I think the main reason to pull for The Herta is the fact she's very f2p friendly, as mentioned in this video both Little Herta and Serval support The Herta really well and so does RMC who benefits from The Herta's crit damage since Mem (RMC's summon) has a talent that gives your team crit damage based on her own CD and with The Herta giving you 80% CD that's pretty big. Another thing to note is that Bronya is exceptional with The Herta since Bronya's ult scales with CD and because of her A2 her auto attacks always vrit meaning that she can deal a nice chunk of damage with her auto attacks.

I am an OG Herta gamer, I fell in love with her design in v1.0 and pulled Jing Yuan's LC literally just for her to use and then spent like 2 months of trailblaze power farming relics trying to build the strongest Herta I could--and this was all before Pure Fiction when _any_ of this started making even a little bit of sense--so I'm super excited for The Herta's release so I can go all in on my investment for her, too.
Aglaea for me because I have Sunday and my main team is a Feixiao follow up team :) After that I'm needing a 4th character for the Aglaea team and Topaz for my follow up team.
Personally in my opinion considering Aglae will be the first remembrance dps we get (which are focused around summons) I feel like she might get powercrept quite easily, for ex from castorice and perhaps upcoming characters. As a Sunday haver but f2p I think the better option would be the herta!!!
Agree. She will be for sure powercrept and her element alignment is unfortunate as well (JingYuan and Acheron are also lightening and while they might get weaker, they are still strong enough to use). And obviously they will not throw at us the best DPS with the new mechanic right away. Best business choice is to hype up the new mechanic, then release the weakest one, because the FOMO people will jump on it, then bring out the real guns so they will be forced to wish again.
Exactly, and considering (I heard) The herta is the erudition emanator I feel she would be quite future proof or at least last quite awhile in the meta (Like acheron)
@@purinchochu Even if she wouldn't be an erudition emanator, her kit at least reads really solid on Paper and her team comps are quite flexible and F2P friendly.
I mean, I feel as an emanator she could get powercrept just not as easily as Aglea will again considering the leaks we got of Castorices kit which includes her dragon summon if I'm not mistaken but of course there's still no guarantee she will be stronger than Aglea. For a f2p I feel it would be more efficient to go for The Herta rather than Aglea because of her f2p friendly options and because even if she does get powercrept she would still be very beneficial for pf and since Aglea will be the first remembrance its likely we find better rememberance characters soon after or if she ends up being very op we could always wait for her rerun which will come faster if the triple rerun each patch stays consistent! (If it doesn't I feel we would still get her rerun around 3.x if she stays a very hyped character)

Locked in for Aglaea because her kit just sounds way more unique(a lot of turns, a lot of attacks like FuA, SP positive, very first SPD focused DPS), as long as Hoyo does forget about her I can see her reaching bonker levels of damage
I would really like to have The Herta because I want a better Erudition team, but I already invested in E1 Sunday so I feel like I should pull for Aglaea. I’m really looking forward to seeing more about her, but your advice to wait until we get closer to 3.1 to pull is sound.
If we think about how Acheron and Herta work this will mostly be how emanator will work by being best set with others of there respective path. It makes me really wonder about how other emanator's will be.
Im looking forward to the herta. Her team for me would be the herta, fu xuan, rmc, and e1s1 jade but there's a chance that tribbie might fit well into the team and replace rmc. Which would be the herta and 3 quantum characters on the team. Fu xuan would be nice here since I don't use her anywhere else and she gives crit rate and does damage with her ult which would build stacks for the herta. Im trying to avoid using huohuo, robin, aventurine, and lingsha since I use them on a few different teams already

@@iiKhaled0That’s a fair point and probably good advice, but I wasn’t recommending anything or making a comparative analysis based on long-term future meta viability. I just said that if faced with the same choice I’d also pull Feixiao and Robin, for a variety of reasons that aren’t only about future meta. It’s besides the point from my standpoint, but Feixiao is still a strong DPS, and this is not the Jingliu situation where she had been severely hampered by changes in enemy design before her first rerun even happened.
I would definitely pull for The Herta! I have Jade, Lingsha, and Feixio already. I also like her kit and can see her working well with little herta and Jade especially! I may think more about Aglaea before I decide if to pull or not. Now rerun wise…..BootHill must come home plzz😭😭 I can’t believe I have another chance at getting him. I may also think about getting Feixio light cone too.
i love your budget suggestions for the Herta team. Remembrance Tb and the passkey Herta is hella clever and makes me believe that maybe i don't need huohuo or tingyun (they are already being used by my Yunli)
Tbh, I'm more interested in the reruns because the rerun characters may not have a rerun for quite a long time later on throughout the 3.x patch. I'm a huge Super Break fan and I'm lacking DPS units, so I may wanna pull for Lingsha and Boothill. Feixiao is also a good option, but my Dr. Ratio team functions just fine. As for the units I already have (Jade and Robin), I'm not sure if I can even guarantee to pull for their E1S1s.
You also gotta consider that 3.0 will shift the meta to another playstyle. Superbreak maybe not be as strong as it is in 2.x, of course play with the characters and play style you want but seeing that you have Jade and Robin - maybe you should consider the herta since you have the characters to create a good team for her
I want to get Lingsha as i need more supports, but after the god awful Acheron banner cycle (250 total tickets when going for her and Aventurine and their LC and only ending up with Acheron after 156 tickets) i'll only have enough tickets for 90 pulls, so saving them all for Aglaea!
As a F2P who pulled for Sunday, I will definitely pull for Aglaea because Sunday can bring the GM up as well Aglaea + GM = More damage than Aglaea alone so yeah
As someone who just started has literally nothing except Firefly for premium characters, I'm gonna be going for Lingsha and Robin, as well as probably Tribbie in 3.1, so as to load up on top tier supports. As much as I want Feixiao and Aglaea I think with such a barebones account it's far more worth it to get versatile supports in anticipation for synergistic DPS as opposed to the other way around. The new player problem, F2P or not, is that you just don't have access to the pieces needed to put together a lot of archetypes, even if you have a primary DPS option like Feixiao or Boothill (or Firefly in my case), and having these versatile supports I think is going to do a lot more for me than a top DPS would.
help i just came back from the game ToT. I'm overwhelmed by the options, does anyone know if I'm gonna be able to get enough stellar jades for both Ling Sha and Aglaea from all the penacony quests and old events? (for context, I stopped playing after Jingliu's first rerun) Badly need a premium sustain and a new DPS. I'm considering purchasing the "welkin" thing
I’ve got Sunday, Robin, & HuoHuo plus Aglaea’s design being my favorite in the game, Topaz being my second fav. So it’s basically a given that I’ll pull for Aglaea!

