Same here, I have to enjoy them in story to pull. That's why I skipped Boothill (because when he came out, he barely had any story. But since his banner has come out, they've done some awesome stuff for him and now I want him on the rerun!) And I skipped Rappa because the story for 2.6 with the bananas was the worst story in all of HSR by far. But I've pulled basically every other character, due to the story being 'usually' really good for the characters
I feel like if mydei is an hp-scaling/manipulating dps like you said, Luocha might be a more likely choice for a rerun than Lingsha. As you said, hoyo likes rerunning units that synergize with the main unit, and Luocha has a lot of synergy with hp manipulator dpses like Blade (they let him get 100% uptime on his talent and/or he helps them heal the damage they deal to themselves instantly)
Tribbie being a generalist or buff-changing support sounds cool and fun, but I'm just worried they'll make her TOO generalist and all her uses will be a bit underbaked because of it. There's also the possibility of her being generalist and BROKEN, which would not be good for my jade funds...
As someone without HuoHuo, I don't care if Tribbie ends up being bad as long as she has energy regen for my Aglaea. I REALLY don't want to pull for HuoHuo...
Personally, I think Castorice being played with Mydei isnt her BiS team The reason for that is the new Relic set in 3.0, that increases Quantum DMG in the 2pc, and increases crit rate by 40% if the character have below 90 spd, which makes me believe that as the only Quantum Main DPS revealed so far, that is a Relic set made for Castorice, Which means she would be a Quantum Main DPS that is extremely slow and therefore loves teamates that AA Which makes sense, take for example Aglaea, while she loves Sunday ER and Buffs, she is so fast she doesnt really care that much about Sunday AA, which makes me believe that Sunday (And RMC for that matter) wasnt tailored for Aglaea, and rather for Castorice And yes, it would be Firefly all over again, getting a BiS support right before the first version of their planet (Ruan Mei / Sunday), new MC form being made for them (HMC / RMC), New relic set made for them and being launched at the end of the main story quest in X.2
I hope that because I pulled for Sunday but I don’t want Aglea. I expected them to release more summon type dps but seems were getting HP manipulation instead judging by the leaks in this video
@ThePinkyuu I would guess it's Castorice, Sunday, Flex, Huohuo The "Flex" being one of those three: Robin RMC Bronya Robin is obviously the stronger option, but u may want her in another team, Which makes RMC the next best option, and possibly Bronya If u have her Eidolons If Mydei is some sort of a "Secondary DPS" (Like MarchTH, Moze, Topaz, or RMC) that can AA, then he is def going to be a great support for Castorice aswell, since him would technically be a 5 star RMC (Tho Im not sure he would be better than Robin still) If that's not the case and he is a Main DPS, then the Castorice & Mydei Synergy that ppl are talking about is prob going to just be a really weird one, that may work but would still fall behind compared to their respective BiS team (For reference take DotCheron or BladexJingliu teams, while It may work somewhat, It's worse than the respective Acheron team, DOT team, Jingliu team and Blade team)
I've probably said this before but another thing I really appreciate about this channel is how the information is delivered. Everything that could be taken as multiple long paragraphs gets shortened / simplified to terms that are easy to understand. Such as using pre-existing Characters to help describe how a new talent or mechanic works, as an example. As for the editing, the chibi art and lack of background music helps drive the focus towards what you're talking about. Additionally, using character Splash Art helps alot in cases where you mention multiple characters back-to-back and with not only a large cast, but a growing one makes it harder and harder to remember everyone.
Thank god this channel exists omg it's literally one of the most reliable ones for leaks.That and I still need Robin so knowing when she might rerun is literally a gift from god 😭
