This is the first video of the installation of a Kenne Bell intercooled supercharger to my MG ZT 260 V8. The MG ZT 260 uses the engine from a SN-95 Ford Mustang GT, so this video should also be useful if you are installing a Kenne Bell into your SN-95 Mustang GT.

      The adaptive cruise control uses the radar in the lower grille and the camera in the windscreen. Maybe the water is affecting these somehow? I have had issues with it when I have condensation on the inside of the windscreen. Sometimes the inside of the windscreen is clear, but the area where the camera is, is still misty as the housing stops the demisting (if that makes sense?)

    Good luck, just be mindful that the extra loading can be detrimental to the engines longevity. I am on my third engine, not all due to the additional power! The first went due to water ingress and subsequent misfires, the second "let go" when pressing on a bit. I now have a fully forged and balanced Teskid unit from Modular Head Shop in Florida. Will be watching all instalments.

      @superjumboracing Do you know if all cars have the radar as standard or how I can tell if it has a radar installed already? Mine has the front facing camera for lane assist which I've heard is needed for the ACC to work.

    • @superjumboracing
      @superjumboracing 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t think all of the Giulias have the radar already fitted, but I could be wrong! The radar should be behind the shiny plastic part in the front grille, I don’t know if you can remove the cover, and physically look for the radar module behind? Does your car have autonomous breaking, as surely that must use the radar?

    • @samuel623
      @samuel623 18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@GitheadJrfrom what I have read all UK models have the radar and camera fitted as standard. Depending on the options taken for whoever purchased the car from new would depend on what other hardware is fitted (ie Buttons) and software enabled. For instance my Giulia Speciale did not have auto beam, AAC+ fitted, however by adding the ACC+ buttons and enabling it along with the auto beams in the software, it works. If you are not from the UK then one give away might be the 'FCW (forward collision warning'. This uses the radar to scan the road ahead, therefore if you have that plus the camera then you should be able to install without issue.

    I use this all the time, but maybe different than you might think. When in heavy traffic and traffic yams. Just set it to shortest distance and it will accelerate and break with the traffic flow and if you come to a full stop behind another car and the traffic starts moving again, just tap the acceleration pedal and it will start to follow the flow again. It's magic to be honest, just a little daunting if it's going to break when you're rolling up to the car in front of you for the first time, but you get used to it. Works flawlessly for me and saves me my sanity.

      @@superjumboracingfinally got round to fitting the new button cluster today. It fought me all the way getting it off and back on again. Luckily I had no breakages and it went back in reasonably straightforward. Think I'm the opposite to you, I struggled more with the fitting of the buttons than I did with the reprogramming of the car. In total took me about 1hr30 including test drive. I was at least an hour messaging around with the buttons though. I had previously enabled the auto beams which seem to work well. I did have an issue with constant 'FCW not available -Clean Screen' messages. I found a spider had moved inside the camera compartment and had built some webs obstructing it. On cold days it would build condensation on the webs. Cleaning it out was pretty straightforward and put some rainx anti fog on the screen there too. One to look out for in future.

I used “Fix-it adhesives, fast fix extreme high temperature spray adhesive” for the headliner and I used their standard high heat spray on the door cards. Thanks for your Trim-Fix recommendation. I bought 3 tins, 500g. I used 2 tins to lay on a lavish amount of adhesive. The headlining had been replaced at some time and it was dangling like soggy curtains in the middle, extending the full length. ...It was easy to remove the lining from the base, AND...the backing was sponge and undamaged. I started by sticking down the middle, and then after this was stuck down, worked around the sides. Reason being, the middle of the headlining can be subject to tension if you just stick everything and flatten down the middle towards the sides. ANYWAY........IT WORKED....so, I'm Mr. Smartypants. Sidenote....After reattaching the headlining, I read the small print on the tin. It said 'Not suitable for headlinings'. Well....it certainly worked. Thanks for your help. You're a Star. High 5s all round.

      I’m sorry you are having issues. Are you losing coolant from the lower coolant reservoir? My car still had a warranty, so it was covered by that. I think the cost would have been around £325’ish. I haven’t looked into what is involved in the work, but the parts cost is very small.

    • @superjumboracing

      Thanks for the comment. Yes, the axle set of pads should wear at the same rate, unless you had something like a stuck piston, but I think you would probably notice something was wrong. I have my wheels off so often, that it’s easy for me to keep an eye on pad wear visually.

    • @superjumboracing
      @superjumboracing 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment. On my car there was only one connector from the car wiring loom/harness, to the rear brake pads wear sensors. (It seems to only monitor one side?). My car is a UK right hand drive, so my pads had a connection for the pad wear sensor on the left hand side (passenger). The right hand side (driver side) fly lead from the brake pad was attached to the retaining clip on the calliper, but the actual plug wasn’t connected to anything (it is just left unplugged). I hope that helps.

    Hi bud, thanks a lot for putting this up. My CDTi door cards are now needing replacing so your How-To is dead useful.🙂 What area of material did you need for the four cards please? More specifically, what quantity did you order from AS Trim? Thanks.

      Thanks for the comment! They sell the Milano foam backed as 1 metre x 1.5 metre sizes. I ordered 2 of these. Just check that it will be a continuous piece 2 M x 1.5 M. I think that is how the send it anyway, but better to check. I don’t think you could do it with just a one metre piece, you also really want to have the material running in the same direction. I messed up one door card, and destroyed the material when trying to unstick it. Good luck with it.

    • @superjumboracing
      @superjumboracing 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good news on the MOT! I ended up using around one and a half cans, but I messed up one door card and had to do it again. I think I used more adhesive than I maybe needed to, but I didn’t want the bond to fail. I think you could probably just use one can, but I can’t be sure on that. My most important tip, is to try and follow the dips in the door card, when putting the material on, and to try and get the material into the dips without stretching, if that makes sense? For instance, don’t lay the material flat down over the complete door card, then try and stretch it down into the dips/recesses.

    • @superjumboracing

    Hello. Very important note. When finish replacing pass and discs many times you need to retract pistons in the caliper. Ones is done and job finish you need to jump into the car directly pump several times brake pedal till the moment it will "grow up" then you can start ignition. If you skip that process ecu will detect it and take it as a leaks from braking system. As a respond it will block some sections on abs pump and brakes won't work at all or just a side. Additionally you will get "Christmas tree lights" on your dashboard/cluster. It that case without computer your car will be INOP.
