Hey, quick question. im currently following a guide about impale shockwave cyclone and literally half the damage on that pob is from impale. but i only see harpooner as an impale source. so i though, getting some more impale effect and chance by getting merciless skewering and forceful skewering would be a huge damage buff. but it does less than 6% total damage. how is that possible? getting higher impale chance should be huge, especially with master of metal ascendancy right?
I still don't understand why brutality is better than having elemental and chaos dmg? like burning, shock, freezing monsters? not even chaos dmg which most monsters don't have resistant to...
Because shockwave has a cooldown, which cannot be bypassed with higher attack speed. Higher AS will only use up your stored charges faster, but once they are gone, you have to wait until shockwave recharges its uses. And that waiting part makes higher AS irrelevant.
Well, you know how it goes on softcore sometimes, not everybody cares about chaos res. You can get it instead of some offensive stats on gear tho, it just wasn't a priority for the dude who created this character
Honestly i got about 25mdps and i dont really care about chaos res . Honestly -15% is fine. I would prefer some spell suppression and or 90% phys reduction tonhelp with burst . Once u get spinning and leeching u just dont die. Its just getting into first gear . And this build just destroys delirium maps
Ryslatha's is essentially BiS (at least affordably) for melee because in increases your dps and gives a good amount of life and life sustain. If you don't mind losing that for the headhunter then go for it. It's not going to brick the build to swap them.

Your PoB shows Manacost 0 for the skills. And I can't figure out how did you achieve that. Mine is showing the default 8 Mana for the Cyclone usage
The chest piece has -20 mana cost to all socketed attack skills, so you build your cyclone into that. kinda pricey but worth it.

There is a big mana sustain issue for auras

@@dervakommtvonhinten517 it is damage, but not based on attack speed, rather your base damage. It deals enough damage for people to play it

Possible to run this with a Headhunter instead of the Ryslathas?

Could you go over a Cyclone Fire Build?
Can I ask why use warstaff over mauls? I play on console and there are literally like 2 war staffs on market
Carried to 100 by a five way most likely. Build is squishy as fuck.
Most cyclone builds are squishy, the premise in soft core cyclone is to kill the things before they insta kill you
@@StatTheMusicFinder Nowadays there are enough monsters who can take a couple seconds to kill even with 10+ million dps.