Maybe for The Herta? HuoHuo’s the healer I would’ve picked. Idk what healers you have atm, but if you can wait & you want Aglaea, I’d recommend waiting for HuoHuo rerun
Def getting Herta but.. I just took a look at the 3.0 end game modes and a good Lightening character is practically required and my E1S0 Acheron has a measly S1 Choreo LC. Do I get Aglaea too? hmm...
If you invest into Aglaea well, make her very fast, & you have her best team (Sunday/Robin/HuoHuo), I’d argue she worth the pickup. Even if Aglaea ends up being a powercrept version Jingliu of 3.0, she’ll still be my favorite unit in the game. Especially if there is still lightning weak content in the game, which there will.
I'd wait to see how the meta will shape up. Another thing to note is that I'm sure they'll have her rerun very quick depending on the upcoming characters. Look at Feixiao as a prime example, she came in 2.5 and three patches later she got her rerun, so I wouldn't really worry about it.
It actually depends more on what Mihoyo wants. For example, if in 3.x the 3 endgame modes have specific buffs for summons then she will be extremely relevant throughout all the 3.x period... just like what happened with the superbreak in version 2.x But if the summons are abandoned like what happened with the DoT then she is screwed
If Aglaea is viable long term, she will have a rerun fast. If she is meh, unless you like her design a lot, it is wiser to wait for the next summoner. It is bad business to release the strong DPS first when you can sell the weak design on hype alone... Big Herta on the other hand - while hyped to high heaven as well - has huge team flexibility and is a strong DPS with a rare element. She is also the 5 star version of the most lore-centred character. And an emenator which should make her exceptionally good in her own lane (based on the one we have already, they build emenators to last). So, if you are just short on main DPSs, I would get BigHerta. But of course, if your little heart's desire is to get the blonde beauty, go for it! Then, even if she is powercrept, you"lol be happy with her. I mean, she won't s*ck big time, just... Might struggle with the hardest stuff a little.
I actually might pull for The Herta because I really don't have much Ice units on my team and she looks like she'll be perfect for that roll, and also, I really like Her EN voice😊
Honestly as much as I am completely in love with THerta & Aglaea's designs... as a low spender, I'm going for Lingsha rerun only and no one else lol. Need to perfect my break team. Although herta and aglaea will definitely be powerful dpses, IMO it's not worth it to pull them (for meta, I mean --ofc if you like the characters it's always worth it) for someone like me who already has Acheron & FF and can clear both sides of MOC. HSR stands for Honkai support rail, if you have meta supports you can make any DPS work in endgame.
Old 5 stars like Clara and Yanqing need crazy good gear even with someone like Robin. Won't feel good otherwise. Where as with Agalea you just need okay gear. There's definitely a big difference.
@@Mystra Fair enough, though imo Clara improves a lot with E1, there's no saving our poor boy Yanqing lol. What I meant was more that if you've already pulled dpses from the recent break or hypercarry meta (FF, BH, acheron etc) and have been doing fine in moc so far, you'll prolly continue to be fine without going for the shiny new dpses, and that supports in general have more value than dps in this game.
Everyone seems so good. I got Sunday for Aglaea then I got lucky and pulled Firefly & Fugue in under 90 tickets. Now I want E1 Firefly, Lingsha, Feixaio & Aglaea. Not enough tickets, too much temptation.
Someone pls recommend, my main teams are usually Acheron pela bailu sparkle Jingliu bronya fuxuan (any char i want) For THE Herta which I really want bcz of her animations, I only have a built up Himeko as erudition only. Can i still pull for her? Plsss advise I have 150 pulls stored which I was saving for Fate Collab ! Considering patches 3.0 to 3.7 (if fate is after, i will have 70-80 free pulls even if i dont have time to play)

There is no news about new sustain yet. 3.2 will feature another set of dps. No news in 3.3 paths but are you willing to play no team 2 sustain for 4 patches? Better get lingsha. She works in and out of break teams. She's good in pf bcs there's always fire weakness and she's aoe
Lingsha is pretty futureproof though: 1.) Her Bunny is a summon, so any summon shenanigans, either in character buffs, MOC-effects, ... will also affect her and her summon, which most likely will be the main meta for the upcoming patches. 2.) Her Bunny counts as Follow-Up-Attack, so she is not only good for break teams, but also for follow up. 3.) She has an AoE cleanse, which is always good against crowd control/charms 4.) She works very well with Himeko in Fire-Weak PF and similiar battles.

