer to watch...Cheers Mr Slater for the joy of you have given many of us surfers and surfing in general. Fine example of how a man can behave....based on what I have seen over his career.

The cinematography and editing is insane.
Kelly is a trophy for mens health he has worked very hard to keep his head in check. all you bros watching this you can achieve this too.

I've been missing Kelly... He had been building so much momentum and that foot story, I thought it was a JOKE for sure!
Sometimes life gives you something different for a reason and with this down time, I'm sure he's fixing all of those little issue that combine to become to a big mess. He has more than enough time to secure any number of titles he could ever want... When you can surf at his level with his consistency and always evolving with more knowledge, you've got a God given gift. A gift through which he has inspired more people than we'll ever know.
Great story telling and an amazing insight into Kelly's way.

I watch Kelly surf here in Santa Barbara county sometimes. I get out of water and just blow my mind at how far above normal humans, he can surf, and be normal cool person above all. Just a pleasure to know. Need more like him.

His loss to Medina at snapper was another example of the WSL judge's contradictory scoring rules. As a former professional during the Bud Tour 87-90, the crap the judges pull today would never been tolerated then.
