Uighur is a straight up monster. He's survived Kenshiro's hundred crack fist *after* it launched him into a grave dug up for Kenshiro *after* it forcefully squeezed him inside the hole so he would fit, long enough to give a final omenous premonition. Freakin, insane!

I’m a little new to FOTNS, but here’s what I think. I wouldn’t think twice if all of these bandits and lowlifes were all soldiers during the war that had been routinely given some kind of super steroid or genetic engineering (how else would you explain Devil Rebirth?). We already know that cybernetics was a thing in this world with Targa, so why not that? It would also explain why they are so easily found in fairly organized groups if they were simply sticking with the unit they were with when the nukes dropped and their sadistic tendencies could conceivably be side effects of these procedures. We also see a lot of normal people that appear, well, normal so know that people aren’t normally that jacked in that world. Just my two cents.

I'm sure Paul St. Peter would do a different voice for Shimano if he ever voiced him. For reference, he's the Announcer for Soul Calibur 5 and 6, and the English voice for Wamuu from JoJo.
Imagine how boring the Cassandra would have been if the gate guards were just 6 regular dudes and Uighur just came right out through the front gate when they lost, totally skipping the arc? The cartoon builds the legend about the prison and the people that run it. By the time he gets there you really get a feeling of the depth of the place and the strength of its inhabitants. By the time Kenshiro reaches the warden, you are legitimately concerned with weather or not the warden can be overcome. Pretty much all of that is lost here. I get that it has to be adapted for a video game, but damn did the warden really have to come marching OUT of the prison after 6 guards were defeated?
That's the problem with this game: despite the good gameplay, the plot isn't very interesting and all the characters from the manga are mostly a pretext for boss fights and are often hollow (even Souther and Raoh could have been scrapped easily from the game).
I wish they made a bit more effort in recreating the iconic death of fist of the North Star but i guess that's going against the sensibility of the Yakuza series director.

I have no idea what this game is and I also have no idea what this anime is as I mainly hate anime but this is so much like Yakuza it hurts and I want to play this so bad, is it any good? EDIT: just bought the game and I am in love.
If you're looking try and watch an anime, some good starter anime i'd reccomend Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo. Maybe even Psycho-pass if you're into some futuristic scifi with some interesting concepts. All of these are relatively short and have good dubs so you're good to go no matter which language you watch them in.
+JRayC2002 Like Mylon says, if you like this and the Yakuza series, then you don't really hate anime, you were just aware of the wrong kind for your taste all this time (which I would bet to be the mainstream current kind of manga/anime, which I also can't stand). I recommend you to take a look to some classic Seinen (such as Berserk and Legend of the Galactic Heroes) and some Shounen from the 80's and 90's with actual adult and mature casts (like Hokuto no Ken itself and Rurouni Kenshin).
One of the only part that I actually don't like in this game..... Cassandra is not as haunted and disturbing like in the manga and anime and Uighur doesn't use his whiplash technique like in the anime
It's NEW GAME +. when you finish the game and you finish only the story, that's the level you get more or less. ex hard it's not available at the beginning, you have to finish the game in any difficulty.
