No matter how many times I ran through this game or got comfortable with most of the boss fights, Genshin and Elizabeth always made me sweat. If you don't CHEESE it like this video, it can be one of the most intense fights the games has.
I totally forgot you have to fight Elizabet right after Genshin, and wasted all my grain on him, basically having to run and spam Eclipse Scythe during Elizabet's whole boss fight.

Granted Razor's Edge is only the 2nd best in the series (in my opinion), 2 was the Trilogy's magnum opus, the best it had to offer in every aspect. One was a nice (if infuriating at times) start that launched one of the greatest series reboots in Video Games I've ever seen.
I love the way the pro players make it look so easy! While the rest of us play the same boss 145 times winning 5 out of 145! (On master ninja) and the ass hole pros always say "Ryu is op!" Well give me what the enemy has and they can make me up! I'm going to complete the MN run but I'm done after this!
the boss fights are so terribly done in NG2 Its horrible. especially this plot armor loser that just counters everything so you dont get to use all your skills to face him like a real boss fight tou just let him do his combo then whack him a few times because counters make him instantly do an attack to cancel your counter, jumping or arial strikes make him do it to counter you, his constant guard breaks and grab spamming makes him just bullshit, its disgusting that they thought this was like ok even for its time it was bad. hell the skeleton giant boss is stupidly easy when you learn that you just smack his orb with a blackhole twice after you make him fall over. literally not even two minutes.
I can agree with you that the boss fights are maybe not that good in comparison as they were in the previous game but everything that you said just learns you how to play the game not just actually cheesing it. You can’t just flying swallow your enemy to the death and block everything until your enemies gets exhausted. The game itself gives you all the tools to beat the boss, you just don’t using them correctly. So yes, boss fights are the weakest part of the game but everything that you said below don’t make any sense.

Genshin died with so much honor. Took his loss like a true boss and Ryu honored him by placing his sword among the graveyard of the honored dead.
