With the numbers that have been seen, he looks like blade pro max, but that auto battle on his kit looks like Will be his Achiles' heel. And with Castorice pretty much doing what he does just tells me only two things: 1 - they wanna do the mydei tribbie castorice fu xuan team comp 🤪, 2 - this is Waifu Star Rail therefore a man can't lead up an archetype for more than 1-2 patches which really is sad to me 😢

@Alsonotgamerspalsh 200 pulls are enough for the guaranteed, and for the HP he just needs 8K for the max crit rate buff from the trace, but the more he has, the better he is
I feel like Remembrance Trailblazer will be an awesome f2p support for all of these characters. The Herta, Aglea, and now Mydei are crit.based dps characters, and our trailblazer will be a crit supporter with advance forward and true damage. Thank god they are giving him for free so you won't feel bad if you skip (in this case) someone like Tribbie who will be maybe best in slot for Mydei. Anyway, knowing how cool is Mydei, i don't really know who to choose between him and The Herta, since i miss both elements (ice and imaginary) to cover on my account.😅

I would say that depends, maybe Bronya could be a good pick? On my side, I plan to use Sunday with him I'm not entirely good with team building or think smart so yeah.. Just try to see who seem to fit him the most and it should be okay How about you say who do you have as of now? I'll try to help :)

ughhhhh 🙏 PLEASE let him synergize with castorice we found out that the slow spd set was for tribbie, not castorice, so im wondering how she'd work without sunday imagine: mydei-castorice-tribbie - tribbie buffs both of them - mydei can tank so castorice doesn't die (really useful if castorice takes away a lot of hp from teammates because mydei can self revive) - castorice can take away hp from teammates, helping mydei - castorice and tribbie benefit from the fact that they all are hp scaling units (high teamwide total hp = higher dmg, both castorice and tribbie work that way but not mydei) so mydei's 15k hp will really help both of them sustain could be huohuo because she scales off hp as well. the only problem is that her atk buff gets wasted. maybe that 4* healer could also work (mr reca? pls)
@eee2107 I don't think that's accurate. FUA units most used together are Robin, Adventurine, Feixiao, and Topaz/Moze/March. At worst, that's 4 5 stars, and at best, that's 3. Break is Firefly, Ruan Mei, HMC, and Gallagher. And the options for alternates include swapping BOTH Gallagher and HMC for 2 Limited 5 star units (Lingsha and Tingyun2). The only team comp that could do without a bunch of 5 stars is an Acheron Nihility team. And that's only because Acheron herself does so much damage.

But mydei seems good If u going to get castorice I recommend him, I hope they don't nerf or powercreep him!
Im pretty happy that his technique no longer requires multiple imaginary teammates. Kinda sad the Quake dmg E2 is gone, but ofc his kit isnt set til release. Im pulling him no matter what, but im curious as to what the final mydei kit will look like :')

There's always going to be power creep, even those overpowered units will eventually get power creep. If you're not getting characters you actually want or like, then the game might become much less fun, and the whole point of a game is to be fun 😁
@ oh I definitely know that. I collect the men characters so I have full accepted they will be powercrept but HSR does it too much tbh. I get the male characters but I also want to clear game content so I even suck it up and pull all the supports. But even then blade and DanIL (and other 1.x units) perform so badly nowadays

Serious question. Massive perpetual power creep can't actually exist right? Because eventually there'd exist a character that can 1 shot everything and there'd be no topping that. So I say all of this to say, maybe, just maybe, power creep or meta chasing isn't everything. Shouldn't you just pull for who you like? Also, let's not forget they also seem to create characters and relics to make older characters better. Like what Sunday did for Jing Yuan. So clearly they realize they HAVE to buff older kits periodically.
Although he doesen't look really strong(he hasn't an hp scaling support that suits him), i'll definetly pull for him and his sig. skipping the herta and aglaea. I want to pull what i truly like and not the new meta breaker waifu. Also it's still not over for him cause the devs are still working and testing him, so his kit could change positively and who knows, a new hp scaling support could arrive in the next patches

I love all aspects of Mydei's kit so far, and he's looking like the next best Blast-type DPS whose entire gimmick is to tank a lot of hits while dishing a lot of damage. But the question is, will his ~500% taunt value outshine or be useless againt Tingyun/Fugue's unnatural taunt value?
This is the first time I fell in love with a character and deeply hated his gameplay. I'm still unsure whether to pull for him or not. He is by far the most interesting character in Amphoreus for me, but his style of gameplay doesn't appeal to me at all!