Me personally, I don’t see value in The Herta considering I already have 4 star Herta, Himeko, Jade, etc. Plus, it seems like a lot of folks are dead set on skipping Aglaea for Castorice, so us Aglaea fans are few & far between haha😅
Man I wish the 4star characters and LCs were switched between banners. I'm pulling for Herta but want Tingyun, Shushang and DDD. Should I force Aglea LC banner just for the chance of getting DDD? Probably not right?
No don't do that, the DDD will drop sooner or later even on standard Banners. they did it on purpose. by bricking The Herta Lightcon with 140 energy (or else that Lightcon was a must pull for all Erudition Characters) , they trying to sucker people into pulling Algaea Lightcon with DDD, and Ruan Mei 4star lightcone (we don't know what it does). Do not give in to those kind of practises, even Algaea you rather pull E1 then S1 (cause it changes the way Energy refund works and needed for her character without sunday or hou hou) . you give in next time they are going to sell more rubbishe Lightcon and stick DDD ontop again.
I am going for the Herta i am on the fence for jade though since they may release a new erudition that goes well with herta later on that and i already have e6 herta, e6 serval and e0s1 himeko should i go for jade or just wait for a new erudition while using what i got.
My plan is to get Jade since I had to skip her last time and promised next time she reran I'd get her. Then, if I get lucky enough, going for The Herta too. Then saving for the upcoming deluge of men because I have every man and I need to maintain that.

Herta works off of other Erudition characters, and with Sunday advancing both Jing Yuan AND Lightning Lord i think you'd be looking at a solid team. They are, however, SP hungry, so your sustain should be SP positive, like gallagher, houhou E1, FX,.. Even better if you have Sundays LC or at least the Bronya LC

I’m awful at team building -.- I have Sunday’s LC cuz it seemed too good to skip haha plus I love jing yuan so I was excited he had an amazing support but I feel like the general is still more sub dps than main so I’m excited for herta to take the lead :) I have huohuo e1 so that will be my sustain. Extra energy for my ultimates is always a bonus too haha
Difficult Fugue is really important a must pull for Superbreak Teams even with firefly, Lingsha is the Sustain, if you don't have Fugue pull her for Firefly. we don't know when Fugue will rerun. while Lingsha reruns next patch so you might get both. Depending on your 50/50 or Garantee. if you have Garantee it is a more difficult choice, cause then you have to gamble for the next character. if you don't have Garantee then go for it and if you fail to get Fugue, then you have garantee for whoever you want the next patch. cause you build up Pitty for the next character.
Sunday into Fugue into the 8 banner 3.0 is rough. I have Aglaea's premium team so I'll be gunning for her, but having to skip Big Herta hurts for sure. That being said everyone make sure to pick up Lingsha and her bunny she's the best character in the game (no bias).
I'd still pick Big Herta and pick the next summon DPS instead (unless you like Aglaea). She will be for sure power crept to high heavens (hence they come up with her first, so they can sell you the next ones, too)

