Eh, I wouldn't say that. I'm use to Kenji Utsumi's brolic grizzley voice, I think that's a perfect fit. It might be because this VA voiced Dio but to me it's just too much of an intelligent sounding voice if that makes sense.
Love how much of a beast Raoh is in that dynamic intro. Kenshiro is trying to hit him, and Raoh doesn't even budge. Kenshiro tries to attack from behind, and Raoh _kicks him away without even looking._ YOU MUST *NEVER* FUCK WITH RAOH THE KEN-OH.
It's amazing, yet it makes sense, how the bosses can survive more than one of Kenshiro's special techniques. They can either reduce the damage they suffer by either using their own energy to deflect Ken's or just being swole enough to avoid having their pressure points hit all together. It seems to be that Raoh has both.
Jesus, what the hell were they feeding Raoh when he was growing up? Ken isn't exactly short himself, but Raoh's even'bigger than him. But yeah, I love how the soundtrack and the dynamic intro reinforce just how dangerous Raoh is as an opponent. Like, 'you really shouldn't be fighting this guy'. And even at the end of the fight he's just like 'meh, you did well, but it isn't enough. We'll finish this later.'
well that's because the creators of FoTNS actually made him that way, they always had a thing about making most of the villains giant in the most bizarre ridiculous way (such as the case of Devil Rebirth for he's actually the most biggest character in the entire FoTNS universe and also one of the weakest, TBH i find him way more ridiculous than Raoh and other giant characters due to how enormous he is, the dude is almost like a size of building that would make you say "is this guy even a human or what?" lol) for me my theory is maybe Raoh probably had a good giantism genes in him, same goes for his older brother Kaioh too, but as for Devil Rebirth however, that guy's size is beyond science nor even human nature lol :P
What's really impressive about this fight is that due to the chronology of the game, this would be Kenshiro and Raoh's first fight since Ken was declared the successor. But whereas in the original series they beat each other near to death before Toki intervened, and Ken promptly collapsed while Raoh could still walk away (and in the movie Raoh won outright), here *Raoh* is the first to tap out (albeit not because he's on the edge of defeat), showing how much faster Kenshiro has grown compared to in the manga. I mean hell he even figured out Thouzer in a single fight compared to needing a rematch against Souther.
So, I didn't know much about FOTNS as a whole, I got the game because it was made by the RGG studios, however for the characters and story elements that were lifted by the show/manga (I have my reasons for not looking into it that are more personal problems rather than the franchise.) I had a very good friend of mine fill me in on the details so I at least KNEW who the characters from the manga/show were. With all the build up my friend and the game did backed up by the AMAZING music, I was intimidated, I found myself muttering "This is the most intimidating boss the RGG team has ever made.) and dear lord by the end of the fight? My hands were trembling a little. One of my favorite bosses from the game as well as one of my favorite games the RGG studios have made.
In an alternate timeline, the Apocalypse drastically transformed Tuxedo Mask and Kunzite into ripped martial artists. One becomes a violent messiah who wanders the wasteland protecting the weak and slaughtering those that oppress them. The other becomes a tyrant who craves power to stand against the heavens.
Raoh was a real cool boss who some cool QTEs. I just wished the fight would've lasted longer. Also who do you think would've came out on top if the brothers kept brawling? Just wondering cause Ken seemed mighty surprised that Raoh was already ready for round 2.
Indeed. Using Ryuken's talisman or Celestial Hundred Fist Rush puts him into an exlusive coughing blood position. Which is a nice detail since Toki and Ryuken were the only ones to be able to bring Raoh to the ground without the aid of brute force, only technique and style. If a Juuza or Koryu Talisman had special technicque cutscenes for them, I sure they might as well put Raoh on this special reaction too.
@@onekarodriguez3134 I think it was by fighting Toki at Cassandra. Where you unlock the Talisman and have to refine it by getting the successor's Augite (That is unlockable by facing Toki's copycat at Collosseum)
Because, I don't know, it is better to have an original boss of the game than to repeat Raoh all the time, with which this Raoh and fighting with him is enough.
Can I say the only thing I don't like about the titles for bosses isn't like the original ones which are more badass? Other than that, this game fricking rocks.
It only works with enemies that can be launched into the air, the way I do it is I launch enemies with square triangle triangle, then you should see the triangle prompt for it.

In general they have always been very inconsistent with the size of Raoh, sometimes he is slightly taller than Ken, sometimes he is twice and sometimes he is a fucking giant.
**RAOH HAS THE FIST THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS**

I miss Frank too but Joji’s all the better for it now.

Yeah patrick seitx did a good job on bringing him to the dub version
Yeah he is the VA for Dio and Ira Gamagori.
Yep. Jagi's english VA was also really great in portraying his mad dog personality.
Raoh is the hero the world deserves, Ken is the one it needs.
Always Be One Villain
Patrick Setiz nailed the role for Raoh! I vote for a new Hokuto series!
That baritone of his is godly. Perfect for Raoh.
Oh yeah! Definitely!
I knew it!!
DIO!!!!!😡😤
@dswolf123 If I'm not mistaking he voiced Ragna right????
The fact that DIO didn't attempt to stop time is highly upsetting

Consider that Toki is Raoh's blood brother. They came from the same womb.
They are REAL ACTUAL SIBLINGS.

I would say Raoh is the M. Bison of this universe, but that would be a disservice to Raoh. Both are beasts within their perspective universes, though.
You say that, but Raoh's sole opponent that he had ever truly feared, Fudo the Mountain, is twice as large as he is.
In the anime and movies they're the same size.

Great voices for these two. Roah and Kenshiro sounds great!
At 4:31, how Kenshiro punched Raoh with one blow, it's similiar to Bruce Lee when he hitted Chuck Norris with one punch in the old movie.
Let's face it, we need more Hokuto no Ken. Hell, the original manga basically kickstarted Shōnen as an archetype.