What's baffles me with this character is how easy he is to build, you get 48% CR from hus traces, 16 CR from his BiS relic (longevous) and the new planar that gives 8% cr, not to mention the base 5% cr, over all that's 77% cr already, without CR rolls, what is that character LoL, I'll be expecting 20/300 Ratio builds from him
hopefully we'll get an hp buffing support soon then, since he'll hardly need to build any crit rate which will make him have a bunch of crit dmg which is already super abundant in literally every harmony character so he's gonna have a looooot more than necessary, maybe the hp buffer helps blade too? ngl i also hope they get rid of the autoplay thing, i think they should just do the same thing as jingliu where the normal attack is just not usable, if they want the autoplay option, then theres always the button at the top of the screen lol

Not gonna lie, I find him a bit underwhelming and I hope he will be buffed, he have the survivability yeah but he really lack of other things, especially in boss content Add to that the fact that he doesn’t have a real HP support to assist him (Even if Lynx can boost HP and provide HoT and more taunt) and need to monopolize at least 2-3 support for him just to be behind all recent characters in terms of damages, plus he seems to be really dependent of his LC even if the Rappa’s event LC can be a good F2P option For me for now even if I love the kit it’s a skip, wait and see
I absolutely love him. I love his design, gameplay and characters (at least from what i see in his animation attitude) However i really REALLY hope they will remove the auto-play or at least make it optional (yk like u can turn on and off ultimate cast during auto-play). After all i am pulling the characters to play with them ,yk hoyo? 😭 It will be so lame just to stay there and look how my luocha's field heals him the whole battle, If they totally force the auto play i will just add aglea (if i get her) to do something while he attacks on his own
i think im gonna save the guarantee (i lost The Herta 😭) and get Mydei and Castorice I might get The Herta when she reruns, but after getting Mydei and Castorice, im mainly aiming for Phainon and Elysia expy 😋
The painfull farming time will begin again. When I need hp as main stat, the game will give me crit and atk stats, and then break for the substat. Yeah, I am ready. At least we get that new modeling resin. Whatever his kits, I am gonna pull him. And My Luocha (the walking hospital) is ready too, I just need to pull his LC and Eidolons to give him more utility. I hope his rerun come soon.
Blade Pro Max looks super edgy and cool but not for me. I do hope we get a cool Imaginary unit in 3.x that I can use because I don'tthink E0S0 DHIL can cut it, idk

Hes cool but idk how to feel about his forced auto. Flavor-wise its a 10/10 design, but I think this might turn off people lets see how the changes in V3 look. I get it why he is designed this way, but personally I am not a fan of that auto curio in DU as well, but lets see it seems to be a part of his kit so I doubt its changing
I am so busted until I get lucky and win the 50/50 at least 3 from 4 times. First I pull therta and tribie, then Mydei and in the end Castorice. And who knows what comes after that😅
Honestly I was disappointed by his animations. It's nothing special. Reminds me a lot about Arlechinno(srry idk how her name is in English) from genshin. His splash art is really cool, I like it a lot, and the model looks just like the splash art (which is good). I saw leaks of his LC and honestly I didn't like how it looked too. Such a disappointment. I don't even know if I'll pull him or not, because I don't really need a sixth DPS and I just wanted to pull for him because he looked cool in the trailer and his story promises he'll be an interesting character. So yeah, I don't like the leaks at all. :(

I heard Castorice will make him a sub DPS. The current numbers don’t look good so I’m going to keep my mind open.
Not gonna lie, I find him a bit underwhelming and I hope he will be buffed, he have the survivability yeah but he really lack of other things, especially in boss content
Add to that the fact that he doesn’t have a real HP support to assist him (Even if Lynx can boost HP and provide HoT and more taunt) and need to monopolize at least 2-3 support for him just to be behind all recent characters in terms of damages, plus he seems to be really dependent of his LC even if the Rappa’s event LC can be a good F2P option
For me for now even if I love the kit it’s a skip, wait and see

I absolutely love him. I love his design, gameplay and characters (at least from what i see in his animation attitude)
However i really REALLY hope they will remove the auto-play or at least make it optional (yk like u can turn on and off ultimate cast during auto-play). After all i am pulling the characters to play with them ,yk hoyo? 😭 It will be so lame just to stay there and look how my luocha's field heals him the whole battle, If they totally force the auto play i will just add aglea (if i get her) to do something while he attacks on his own
i think im gonna save the guarantee (i lost The Herta 😭) and get Mydei and Castorice

The painfull farming time will begin again. When I need hp as main stat, the game will give me crit and atk stats, and then break for the substat. Yeah, I am ready. At least we get that new modeling resin. Whatever his kits, I am gonna pull him.
And My Luocha (the walking hospital) is ready too, I just need to pull his LC and Eidolons to give him more utility. I hope his rerun come soon.

seems cool but I wanted a character to autoplay I would just turn on autoplay so that kills all my desire for mydei, luckily I want tribbie more anyway so it's not that bad

Hes cool but idk how to feel about his forced auto. Flavor-wise its a 10/10 design, but I think this might turn off people lets see how the changes in V3 look. I get it why he is designed this way, but personally I am not a fan of that auto curio in DU as well, but lets see it seems to be a part of his kit so I doubt its changing

Honestly I was disappointed by his animations. It's nothing special. Reminds me a lot about Arlechinno(srry idk how her name is in English) from genshin. His splash art is really cool, I like it a lot, and the model looks just like the splash art (which is good). I saw leaks of his LC and honestly I didn't like how it looked too. Such a disappointment. I don't even know if I'll pull him or not, because I don't really need a sixth DPS and I just wanted to pull for him because he looked cool in the trailer and his story promises he'll be an interesting character. So yeah, I don't like the leaks at all. :(