I'll be pulling for Big Herta because I severely lack ice characters, I might pick up Jade after just so I have a decent pairing with her. As much as I would like Robin, I'm F2P so i don't think I'll be able to get her as well as the other two.
Im still lacking an Ice dmg character so The Herta will going to be my focus. I'm torn on the reruns, but depending on my rolls, hopefully I can toss a few at Lingsha.
Yea no like lowk I am hoping for literally 2 reruns in 3.X. I need Sunday(Lost 50/50-- guarantee for Aglaea) and Huohuo(Totally don't have every other healer in the game), and then I need luck on my Mydei/Castorice pulls cause I heard they synergize well :).
Depend on the rest of your team, if you have the 2 meta DPS.. 2 sustain with cleanse, then support is more important, if you love Fugue then pulling Lingsha is recommended, they are a TEAM consisting of 2 people the rest you can toss in whatever you want. Fugue and Lingsha (who counts for 2 people cause of her bunny) are sure combo. for any team. They provide everything Damage/Sustain/Element ignore/Defense Shred/Cleanse/Super Break 2x bonus damage. but always remember if you love somebody more. no matter how not meta or the character isn't good, you will grind and make it work. if you hate Lingsha then do not pull for her. it only makes you look at all the flaws (not that Lingsha has any flaw she works best with random mix relics pieces) Robin is also a must pull cause she works in any team. by giving them a Full EXTRA Turn. so hard decision to make, pull the character you love the most.
With the leaks of Tribbie, Feixaio sounds OP lol. But also, I guess The Herta will be strong with Tribbie? That might be the reason I go with THerta. I do lack a strong DPS Ice character.
the only two 5 stars i absolutely wanted no matter what are The Herta and Silver Wolf, but due to the rerun placement I have to skip The Herta and wait for her rerun
this is lowkey gonna be the easiest banner for me, herta's neat and all but i don't know if i'd end up using her much i already have feixiao, robin and boothill, def won't get silver wolf or jade, lingsha is tempting but i'm good on sustains for now i believe so it's all in for aglaea, after her my sights are set on castorice 😎
My sights are also on Castorice. But I am a kinda new player, so I have Acheron (without JQ) and Rappa (without RM and Lingsha). So, for me and totally new players, BigHerta is ideal. She can be the second team with whoever left (many f2p characters work well) until we can get the badass DPSs of this version. For second sustain, I hope they will rerun HuoHuo at some point and just survive with whatever I have now. But for those with 2 good teams, I think, waiting for Castorice (or maybe Mydei, Phai-...Kevin expy) is wise. These 6 reruns in one version thing is a bait for sure. Okay, Jade is good with BigHerta and Robin is best support unit. But Lingsha is worse choice than HuoHuo (so far), Feixiao and Boothill will likely be less potent with the endgame modes, so getting them now is dumb, SilverWolf is redundant... Even as a new player, TheHerta and Robin worth it and that's it. Jade is a luxury pull already.
@ashy969 tbh i'd think they'll rerun huohuo soon, tho with how they usually rerun characters synergistic with new units (like rm rerunning with firefly for example) i'm surprised huohuo isn't rerunning with aglaea since she gives energy buffs but maybe she'll follow suit soon your game plan def sounds solid tho, like yeah you should pull folks you like but also focus on units you'd actually use/need, in your case if you don't see yourself needing or using boothill or feixiao then don't get em i ALMOST wanna get big herta because she may end up coming in clutch but i think i'm fine for now lol
The Herta is very F2P friendly but Aglaea is not she kinda need her premium comp to deal a lot DMG without Premium comp I can see the big different. I'll pull for Aglaea anyway, already got her premium comp ang I want to play a new path
Is getting Da Herta's LC necessary? I'm planning to roll for her but also Robin since i don't have her yet. I'm gonna skip Aglaea and wait for other Remembrance DPS. My biggest concern is that If I pull for Da Herta's LC I won't have enough for Robin.
Necessary NO, is it one of the better lightcons yes. cause of skill point refund. the Herta is fine at E0S0 is probaly the Firefly of 3.X for F2P. she will get a rerun sooner or later. cause she is like Acheron and Firefly one of those Hoyo Emanators. save up for Robin even if I am going to pull the Herta Lightcon a Robin is worth more for the Herta then her Lightcon, cause Robin gives The Herta Attack buffs aside from the whole party a extra turn.
i want to pull for herta but being f2p iv saved about 50k jades so with the tickets we get and the jades we get till 3.2 i can get maydei and castorice even if i lose both 50/50s but thats not including their lcs
Personally, i think i have to go for The Herta. I have so many supports but not enough dps. Specifically aoe dps for PF. Also might try for Lingsha if i can.
I need everyone’s opinion. I’m f2p guaranteed for therta. I want jade cause I genuinely love her aesthetic, she can be with herta, and I struggle with PF. I want lingsha cause I play FF break team and I only have one other built sustain (Huohuo). I want Robin cause therta can use her, my only built harmony supports are ruan mei and bronya, and I can’t use RMC as support for therta since my firefly uses HMC. Im f2p tho and it’s highly unlikely I’ll get 4 characters in one patch. Someone help me decide 😢
Based off what you said, I would go Herta first. Then, if you really love jade that much, sure go for it. Optimally Robin would be stronger for your account. However we are also getting another harmony character down the road and is rumored to be strong with herta anyways. So you could go that route if you want As for lingsha, if you can pick up even 1 copy of Gallagher that is already good enough for break teams. I'm also f2p and my galli is just fine. Finally, if you are struggling for a support for herta since hmc is busy with break, you could keep a look out for tingyun. She should be fine with herta until you can get an upgrade. That is just my perspective. Do what you like of course.
Go for JADE if you love her the most, isn't the most smart thing to do, but she is quite fine character .. you need to twink some stuff to make her fit. if you love her so much then go for it. I loved FF and I whaled on her, and she didn't dissapoint. I followed meta advice for Acheron she SUX monkey balls even after 1 week of grinding. soon she will be phased out of my teams. remember always pull characters you LOVE unless you lack sustain cause you are teams are dying. in that case pulling Lingsha doesn't hurt your team to farm more jade for the future. but my recommendation is Lingsha since you only have Houhou, that gallagher what people are screaming about doesn't solve Cleanse Issue .. have tested it troughly Gallagher is great if your Damage is High, gallgaher sux monkey balls if your team damage is low. while Lingsha can do everything.
Its Robin. If you dont have Robin, roll for Robin. From there, its whatever you want: Feixiao is great, Aglaea if you also have Sunday, Herta because good, etc

