Awesome build man! I love a hot inline 6 a Ford 300 is one of my very favorite can't wait until we see it in something!
We're trying to shoe horn it into a fox body right now
@@TallGarage I can't wait to see it! Keep posting and I'll keep watching!
i can’t wait!!!! 😮
Pimpx ecu bro. It's a modern MS3 ECU that is plug and play with all EEC IV Ford harnesses. It's way cheaper than the Holly and comes with more features without paying extra for a premium.
I'll have to look into it.
@@TallGarageI have some videos on my TH-cam channel that show it a bit also. I run it on my turbo Efi 460 truck with coil on plug, sequential fuel, flex fuel, boost control, methanol, 6R80, etc
@@johnvirgilsgarageI’m gonna check it out that’s coooool
This Turbo Hybrid LS Ford 300 Inline 6 should be great.
Sorry I am late to the party, but I really enjoyed seeing the engine come together, I am looking forward to hear this one run
I love seeing these builds. Inline sixes are some of my favorite engines, I just hate how some aren't crossflow. Clifford once claimed they were going to make a crossflow for these but never did. Somebody needs to make them, either based off the LS or 300m, or whatever.
I just don't know if enough people would buy them to make it worth it

You would have to create the market for that by showing the power potential. Then you would have to sell the whole package as a bolt on upgrade. If the power potential is high enough and you can sell kits affordable enough you might have to quit your job and start a business making Ford 300 LS head kits.
To grow your company you can start offering other innovations like a cross flow aluminum head for a 292 L6 Chevy made from 2 sbc aluminum heads.
And for the Ford 300 you can offer late model Hemi head swap kits for the Mopar fans, this swap kit would need to include a custom cam but those heads flow even better than LS heads do.
Then there would be the L6 4.0L Jeep engines that a set of sbc heads could be made to fit this engine but would need 2 seams. One head the 2 end cylinders would need to be removed and the other one would need to be cut down the center right in half and welded to the center section. This will give you the proper cam orientation so the factory cam can be retained.
There are 4 banger engines that can benefit from a V8 head as well but the above is enough to get your business going.😎👍
I've always heard TH-cam channel creators mention some subscribers being taken off their sub's list by TH-cam... Well, it happened to me on and to this channel... Geez... I missed a lot... loving the progress... Thanks for keeping us up to date...
Wild, ive heard mention but this is the first time ive seen it,.
Wow there needs to be new castings for that head you just made a LS almost But inline 6 1 of one WOW. Just heard of Ls 3.6 four Banger, Ls V12 , Regular Aluminum and Iron And Recently Heard of a ls V10. But keep up the Great work you got a new Sub.
@@marcw2604 thanks boss
most definitely put a wastegate in the side of the manifold to keep things simple or in the turbine housing.
You know that's what I was thinking like right above the turbo flange
re: ECU, the 2008 and 2009 trailblazer/envoy/rainier/ascender/bravada/9-7X used the E67 with the Atlas 4200 I-6. It's programmable.
Fair
A Corvette LS fuel filter has a built-in regulator that keeps rail pressure at 58psi. NAPA/Wix 33737.
Yeah but its not boost reference.
Man in maunee oh at miches welding did same thing carb on it 9 years ago with hei. That lady at him but it ran
Those are definitely words.
ill give miches a call, its only an hour from me
Miches welding in maumee huh? So he could weld me a custom head on my 300 huh?
Dope build! Can't wait till you get started on your E30 build! Question.... have you looked into the inline six chevy ecu?
i have, my main problem is the older stuff p0q/p59 cant do sequential* (they can but only one guy has access to the hack he created to do so and isnt sharing) and the newer stuff e38 and e67 can do it, there are as easy to tune.
Dear god more 300 content. NO ONE has gotten one of these on a dyno
@@DaTam-p4g ran out of money boss, I'm trying
@@TallGarage unfortunately. That's always the case with most 300 content. I totally understand. Wish I could contribute. Such a crazy buikd
@@DaTam-p4g 4000 subscribed, 1$ each a month, man I could have in on the Dyno in no time, oh well. Lol
Quality project. I’m on board as I have 2 of these engines. Is there a parts list breakdown anywhere?
Thank for building cool ideas.
well i go over the stuff throughout my videos i dont think there is a true list yet
Next ls head inline 5 i hope come on GM The had the atlas in the Envoy inline 6 and Colorado inline 5 than stopped. Waist of engineering and money a lot of company's have done they could improved on its flaws i heard it had.
There are rare versions of this engine in possibly late 1995 and 1996 F150's that used an OBDII ECU and are relatively easy to tune, but all earlier versions are on the EEC-IV system and they not only suck to tune, they tend not to shoot codes when the engine has major issues, so yeah, I don't recommend them for tuning, or for anything at all for that matter. I literally hate EEC-IV at this point.
yeah its still a 30 year old ecu tho
Do you know that your build keeps showing up on my Facebook feed under Hot Rod and Motor Trend magazine?
I hope so! part two of the build just went live today on hot rod lol, sums up the build so far, it's really come a long way since part one
Any updates on this?
kinda, got stuck, money is tight and i got the wrong fittings
If going turbo, wasn't it a waste of time to cut up better heads? The turbo doesn't care if the heads flow better
youll make more power on less boost, so no it isnt since itll proform better in all loads not just at top boost, lots of factors, better heads are always better.
@@TallGarage I agree, but he put a hell of a lot of work into those heads
@@dapetik is he me?
@@TallGarage yes! 😂 You put a lot of work into it!
A crossflow head is always better for performance.

Speeduino ecu
I wish I had one to mess with
I’m watching cause I’m working many 300’s and I’m a fan of the project. I understand life gets in the way but honestly man you’ve dragged your feet on this project. Should have capitalized when you had everyone by the balls. Just my friendly opinion
