    It's great to see the effort that goes in to the catch, with a limited haul on that trip. Being someone who's been spearfishing since a teenager, you appreciate the effort that goes in. Long hours for sometimes little reward. Well done.

    Impressive Engine hours. I had a Deutz on my Boat when I bought it but the cost of parts was horrific, so I changed it for a Thorneycoft.

    • @Graham19951
      @Graham19951 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@stephenadams9767 Hi I made those for a few of the local trawlers. They work an unusual rig around here, passed on from the French men many years ago. Our ground is all banks, with them going almost straight up twenty meters in places. Trawl wings go straight to the doors. Foot rope normaly about 12 meters with the wing ends going to the back of the doors, with almost no bridels. Roller goes in middle of footrope to help it climb up the face of the banks. I made them out of ten inch pipe with a shaft through the middle with an eye on each end and a big home made washer either side of roller to hold the shaft in place. Bear in mind I was a crabber who liked to play with steel so I only have a basic idea of how they worked. I used to make creeps, winch leavers, rollers, all sorts of stuff to pass away a blowy day. One of our boats was sold to wales, with bank trawls on board, the new owner reconed he could tow where he never could before. Hope this was some help. Cheers.

    Why don't he have ice onboard to cover the fish with to keep it fresh longer. It's start to loose quality as soon it's getting warm and dry. Where I fishing in Lofoten, north Norway, it's a law that we must cover our catch with ice. If we haven't done it the fish industry refuse to buy our catch.

    • @bailiwickfishing1295