I really did want to Pull for the Herta, but I think Lingsha and Robin are too good to pass up. Being some of the best in the game at what they are doing, they are much better for the future of my account then The Herta, or even Feixiao who i also really want. Lingsha being my priority, as I just managed to get FF and Fugue.
It’s actually over for me… I want the herta, feixiaos lc, robins e1, and lingsha.. I could just get big herta and then robin e1 but then what.. SOMEONE HELP
Get Lingsha if you lack a limited 5* sustain. We know 3.1 doesn't have a new limited 5* sustain, and Lingsha fits a lot of roles surprisingly well. I recommend The Herta, if you have Jade already. She has value with other Erudition units, but Jade is the big bread winner since it's what Jade players have been waiting for in a lot of ways. I recommend Robin next, as the more general recommend. Even without her E1, she's just impressively strong with any number of teams, including The Herta and summon teams, and the FUA reliable. I doubt sincerely whatever Tribbie can do will power creep her. But since she's 2nd banner you can also wait to find out just how strong Tribbie will be. Finally, what I'm personally after: Aglaea and her Light Cone. Simply put, The Herta is a major character, but I'm worried there will be a lack of other Erudition characters for awhile, with the focus being on Remembrance and other ideas. Reminds me a bit of Black Swan in that regard. And there may be other pulls with future Remembrance characters. With the big strength to Aglaea being that some Remembrance character will help a lot as endgame buffs will probably be oriented toward them. As with my Robin recommendation, I'll actually be waiting a long while till I can get a peak at 3.2. That will also determine if I even need another DPS right away, and help think about characters in 3.1/3.2 more clearly.
Had pretty much the same reasoning for Lingsha, she is break, summon, follow-up, buff, debuff, heal, .... Same for Robin in the prospect of Tribbie. But how do you see The Herta substantially better than base Herta or Himeko with Jade? I prefer Jade with base Herta a lot, because her skill can hit 5 and not just 3 enemies, and at best, her follow up will hit 5 enemies again. But maybe I've misread or skipped something The Herta does. I'm actually going to skip Aglaea, because she is the first 5* Remembrance character and will probably get powercrept pretty soon with more and more remembrance characters coming in 3.X and strong lightning alternatives existing in Kafka, Acheron or Jingyuan.
@@MrFox-xr9cc While I stand behind my recommendation, I misunderstood The Herta's skill - unfortunately it will only ever generate a max of 5 for Jade, even when The Herta's skill is enhanced by her Ultimate, and The Herta lacks a FUA to generate more stacks for Jade. That said, it's less about what The Herta does for Jade and more what Jade does for The Herta: The Herta wants a skill-point positive, crit-based DPS Erudition character, and one that hits lots of enemies with all of their attacks, preferably with follow-ups or fast ultimates. Which is Jade, exclusively. Base Herta, Serval, Argenti, Jing Yuan, and Himeko all fit some of those criteria, but not all. And some will, sometimes, do it better than Jade will in a a more general sense, such as Himeko or base Herta follow-ups. But Serval for example tries to pull off shenanigans with Passkey to help The Herta, and still has to basic attack a lot of turns and run survival stats so her ultimate and bounce attacks batteries The Herta. Jade just doesn't have those issues. So if you have a Jade ready to go, you're set up to have a fantastic The Herta already, and in most scenarios a better one than the other Erudition units will pull off.
I want both aglaea and Herta, maybe Robin too, but as a F2P who is interested more in mydei and the Fate collab i maybe skip this patch... I dont really know for now to be honest...

I think the main reason to pull for The Herta is the fact she's very f2p friendly, as mentioned in this video both Little Herta and Serval support The Herta really well and so does RMC who benefits from The Herta's crit damage since Mem (RMC's summon) has a talent that gives your team crit damage based on her own CD and with The Herta giving you 80% CD that's pretty big. Another thing to note is that Bronya is exceptional with The Herta since Bronya's ult scales with CD and because of her A2 her auto attacks always vrit meaning that she can deal a nice chunk of damage with her auto attacks.
Sparkle is the best fit since The Herta needs that skill point generation on top of the massive cd she gives.

I am an OG Herta gamer, I fell in love with her design in v1.0 and pulled Jing Yuan's LC literally just for her to use and then spent like 2 months of trailblaze power farming relics trying to build the strongest Herta I could--and this was all before Pure Fiction when _any_ of this started making even a little bit of sense--so I'm super excited for The Herta's release so I can go all in on my investment for her, too.

Personally in my opinion considering Aglae will be the first remembrance dps we get (which are focused around summons) I feel like she might get powercrept quite easily, for ex from castorice and perhaps upcoming characters. As a Sunday haver but f2p I think the better option would be the herta!!!
Agree. She will be for sure powercrept and her element alignment is unfortunate as well (JingYuan and Acheron are also lightening and while they might get weaker, they are still strong enough to use).
And obviously they will not throw at us the best DPS with the new mechanic right away. Best business choice is to hype up the new mechanic, then release the weakest one, because the FOMO people will jump on it, then bring out the real guns so they will be forced to wish again.

Even if she wouldn't be an erudition emanator, her kit at least reads really solid on Paper and her team comps are quite flexible and F2P friendly.
I mean, I feel as an emanator she could get powercrept just not as easily as Aglea will again considering the leaks we got of Castorices kit which includes her dragon summon if I'm not mistaken but of course there's still no guarantee she will be stronger than Aglea. For a f2p I feel it would be more efficient to go for The Herta rather than Aglea because of her f2p friendly options and because even if she does get powercrept she would still be very beneficial for pf and since Aglea will be the first remembrance its likely we find better rememberance characters soon after or if she ends up being very op we could always wait for her rerun which will come faster if the triple rerun each patch stays consistent! (If it doesn't I feel we would still get her rerun around 3.x if she stays a very hyped character)

Locked in for Aglaea because her kit just sounds way more unique(a lot of turns, a lot of attacks like FuA, SP positive, very first SPD focused DPS), as long as Hoyo does forget about her I can see her reaching bonker levels of damage
I would really like to have The Herta because I want a better Erudition team, but I already invested in E1 Sunday so I feel like I should pull for Aglaea. I’m really looking forward to seeing more about her, but your advice to wait until we get closer to 3.1 to pull is sound.

If we think about how Acheron and Herta work this will mostly be how emanator will work by being best set with others of there respective path. It makes me really wonder about how other emanator's will be.

Her team for me would be the herta, fu xuan, rmc, and e1s1 jade but there's a chance that tribbie might fit well into the team and replace rmc. Which would be the herta and 3 quantum characters on the team.
Fu xuan would be nice here since I don't use her anywhere else and she gives crit rate and does damage with her ult which would build stacks for the herta.

I just said that if faced with the same choice I’d also pull Feixiao and Robin, for a variety of reasons that aren’t only about future meta.
It’s besides the point from my standpoint, but Feixiao is still a strong DPS, and this is not the Jingliu situation where she had been severely hampered by changes in enemy design before her first rerun even happened.
For 3.X, I'm prioritising getting as many chrysos heirs as I can so I'll be going for Aglaea. I even pulled Sunday for her.

