For me it’s maintaining what I brought into my life for someone else. I’m the type of person who doesn’t feel the need to be cute at all when there’s no one to impress. The best dates are those with me, myself, and I. I took myself out on a 1 month "date" to Panama, Colombia, and Ecuador for the entire month of February. Currently in Ecuador. Yeah it be giving that sometimes.

ONE I completely agree with you when it comes to it being hard to move on, I just ended my 3.5 year relationship. Like my first love, he helped me heal through a lot of shit and was there for me when family wasn't. But he was also a source of all my low vibrational energy. I needed to leave bc I couldn't grow in that environment even though I still love him but you gotta do what you gotta do for you boo. I love this new chapter for you babes!🤗

I am in an almost 6 year relationship and although I see no breaking up in the near future, I still have been planning to take myself on a date just purely out of self love.
Whether in or out of a relationship, I think dating yourself should always be a normalized thing! No one can love you like you love you and I truly believe that. Personally, I am the dopest, most fun person to hang out with (and I love hanging out with my man or my friends so no offense to them lmao) and I hope we all feel that way about ourselves and actively do it!
