It's an unrefined "swing your arms/legs at whatever" style, which was kind of how Mr. Shakedown fought, so it fits. Not to mention that while I love the Yakuza games, the asset reuse can be a little "...Hm."

Why are people upset about the dub? In my opinion this is probably the best dub in any Fist of the North Star related material I've heard yet.
Because people always bitch about the dub, even thoug the majority of dubs over the past decade or so have been good to great. Just purist nonsense. I have nothing against the original Japanese, but a lot of dubs are just fine. And this one, from the sound of it, is excellent.
It's good but I prefer the voice actor in Ken's rage
Dub is great, it’s just that Kiryu voicing Kenshiro and Majima voicing Jagi that has me prefer sub.
Personally, Ken's Rage is much better than this one. But Lost Paradise is also a really good dub. I don't find any bad dubbing in here.

The english dub for this game is actually pretty decent. The only thing I don't like is how the VA for Kenshiro doesn't match up to the legendness of Takura Kuroda. But that was to be expected. Still pretty good though.
I'm more shocked by the fact that Kenshiro and Prompto share the same voice actor. Robbie Daymond's got a lot more range than I expected.

I don’t know Kenshiro’s voice actor has more of a serious tone which I like. Definitely better than how his voice was back in the 80s anyways in terms of the English dub. I’m recognizing a lot of these voice actors from modern anime too

Take a look at the French dub in 1980s where they even slaughter the techniques names, for example hokuto became in french ''Au couteau de cusine'' and Nanto became ''Manteau de fourrure''. French fans like me were traumatized

Nah this dub is excellent. Even better than the old English dub.
More gore is shown in cutscene than the actual gameplay itself. Pretty much the only thing gameplay shows is exploding heads and arms.

yes, his level is too high against the first bosses! you should fight this fight with level 10 or 12 ... anyway after the battle with rey his level is balanced with the rest of the game

Although KOEI, for example, didn't release its HnK game on PC (Ken's Rage, I believe it was called), despite that they released other games from Musou series often. Perhaps Japanese marketers don't believe that a HnK game would be popular among Western audiences.

Either one of two things, one the name Taruga was a mistranslated, or the translaters changed his named to Targa so it would fit better with the lip sync.
