Yeah he wrote the whole scenario for durandal that is one of the better written character subplots in hi3 plus the fact he is the writer of hsr version of the flame chasers one of my favorite honkai groups is just icing on the cake.
Same, I just hate how they make surten characters necessary for other characters... makes me feel like I need to pull for female characters as well T-T I felt forced to pull for Ruan Mei for my Boothill, I felt forced to pull for Sparkle for my IL, and now I regret not pulling for Robin for my Jing yuan and Dr Ratio... And NOW I'm also feeling forced to pull for Tribbie for my Blade and future Mydei T-T

HSR is a lot generous in terms of rewards, but I'll have to pre-plan and save a lot of them cause I'm so confused whom to let go and whom to pull rn. I like almost all of them. Also, probably this is the high time for me to learn Honkai Impact lore a bit, specifically 'flamechasers' part.
My advice to you is to either play the game yourself, watch someone else play the game or pace yourself with which other method you choose, it's harder to appreciate the story because it was written with the game's update schedule in mind.

I learned my lesson after Genshin Impact. I no longer need every character and their signature weapon. I’ve been casually pulling since launch in HSR and I’ve collected everything I’ve wanted gradually.
so many choices! I'm happy to see supports for dead archetypes like HP manipulation, I wish one day we can finally get the DOT support we need to make it somewhat relevant again.
I'm very excited about version 3.0, I was really looking forward to the variants of Kevin and Elysia, but I didn't expect that all the reference flamechasers would appear in version 3.0. I was very happy when I saw that the characters I really wanted to use would finally appear in a different game. Especially Elysia, man I really miss her figure and cute voice. The point is that I will prepare all my SJs to focus on gacha Phainon and Cyrene while waiting for their banners to appear. As a honkai impact 3 player, their appearance is really enough to make me tear up
I hope Hoyo can release many 4-star characters who have synergy really well with 5-star characters like March 7th and Feixiao but thanks for the video🙏
Aglaea reminds me of two of my favorite characters: Aigis from Persona 3 and Artoria from the Fate series, and I'm almost pulling for her just for that reason... but I must stay F2P and pick my characters very carefully (thanks btw, your channel is the best source of leaks imo)