Tbh, I'm more interested in the reruns because the rerun characters may not have a rerun for quite a long time later on throughout the 3.x patch. I'm a huge Super Break fan and I'm lacking DPS units, so I may wanna pull for Lingsha and Boothill. Feixiao is also a good option, but my Dr. Ratio team functions just fine. As for the units I already have (Jade and Robin), I'm not sure if I can even guarantee to pull for their E1S1s.
You also gotta consider that 3.0 will shift the meta to another playstyle. Superbreak maybe not be as strong as it is in 2.x, of course play with the characters and play style you want but seeing that you have Jade and Robin - maybe you should consider the herta since you have the characters to create a good team for her

I want to get Lingsha as i need more supports, but after the god awful Acheron banner cycle (250 total tickets when going for her and Aventurine and their LC and only ending up with Acheron after 156 tickets) i'll only have enough tickets for 90 pulls, so saving them all for Aglaea!

As someone who just started has literally nothing except Firefly for premium characters, I'm gonna be going for Lingsha and Robin, as well as probably Tribbie in 3.1, so as to load up on top tier supports. As much as I want Feixiao and Aglaea I think with such a barebones account it's far more worth it to get versatile supports in anticipation for synergistic DPS as opposed to the other way around. The new player problem, F2P or not, is that you just don't have access to the pieces needed to put together a lot of archetypes, even if you have a primary DPS option like Feixiao or Boothill (or Firefly in my case), and having these versatile supports I think is going to do a lot more for me than a top DPS would.

Maybe for The Herta? HuoHuo’s the healer I would’ve picked. Idk what healers you have atm, but if you can wait & you want Aglaea, I’d recommend waiting for HuoHuo rerun

If you invest into Aglaea well, make her very fast, & you have her best team (Sunday/Robin/HuoHuo), I’d argue she worth the pickup. Even if Aglaea ends up being a powercrept version Jingliu of 3.0, she’ll still be my favorite unit in the game. Especially if there is still lightning weak content in the game, which there will.

I'd wait to see how the meta will shape up. Another thing to note is that I'm sure they'll have her rerun very quick depending on the upcoming characters. Look at Feixiao as a prime example, she came in 2.5 and three patches later she got her rerun, so I wouldn't really worry about it.
It actually depends more on what Mihoyo wants. For example, if in 3.x the 3 endgame modes have specific buffs for summons then she will be extremely relevant throughout all the 3.x period... just like what happened with the superbreak in version 2.x
But if the summons are abandoned like what happened with the DoT then she is screwed
If Aglaea is viable long term, she will have a rerun fast. If she is meh, unless you like her design a lot, it is wiser to wait for the next summoner. It is bad business to release the strong DPS first when you can sell the weak design on hype alone...
Big Herta on the other hand - while hyped to high heaven as well - has huge team flexibility and is a strong DPS with a rare element. She is also the 5 star version of the most lore-centred character. And an emenator which should make her exceptionally good in her own lane (based on the one we have already, they build emenators to last).
So, if you are just short on main DPSs, I would get BigHerta.
But of course, if your little heart's desire is to get the blonde beauty, go for it! Then, even if she is powercrept, you"lol be happy with her. I mean, she won't s*ck big time, just... Might struggle with the hardest stuff a little.
I actually might pull for The Herta because I really don't have much Ice units on my team and she looks like she'll be perfect for that roll, and also, I really like Her EN voice😊
Honestly as much as I am completely in love with THerta & Aglaea's designs... as a low spender, I'm going for Lingsha rerun only and no one else lol. Need to perfect my break team. Although herta and aglaea will definitely be powerful dpses, IMO it's not worth it to pull them (for meta, I mean --ofc if you like the characters it's always worth it) for someone like me who already has Acheron & FF and can clear both sides of MOC. HSR stands for Honkai support rail, if you have meta supports you can make any DPS work in endgame.
Old 5 stars like Clara and Yanqing need crazy good gear even with someone like Robin. Won't feel good otherwise. Where as with Agalea you just need okay gear. There's definitely a big difference.

What I meant was more that if you've already pulled dpses from the recent break or hypercarry meta (FF, BH, acheron etc) and have been doing fine in moc so far, you'll prolly continue to be fine without going for the shiny new dpses, and that supports in general have more value than dps in this game.

There is no news about new sustain yet. 3.2 will feature another set of dps. No news in 3.3 paths but are you willing to play no team 2 sustain for 4 patches? Better get lingsha. She works in and out of break teams. She's good in pf bcs there's always fire weakness and she's aoe
Lingsha is pretty futureproof though:
1.) Her Bunny is a summon, so any summon shenanigans, either in character buffs, MOC-effects, ... will also affect her and her summon, which most likely will be the main meta for the upcoming patches.
2.) Her Bunny counts as Follow-Up-Attack, so she is not only good for break teams, but also for follow up.
3.) She has an AoE cleanse, which is always good against crowd control/charms
4.) She works very well with Himeko in Fire-Weak PF and similiar battles.

No don't do that, the DDD will drop sooner or later even on standard Banners. they did it on purpose. by bricking The Herta Lightcon with 140 energy (or else that Lightcon was a must pull for all Erudition Characters) , they trying to sucker people into pulling Algaea Lightcon with DDD, and Ruan Mei 4star lightcone (we don't know what it does).
Do not give in to those kind of practises, even Algaea you rather pull E1 then S1 (cause it changes the way Energy refund works and needed for her character without sunday or hou hou) . you give in next time they are going to sell more rubbishe Lightcon and stick DDD ontop again.

My plan is to get Jade since I had to skip her last time and promised next time she reran I'd get her. Then, if I get lucky enough, going for The Herta too. Then saving for the upcoming deluge of men because I have every man and I need to maintain that.

