Sad he didn't continue this and went back to complaining about WoW whilst playing WoW. He looked like he enjoyed it. Plus he barely learned nothing about this game, but once you do this game becomes addicting

I was attracted by the cinematic trailers, but was god damn disappointed when I try the demo. ESO cinematic and gameplay graphics is almost on par, except for the very tiny details one. More likely he hasnt played a sandbox RPG, eso doesn't really fit the mold of a True MMO. It's much more focused on the story's of each quest and the player made story.

For instance it is a true elder scrolls experience in the fact that the meta doesn't matter as much, because much like other elder scrolls games you can really play however you want and complete almost all of the content. Obviously there will always be the most optimum way to play like in every mmo but I'm literally built as a half tank half dps all around sort of character as a necromancer and am doing just fine. Have even qued up for a couple things and no one has yelled at me for not being built optimally yet. You can legit quest and explore your way through the entire game with almost no friction and quests feel pretty well written and voice acted. Exploring is also almost just as rewarding as in something like skyrim where you'll stumble onto quests and npcs and even chests to lockpick in the same way. Tbh the only way it isn't a true elder scroll experience is in technical things like combat, physics, and pricing structure. Things like that.

And then he goes and gets overwhelmed by modern industry standard character creation and realistic proportions... Too many years of WoW have left him sheltered and unprepared for the rigors of modern character creation which is connected to lore that predates the Warcraft universe, and it shows. XD
They’ve been calling it Mágica since, from what I know, at least Morrowind, which is around the very early 2000’s. So they didn’t reinvent it, they are just sticking to their past games and lore.

I love that you get 15 bucks worth in crowns in addition to the bag and so mucb dlc content via the sub. I think it's one of the better values as far as mmo subs go. And even without subbing, you still can do end game for most dungeons and trials

it's not like the craft bag absolves any responsibility in inventory and toon management. since the bank and pack system is still really in-depth. the craft bag is more about quality of life as far as managing mats.
Asmongold. The appearance when creating a character does not determine how you will look. You can wear any armor, any style for each character class. Second thing: will you be a melee or magic figure? Here, too, the class does not matter. Of course, some combinations are better in others, but this is most important only for the endgame. Before starting to play ESO, a decision must be made in three aspects: What general appearance of the character (color, whether lizard or human, etc.), what passive racial abilities you want and what skills you want to support, or class selection. Everything else is freely configurable in the game.
I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan. Played ESO for a bit and its great and full of amazing lore. ESO and FFXIV are outstanding mmos with amazing stories, amazing character creation, mechanics and communities.
I join a clan in eso literally no one would help me figure out how to build...or the skills rotations they would just run me thru dungeons which I didn't know what the hell was going on. Now ffvix has a great community. i would do pvp in eso which I like once I figure a decent build but. There was abunch of douchbags when I was learning my class.
ESO is THEE mmo to play nowadays. The endgame is great, building and perfecting your character is so much fun and it has a really good in game economy. He should really jump into it again.
They can't upgrade WoW Customization because it will fuck up gear scaling on the characters so they would need to recreate a lot of gear to then allow for more in-depth character customization. Blizzard won't do it because of their slogan these days which is "minimum effort" and it's too much effort for Blizz to do such big and fundamental change to the game.

there is a specific zone you have to enter for PvP, but you can invite people for a duel almost anywhere.
the pvp zones are huge, you can spend the entire game in them if you like.
Not server, there is pvp zone area named Cyrodil divided by 3 faction, you can kill others faction players, siege and so on there. There is also battleground
