@@TallGarage hey, just be lucky he does know how his system works. Because it would not be funny trying to find things needed. Lol And what is up with the piece of a bus? Whoever was holding the camera when walking by it. I was expecting a full bus. Not a piece of a bus 😂
Hi i just subscribed to your channel last week i couldn't help noticing the pictures of the 9 models where did you find the pictures?? im just curious because i think my uncle's Kenworth is in the pictures @ 4:26 thanks for letting me know love that your going to build that truck you just picked cant wait for More videos on it i love it awesome score.. appreciate ya saving it😊😊 My uncle's truck is 1977 W900a
She's going back on the road to work, the previous truck we did a frame up restoration on was unfortunately in a head on collision, so this is it's replacement, sadly no time for.the full make over.
@@TallGarage yes. Thats the “ Outlaw Route” Overweight and pay no tolls 😂Only problem was when DOT set up under that overpass you guys pulled into. Then C.B. Would tell you to cut into the woods. Or take your chances, hoping they were busy with other trucks. Keep on Truck’in
A model long hood Kenny's are about as common as a unicorn. Shame about KT Cummins there a great engine but like the man said " hard to find parts for " . Most KT's are all bought up by "sled pullers " . Put out unbelievable torque/ horsepower but won't run past a diesel pump . Milage is measured in Gallons per Mile not Miles per Gallon.
KT was worn out, engine he replaced it with was worn out, he liked the next truck he got to pull the engine out so much he parked the kenworth and drove it instead.
@@TallGarage 1978 sitting in the yard with a BC Cummins. TRi-State out of Colorado runs big hood 9oos and has for years. Kta cummins were never rare. Spencer's out of Pennsylvania has several plus salvage parts.
Dad is awesome.
He knows what and where everything goes to or came from.
Organized chaos.
I love it. 😅
He has his own system that's for sure.

@@TallGarage Thanks for response. Always interested in history of parked trucks.
Ext hood W900s from the 70,s and 80,s were not rare. Neither are KTA Cummins.