Herta works off of other Erudition characters, and with Sunday advancing both Jing Yuan AND Lightning Lord i think you'd be looking at a solid team.
They are, however, SP hungry, so your sustain should be SP positive, like gallagher, houhou E1, FX,..
Even better if you have Sundays LC or at least the Bronya LC

I’m awful at team building -.- I have Sunday’s LC cuz it seemed too good to skip haha plus I love jing yuan so I was excited he had an amazing support but I feel like the general is still more sub dps than main so I’m excited for herta to take the lead :) I have huohuo e1 so that will be my sustain. Extra energy for my ultimates is always a bonus too haha

Difficult Fugue is really important a must pull for Superbreak Teams even with firefly, Lingsha is the Sustain, if you don't have Fugue pull her for Firefly. we don't know when Fugue will rerun. while Lingsha reruns next patch so you might get both.
Depending on your 50/50 or Garantee. if you have Garantee it is a more difficult choice, cause then you have to gamble for the next character. if you don't have Garantee then go for it and if you fail to get Fugue, then you have garantee for whoever you want the next patch. cause you build up Pitty for the next character.

Sunday into Fugue into the 8 banner 3.0 is rough. I have Aglaea's premium team so I'll be gunning for her, but having to skip Big Herta hurts for sure.
That being said everyone make sure to pick up Lingsha and her bunny she's the best character in the game (no bias).
I'd still pick Big Herta and pick the next summon DPS instead (unless you like Aglaea). She will be for sure power crept to high heavens (hence they come up with her first, so they can sell you the next ones, too)

Yea no like lowk I am hoping for literally 2 reruns in 3.X. I need Sunday(Lost 50/50-- guarantee for Aglaea) and Huohuo(Totally don't have every other healer in the game), and then I need luck on my Mydei/Castorice pulls cause I heard they synergize well :).
Tmw I don't know if I want Lingsha because Fugue is my new fave or Fei or Robin or Big Herta. So many options for someone with a small collection lol.
Depend on the rest of your team, if you have the 2 meta DPS.. 2 sustain with cleanse, then support is more important, if you love Fugue then pulling Lingsha is recommended, they are a TEAM consisting of 2 people the rest you can toss in whatever you want. Fugue and Lingsha (who counts for 2 people cause of her bunny) are sure combo. for any team.
They provide everything Damage/Sustain/Element ignore/Defense Shred/Cleanse/Super Break 2x bonus damage. but always remember if you love somebody more. no matter how not meta or the character isn't good, you will grind and make it work. if you hate Lingsha then do not pull for her. it only makes you look at all the flaws (not that Lingsha has any flaw she works best with random mix relics pieces) Robin is also a must pull cause she works in any team. by giving them a Full EXTRA Turn. so hard decision to make, pull the character you love the most.
With the leaks of Tribbie, Feixaio sounds OP lol. But also, I guess The Herta will be strong with Tribbie? That might be the reason I go with THerta. I do lack a strong DPS Ice character.

But I am a kinda new player, so I have Acheron (without JQ) and Rappa (without RM and Lingsha). So, for me and totally new players, BigHerta is ideal. She can be the second team with whoever left (many f2p characters work well) until we can get the badass DPSs of this version.
For second sustain, I hope they will rerun HuoHuo at some point and just survive with whatever I have now.
But for those with 2 good teams, I think, waiting for Castorice (or maybe Mydei, Phai-...Kevin expy) is wise. These 6 reruns in one version thing is a bait for sure.
Okay, Jade is good with BigHerta and Robin is best support unit. But Lingsha is worse choice than HuoHuo (so far), Feixiao and Boothill will likely be less potent with the endgame modes, so getting them now is dumb, SilverWolf is redundant...
Even as a new player, TheHerta and Robin worth it and that's it. Jade is a luxury pull already.
@ashy969 tbh i'd think they'll rerun huohuo soon, tho with how they usually rerun characters synergistic with new units (like rm rerunning with firefly for example) i'm surprised huohuo isn't rerunning with aglaea since she gives energy buffs but maybe she'll follow suit soon
your game plan def sounds solid tho, like yeah you should pull folks you like but also focus on units you'd actually use/need, in your case if you don't see yourself needing or using boothill or feixiao then don't get em

Good thing about the Herta is that she works well with f2p teams so you don't have to pull jade or lingsha if you don't have the ressources

Depends what kind of value you want but overall both are really strong characters. I'd say if you have Sunday then Aglea is the better choice
The Herta is very F2P friendly but Aglaea is not she kinda need her premium comp to deal a lot DMG without Premium comp I can see the big different. I'll pull for Aglaea anyway, already got her premium comp ang I want to play a new path
Is getting Da Herta's LC necessary? I'm planning to roll for her but also Robin since i don't have her yet. I'm gonna skip Aglaea and wait for other Remembrance DPS. My biggest concern is that If I pull for Da Herta's LC I won't have enough for Robin.
Necessary NO, is it one of the better lightcons yes. cause of skill point refund. the Herta is fine at E0S0 is probaly the Firefly of 3.X for F2P. she will get a rerun sooner or later. cause she is like Acheron and Firefly one of those Hoyo Emanators. save up for Robin even if I am going to pull the Herta Lightcon a Robin is worth more for the Herta then her Lightcon, cause Robin gives The Herta Attack buffs aside from the whole party a extra turn.

i want to pull for herta but being f2p iv saved about 50k jades so with the tickets we get and the jades we get till 3.2 i can get maydei and castorice even if i lose both 50/50s but thats not including their lcs
Personally, i think i have to go for The Herta. I have so many supports but not enough dps. Specifically aoe dps for PF. Also might try for Lingsha if i can.

I need everyone’s opinion. I’m f2p guaranteed for therta. I want jade cause I genuinely love her aesthetic, she can be with herta, and I struggle with PF. I want lingsha cause I play FF break team and I only have one other built sustain (Huohuo). I want Robin cause therta can use her, my only built harmony supports are ruan mei and bronya, and I can’t use RMC as support for therta since my firefly uses HMC. Im f2p tho and it’s highly unlikely I’ll get 4 characters in one patch. Someone help me decide 😢
Based off what you said, I would go Herta first. Then, if you really love jade that much, sure go for it. Optimally Robin would be stronger for your account. However we are also getting another harmony character down the road and is rumored to be strong with herta anyways. So you could go that route if you want
As for lingsha, if you can pick up even 1 copy of Gallagher that is already good enough for break teams. I'm also f2p and my galli is just fine. Finally, if you are struggling for a support for herta since hmc is busy with break, you could keep a look out for tingyun. She should be fine with herta until you can get an upgrade.
That is just my perspective. Do what you like of course.
Go for JADE if you love her the most, isn't the most smart thing to do, but she is quite fine character .. you need to twink some stuff to make her fit. if you love her so much then go for it. I loved FF and I whaled on her, and she didn't dissapoint. I followed meta advice for Acheron she SUX monkey balls even after 1 week of grinding. soon she will be phased out of my teams. remember always pull characters you LOVE unless you lack sustain cause you are teams are dying. in that case pulling Lingsha doesn't hurt your team to farm more jade for the future. but my recommendation is Lingsha since you only have Houhou, that gallagher what people are screaming about doesn't solve Cleanse Issue .. have tested it troughly Gallagher is great if your Damage is High, gallgaher sux monkey balls if your team damage is low. while Lingsha can do everything.

Pela and Guinafen will work for Acheron fairly well, though Jaoqui is ideal.

I really did want to Pull for the Herta, but I think Lingsha and Robin are too good to pass up. Being some of the best in the game at what they are doing, they are much better for the future of my account then The Herta, or even Feixiao who i also really want. Lingsha being my priority, as I just managed to get FF and Fugue.
I already have every best in slot character for Aglaea but I NEED The Herta, she's so pretty

Robin is already enough, just get more characters
Get Lingsha if you lack a limited 5* sustain. We know 3.1 doesn't have a new limited 5* sustain, and Lingsha fits a lot of roles surprisingly well.
I recommend The Herta, if you have Jade already. She has value with other Erudition units, but Jade is the big bread winner since it's what Jade players have been waiting for in a lot of ways.
I recommend Robin next, as the more general recommend. Even without her E1, she's just impressively strong with any number of teams, including The Herta and summon teams, and the FUA reliable. I doubt sincerely whatever Tribbie can do will power creep her. But since she's 2nd banner you can also wait to find out just how strong Tribbie will be.
Finally, what I'm personally after: Aglaea and her Light Cone. Simply put, The Herta is a major character, but I'm worried there will be a lack of other Erudition characters for awhile, with the focus being on Remembrance and other ideas. Reminds me a bit of Black Swan in that regard. And there may be other pulls with future Remembrance characters. With the big strength to Aglaea being that some Remembrance character will help a lot as endgame buffs will probably be oriented toward them. As with my Robin recommendation, I'll actually be waiting a long while till I can get a peak at 3.2. That will also determine if I even need another DPS right away, and help think about characters in 3.1/3.2 more clearly.
Had pretty much the same reasoning for Lingsha, she is break, summon, follow-up, buff, debuff, heal, ....
Same for Robin in the prospect of Tribbie.
But how do you see The Herta substantially better than base Herta or Himeko with Jade?
I prefer Jade with base Herta a lot, because her skill can hit 5 and not just 3 enemies, and at best, her follow up will hit 5 enemies again.
But maybe I've misread or skipped something The Herta does.
I'm actually going to skip Aglaea, because she is the first 5* Remembrance character and will probably get powercrept pretty soon with more and more remembrance characters coming in 3.X and strong lightning alternatives existing in Kafka, Acheron or Jingyuan.
@@MrFox-xr9cc While I stand behind my recommendation, I misunderstood The Herta's skill - unfortunately it will only ever generate a max of 5 for Jade, even when The Herta's skill is enhanced by her Ultimate, and The Herta lacks a FUA to generate more stacks for Jade.
That said, it's less about what The Herta does for Jade and more what Jade does for The Herta: The Herta wants a skill-point positive, crit-based DPS Erudition character, and one that hits lots of enemies with all of their attacks, preferably with follow-ups or fast ultimates. Which is Jade, exclusively. Base Herta, Serval, Argenti, Jing Yuan, and Himeko all fit some of those criteria, but not all. And some will, sometimes, do it better than Jade will in a a more general sense, such as Himeko or base Herta follow-ups. But Serval for example tries to pull off shenanigans with Passkey to help The Herta, and still has to basic attack a lot of turns and run survival stats so her ultimate and bounce attacks batteries The Herta. Jade just doesn't have those issues. So if you have a Jade ready to go, you're set up to have a fantastic The Herta already, and in most scenarios a better one than the other Erudition units will pull off.
I want both aglaea and Herta, maybe Robin too, but as a F2P who is interested more in mydei and the Fate collab i maybe skip this patch... I dont really know for now to be honest...

Honestly tho so far no one from the new planet has really made me go “I MUST HAVE YOU” but I’m sure I'll end up pulling a few at some point, I do hope we meet another stoneheart soon tho (opal in particular is who I want to meet bc I like that silly lil guy)
